Settings image for simulation software

Abstract

This image is used in simulation software for mechanical components and is a setting image for creating bushing elements (spring elements) for structural analysis. It includes a component selection window, operation buttons, an information display window, and an input window. For example, for a linear guide, you select the linear guide, rail, and block, then select to display the rail or block individually (change the view), select the rigid surface on the rail side and the rigid surface on the block side, and specify the bushing orientation to instruct the simulation software to create the bushing element (spring element) (see "Reference Figure 1 showing an example of the display state"). Similarly, for a ball screw, you select the ball screw, screw shaft, and nut, then select to display the screw shaft or nut individually (change the view), select the rigid surface on the screw shaft side and the rigid surface on the nut side, and specify the bushing orientation to instruct the simulation software to create the bushing element (spring element) (see "Reference Figure 3 showing an example of the display state"). The image shows the top of the left component selection window and the top of the lower right component selection window selected. The simulation results are displayed on a separate screen from the image.
