Jig for applying window glass coating

Abstract

The article related to the design is a jig 10, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which is pressed against a windowpane and slid to apply a transparent coating liquid that seeps out to the windowpane, thereby forming an ultraviolet-blocking film. As shown in Reference Figure 2, this article is a long, rectangular two-layer sponge made of a soft sponge coating layer 11 (yellow) and a hard sponge support layer 12 (black), fitted into an aluminum support frame 13 (blue) with a U-shaped cross-section, with the soft sponge coating layer 11 exposed from the aluminum support frame 13. Handles are fixed to both ends, and the coating work is usually performed by two people supporting it.
