Coil bobbin

Abstract

The article relating to the present design is, for example, a coil bobbin for a small transformer. The article mainly comprises a winding core for winding a coil, a terminal block, and terminals. The terminals also have a mounting portion that is surface-mounted to a mounting board and a connection portion that connects to the coil end. The winding core has a protrusion on its front side that is thicker, and the presence of this protrusion forms a accommodating groove for accommodating the starting wire of the coil winding. A starting wire conductor path is formed that guides the starting wire from the connection portion of the terminal to the upper part of the winding core, via a notch at the bottom of the terminal block and the accommodating groove.
