Abstract

To provide a washing machine which suppresses a backflow while suppressing lowering of a water supply amount.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: an outer tub elastically supported in a housing; a tank for storing a liquid agent supplied to the outer tub; a liquid agent input device for sucking the liquid agent from the tank and supplying it to the outer tub; a liquid agent discharge flow passage for guiding the liquid agent supplied from the liquid agent input device to the outer tub; and a water supply flow passage provided on the upstream of the liquid agent discharge flow passage, and for guiding water supplied via a water supply valve to the liquid agent discharge flow passage. The water supply flow passage includes: a first flow passage communicating with the water supply valve; a water discharge port for allowing water to flow out from the first flow passage; and an air gap being a space where ambient air can come in / go out. The water discharge port communicates the first passage and the air gap. The air gap has an elevation difference between the upstream side and the downstream side, and is arranged further on the upstream side than a place where the liquid agent is inputted into the liquid agent discharge flow passage by the liquid agent input device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
