Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, in the above prior art, since the slit portion for passing the strap has a cut-off shape, when the edge along the long side of the slit portion receives force from the strap during the operation of the strap, the slit portion opens up like a roll-up, and the inside of the vehicle seat becomes visible.
[0005] In consideration of the above facts, an object of the present invention is to obtain an opening structure for inserting a strap that can prevent or suppress the inside of the vehicle seat from being visible through the opening for inserting the strap.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the first aspect, a first elongated hole-shaped opening is formed in a portion of the seat skin of a vehicle seat through which an operating strap is inserted. The first opening is formed by bending two pieces formed by an H-shaped cut toward the back side. On the back side of the seat skin, a backing member is disposed that is continuously provided in a region corresponding to the first opening and its peripheral portion and is sewn to the two pieces. The backing member is formed with a second opening through which the strap can be inserted and whose length in the short side direction is shorter than that of the first opening. The edge forming the long side of the second opening is constituted by a folded-back portion.
[0007] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the first aspect, the first elongated hole-shaped opening formed in the seat skin is formed by bending two pieces formed by an H-shaped cut toward the back side. On the back side of the seat skin, a backing member is disposed that is continuously provided in a region corresponding to the first opening and its peripheral portion and is sewn to the two pieces. For this reason, the peripheral portion of the first opening is reinforced. Further, the backing member is formed with a second opening through which the strap can be inserted and whose length in the short side direction is shorter than that of the first opening. Thereby, the interior of the vehicle seat is less visible from the second opening. Furthermore, since the edge forming the long side of the second opening is constituted by a folded-back portion, even when the edge forming the long side of the second opening receives a force from the strap, deformation of the second opening is suppressed.
[0008] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the second aspect, in the first aspect, the backing member is formed such that two pieces in a superposed state are sewn together on both predetermined sides and in the same straight line and are bent so as to separate from each other along the straight line, and the space between the pair of sewing portions is used as the second opening.
[0009] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the second aspect, a backing member having a folded-back portion as the edge forming the long side of the second opening can be configured with a small number of parts.
[0010] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the third aspect, in the first aspect or the second aspect, the backing member is bent on both sides in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening on the side opposite to the seat skin side, and is provided with upright portions that stand up at positions including the vicinity of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the second opening.
[0011] According to the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the third aspect, the range that can be seen inside the vehicle seat from the second opening can be reduced by the upright portions.
[0012] In the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the fourth aspect, in the third aspect, the backing member includes a backing main body portion arranged along the seat skin, and on both sides of the backing main body portion in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening, the backing member is folded back so as to be arranged on the side opposite to the seat skin side with respect to the backing main body portion, overlapped with the backing main body portion, and is continuous with the proximal end side of the upright portion via a bent portion, and has an overlapping portion in which the end portion on the bent portion side is sewn to the backing main body portion.
[0013] According to the opening structure for inserting a strap according to the fourth aspect, the backing main body portion of the backing member is arranged along the seat skin. Also, the overlapping portion of the backing member is folded back so as to be arranged on the side opposite to the seat skin side with respect to the backing main body portion on both sides of the backing main body portion in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening, overlapped with the backing main body portion, and is continuous with the proximal end side of the upright portion via a bent portion, and the end portion on the bent portion side is sewn to the backing main body portion. Thereby, the upright portion can be provided with a small number of parts.
Effects of the Invention
[0014] As described above, according to the opening structure for inserting a strap of the present invention, it is possible to prevent or suppress the interior of the vehicle seat from being visible through the second opening which is the opening for inserting the strap.

MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[0016] The opening structure for inserting a strap according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In each figure, the arrow FR appropriately shown indicates the front side of the vehicle seat 10 to which the opening structure 20 for inserting a strap of the present embodiment is applied, the arrow UP indicates the upper side of the vehicle seat 10, and the arrow W indicates the width direction of the vehicle seat 10. Also, in each figure, some reference numerals may be omitted for ease of viewing the drawings.
[0017] (Configuration of the Embodiment) FIG. 1 shows a simplified perspective view of a vehicle seat 10 to which an opening structure 20 for inserting a strap according to the present embodiment is applied. The vehicle seat 10 is, as an example, a bench seat type rear seat for three persons. The vehicle seat 10 includes a seat cushion 12 that supports the buttocks and thighs of the seated occupant, a seat back 14 that supports the back of the seated occupant, and a headrest 16 that supports the head of the seated occupant. The opening structure 20 for inserting a strap is provided, as an example, at the upper part on the back side of the seat back 14. In FIG. 1, for convenience, the opening structure 20 for inserting a strap is shown in a simplified manner.
[0018] The seat back 14 has a frame (also referred to as a "seat back frame") not shown that constitutes a skeleton part, a pad (also referred to as a "seat back pad") not shown that is covered on the frame, and a seat skin (also referred to as a "seat back skin") 22 that covers the pad. One end side of the operation strap 18 is disposed inside the seat back 14 and connected to an internal mechanism. A gripping portion 18A for the occupant to grip is provided on the other end side of the strap 18. The operation strap 18 can be, as an example, an operation portion for seat arrangement. Since a configuration using an operation strap is known, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-90809 and the like, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0019] FIG. 2 shows a view of the opening structure 20 for inserting the strap as seen from the front side, and FIG. 3 shows a view of the opening structure 20 for inserting the strap as seen from the back side. In FIGS. 2 and 3, the strap 18 is shown by a two-dot chain line, and the portion overlapping the strap 18 is shown in a state where the strap 18 is seen through.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 2, a long hole-shaped first opening 22H is formed in a portion of the seat skin 22 through which the operation strap 18 is inserted. The longitudinal direction of the first opening 22H is, for example, the same direction as the vehicle width direction. The first opening 22H is formed by folding two pieces 22A and 22B formed by an H-shaped cut 22C (shown by a thick line in the figure for easy viewing) shown in FIG. 7 toward the back side as shown in FIG. 8.
[0021] FIG. 4 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of the state cut along the line 4-4 of FIG. 2, and FIG. 5 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of the state cut along the line 5-5 of FIG. 3. In FIGS. 4 and 5, the direction in which the surface of the seat skin 22 faces is indicated by an arrow A, and the direction in which the back surface of the seat skin 22 faces is indicated by an arrow B. Also, in FIG. 4, the illustration of the strap 18 (see FIG. 2) is omitted.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, a back lining member 30 is disposed continuously in a region corresponding to the first opening 22H and its peripheral portion on the back side of the seat skin 22. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the back lining member 30 includes a back lining main body portion 30A disposed along the seat skin 22. As shown in FIG. 4, the back lining main body portion 30A of the back lining member 30 is sewn to the two pieces 22A and 22B with sewing portions Sd and Se. As shown in FIG. 3, the sewing portions Sd and Se extend in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first opening 22H (see FIG. 2).
[0023] As shown in FIG. 2, the lining member 30 is formed with a second opening 30H through which the strap 18 can be inserted and whose length in the short side direction is shorter than that of the first opening 22H. The second opening 30H is provided so as to pass through the central region in the short side direction of the first opening 22H, and the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first opening 22H.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 3, the lining member 30 is formed by sewing two pieces 32 and 34. In the present embodiment, as an example, the first piece 32 of the two pieces 32 and 34 constitutes the upper part of the lining member 30, and the second piece 34 of the two pieces 32 and 34 constitutes the lower part of the lining member 30.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 4, the edge forming the upper long side of the second opening 30H of the lining member 30 is constituted by the folded-back portion 32A of the first piece 32, and the edge forming the lower long side of the second opening 30H of the lining member 30 is constituted by the folded-back portion 34A of the second piece 34. Further, the lining main body portion 30A is a portion where a part of the first piece 32 is overlapped and a portion where a part of the second piece 34 is overlapped.
[0026] In the lining member 30, the portion corresponding to the inside of the first opening 22H is sewn at the sewing portion Sa where the double-layered portion is sewn. The sewing portion Sa sews a part of the first piece 32 to each other and also sews a part of the second piece 34 to each other. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the sewing portion Sa is sewn in a rectangular shape having the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H as the longitudinal direction when viewed from the front side and the back side, and the seat skin 22 is also sewn at both ends in the longitudinal direction (see FIG. 2).
[0027] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the backing member 30 is bent on both sides in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H on the side opposite to the seat skin 22 side, and is provided with standing portions 30S that stand up at positions including both ends in the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H. As shown in FIG. 3, the standing portion 30S includes a standing main body portion 30S1 that extends along a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H when the backing member 30 is viewed from the back side, and a short piece portion 30S2 that is folded back short from the end portion on the second opening 30H side of the standing main body portion 30S1 to the outside of the backing member 30 when the backing member 30 is viewed from the back side.
[0028] Also, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the backing member 30 is provided with an overlapping portion 30B that is folded back so as to be disposed on both sides in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H on the side opposite to the seat skin 22 side with respect to the backing main body portion 30A in the backing main body portion 30A and is overlapped with the backing main body portion 30A. The overlapping portion 30B is continuous with the proximal end side of the standing portion 30S via a bending portion 30C (see FIG. 5), and the end portion on the bending portion 30C (see FIG. 5) side in the overlapping portion 30B is sewn to the backing main body portion 30A at sewing portions Sb and Sc. As shown in FIG. 3, the sewing portions Sb and Sc extend along a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H.
[0029] FIG. 6 shows an enlarged and simplified state of the state seen from above after cutting along the line 6-6 of FIG. 1. In FIG. 6, the illustration of the strap 18 (see FIG. 2) is omitted, the range through which the strap 18 (see FIG. 2) can be inserted is indicated by 20HW, and examples of the passenger's line-of-sight directions are indicated by arrows LS1 and LS2. As shown in FIG. 6, the standing portion 30S functions as an anti-peek wall that prevents or suppresses the interior of the vehicle seat 10 (see FIG. 1) from being visible.
[0030] Next, the manufacturing of the backing member 30 will be briefly described with reference to FIGS. 9 to 12.
[0031] For manufacturing the back lining member 30, two pieces 32 and 34 having the same shape shown in FIG. 9 are used. In the following description, for convenience, the left-right direction in the drawing of the two pieces 32 and 34 in FIG. 9 is referred to as the width direction, and the up-down direction in the drawing of FIG. 9 is simply referred to as the up-down direction.
[0032] The two pieces 32 and 34 include main body parts 32B and 34B that constitute the middle part in the width direction thereof, and overhanging parts 32C and 34C provided on both sides outside the width direction of the main body parts 32B and 34B. V-shaped notches 32N and 34N for alignment are formed at the up-down ends of the main body parts 32B and 34B. The overhanging parts 32C and 34C are provided outside the width direction of the parts excluding the upper parts of the main body parts 32B and 34B. Slits 32X and 34X are formed along the up-down direction at the upper parts of the boundaries between the main body parts 32B and 34B and the overhanging parts 32C and 34C.
[0033] To manufacture the back lining member 30 (see FIG. 3 etc.), first, the two pieces 32 and 34 shown in FIG. 9 are overlapped as shown in FIG. 10, and the overhanging parts 32C and 34C on both the left and right sides in the state where the two pieces 32 and 34 are overlapped are sewn at the suture parts Sf and Sg on the same straight line. The suture parts Sf and Sg extend from near the lower ends of the slits 32X and 34X toward the outside in the width direction in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the slits 32X and 34X. Next, the two pieces 32 and 34 are bent so as to be separated from each other (see arrows C1, C2, C3, C4) along the linear suture parts Sf and Sg and the virtual straight line L1 connecting these suture parts Sf and Sg to obtain the state shown in FIG. 11.
[0034] To supplement the explanation, the backing member 30 shown in FIG. 3 and the like is formed by sewing together two pieces 32 and 34 in a superimposed state as shown in FIG. 10 at suture portions Sf and Sg on both predetermined sides and on the same straight line, and then bending them along the straight line (in other words, along the linear suture portions Sf and Sg and the virtual straight line L1 connecting these suture portions Sf and Sg) so as to separate from each other, thereby forming a second opening 30H as shown in FIG. 4 and the like between the pair of suture portions Sf and sg. It should be noted that the gap of the second opening 30H is extremely small in the state before the strap 18 (see FIG. 1) is inserted. However, in FIGS. 11 and the like showing the state before the strap 18 (see FIG. 1) is inserted, for the sake of easy viewing of the figure, the gap of the second opening 30H is explicitly shown for convenience.
[0035] Next, starting from bending the overhanging portions 32C and 34C shown in FIG. 11 with their base ends (the boundaries with the main body portions 32B and 34B) as the bending positions so as to overlap the main body portions 32B and 34B (see arrow C5), then bending a predetermined position near the base ends of the overhanging portions 32C and 34C as the bending position (see the two-dot chain line L2) so as to raise most of the overhanging portions 32C and 34C (see arrow C6), to obtain the bending shape as shown in FIG. 12. In this embodiment, since the slits 32X and 34X shown in FIGS. 11 and the like are formed in the two pieces 32 and 34, the bending with the base ends of the overhanging portions 32C and 34C as the bending positions can be realized well. Next, as shown in FIG. 12, the end portions on both sides in the width direction of the main body portions 32B and 34B and the portions near the base ends of the overhanging portions 32C and 34C overlapping them are sewn at sewing portions Sb and Sc along the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H. Thus, the backing member 30 shown in FIG. 12 can be manufactured.
[0036] Next, the arrangement of the backing member 30 on the seat skin 22 (see FIG. 2 etc.) will be briefly described. FIG. 13 shows the state in which the backing member 30 is arranged on the back side of the seat skin 22 in the state shown in FIG. 8 as viewed from the front side, and FIG. 14 shows the state in which FIG. 13 is viewed from the back side. As shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, when viewed in the penetrating direction of the first opening 22H of the seat skin 22, the backing member 30 is arranged such that the outer peripheral side portion thereof overlaps with the peripheral portion of the first opening 22H of the seat skin 22, and the central position of the backing member 30 corresponds to the central position of the first opening 22H. The backing member 30 arranged in this state is sewn to the seat skin 22 at the sewing portions Sa, Sd, Se as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, whereby the opening structure 20 for inserting the strap of the present embodiment is obtained.
[0037] (Operations and effects of the embodiment) Next, the operations and effects of the present embodiment will be described.
[0038] In the present embodiment, the long hole-shaped first opening 22H formed in the seat skin 22 shown in FIG. 2 is formed by bending two pieces 22A, 22B formed by the H-shaped cut 22C shown in FIG. 7 to the back side. As shown in FIG. 4, on the back side of the seat skin 22, a backing member 30 is arranged which is provided continuously in the region corresponding to the first opening 22H and its peripheral portion and is sewn to the two pieces 22A, 22B. Therefore, the peripheral portion of the first opening 22H is reinforced.
[0039] Also, as shown in FIG. 2, the backing member 30 is formed with a second opening 30H through which the strap 18 can be inserted and whose length in the short side direction is shorter than that of the first opening 22H. Thereby, the inside of the vehicle seat 10 (see FIG. 1) is difficult to be seen from the second opening 30H. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, since the edge portions forming the long sides of the second opening 30H are constituted by the folded-back portions 32A, 34A, even when the edge portions forming the long sides of the second opening 30H receive force from the strap 18 (see FIG. 2), the deformation of the second opening 30H is suppressed.
[0040] Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, the backing member 30 is formed by stitching together two pieces 32 and 34 in a superimposed state at stitching portions Sf and Sg on both sides thereof and on the same straight line, and is bent along the straight line (in other words, along the linear stitching portions Sf and Sg and a virtual straight line L1 connecting these stitching portions Sf and Sg) so as to separate from each other, thereby forming a second opening 30H as shown in FIG. 4 and the like between the pair of stitching portions Sf and sg. Therefore, the backing member 30 having the folded-back portions 32A and 34A as the edges forming the long sides of the second opening 30H can be configured with a small number of components.
[0041] Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the backing member 30 is bent on both sides in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H on the side opposite to the seat skin 22 side, and is provided with standing portions 30S that stand up at positions including near both ends in the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H. Therefore, the range that can be seen from the second opening 30H shown in FIG. 2 into the interior of the vehicle seat 10 (see FIG. 1) can be reduced by the standing portions 30S shown in FIG. 6.
[0042] Here, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the backing main body portion 30A of the backing member 30 is arranged along the seat skin 22, and the overlapping portion 30B of the backing member 30 is folded back so as to be arranged on both sides of the backing main body portion 30A in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H on the side opposite to the seat skin 22 side, and is superimposed on the backing main body portion 30A. At the same time, it is continuous with the base end side of the standing portion 30S via the bending portion 30C (see FIG. 5), and the end portion of the overlapping portion 30B on the bending portion 30C (see FIG. 5) side is sewn to the backing main body portion 30A at sewing portions Sb and Sc. Thereby, the standing portion 30S can be provided with a small number of components.
[0043] As described above, according to the opening structure 20 for inserting a strap of the present embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, it is possible to prevent or suppress the interior of the vehicle seat 10 from being visible through the second opening 30H which is the opening for inserting the strap. Further, in the opening structure 20 for inserting a strap, not only can the appearance quality be improved, but also the sagging (deterioration over time) of the second opening 30H can be suppressed even when the number of uses of the strap 18 increases.
[0044] Also, the sewing parts Sd and Se between the two pieces 22A and 22B of the seat skin 22 and the backing member 30 shown in FIG. 4 are sewn in a triple - layer configuration. Therefore, compared with a configuration where sewing is done in a four - layer configuration, it is easier to sew and the consumption of sewing thread can also be suppressed, making it suitable for mass production.
[0045] (Supplementary explanation of the embodiment) In the above - described embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, the backing member 30 shown in FIG. 3 etc. has two pieces 32 and 34 in a superposed state sewn at the sewing parts Sf and Sg on both sides at a predetermined position and on the same straight line, and is bent along the straight line so as to separate from each other, thereby forming the second opening 30H shown in FIG. 4 etc. between the pair of sewing parts Sf and Sg. Such a configuration is preferable. However, as a modification of the above - described embodiment, for example, in the backing member, two pieces are arranged so that the folded - back parts face each other, and connecting pieces are arranged on both sides in a direction orthogonal to the facing direction of the two pieces at the position where the two pieces are bridged, and the two pieces and the connecting pieces are sewn, thereby forming the second opening. Such a configuration can also be adopted.
[0046] Also, in the above - described embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the backing member 30 is bent on both sides on the side opposite to the seat skin 22 side in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H and is provided with standing parts 30S that stand up at positions including near both ends in the longitudinal direction of the second opening 30H. Such a configuration is preferable. However, as a modification of the above - described embodiment, a configuration where the backing member does not have standing parts can also be adopted.
[0047] Also, as a modification of the above embodiment, the backing member includes, for example, bent piece portions that are bent and protrude on both sides in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second opening (30H) on the side opposite to the seat skin (22) side. One planar forming portion (the portion on one side with respect to the fold line) of the first separate piece bent in an L shape is sewn from the outside in a back-to-back state with respect to the bent piece portion. Further, the second separate piece is sewn to both the other planar forming portion (the portion on the other side with respect to the fold line) of the first separate piece and the backing main body portion arranged along the seat skin (22), so that the bent piece portion is provided as a standing portion that stands at positions including near both longitudinal ends of the second opening (30H). Such a configuration can also be adopted.
[0048] Also, in the above embodiment, the opening structure 20 for inserting the strap is applied to the seat back 14 (see FIG. 1), but the opening structure for inserting the strap may be applied to, for example, the seat cushion (12), the headrest (16), the armrest, etc.
[0049] Note that the above embodiment and the plurality of modifications described above can be implemented in appropriate combinations.
[0050] As described above, an example of the present invention has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to the above, and it goes without saying that various modifications can be made without departing from the gist thereof.
