The heating method for Examples 4 and 12 was steaming for 15 minutes each, and the heating method for Examples 13 and 14 was retort sterilization for 20 minutes each. The resulting foie gras-like paste was evaluated in the same manner as in Study 1. The results are shown in Table 2.

Claims

1. An animal food substitute paste comprising the following (A): (A) A soybean emulsion having a dietary fiber content / protein content ratio of 0.01 to 1.

2. The animal food substitute paste according to claim 1, further comprising the following (B): (B) An oil or fat having a solid fat content (SFC) of 0.1 to 50% at 10°C and an SFC of 0.1 to 30% at 20°C.

(b) A step of heat-treating the dough obtained in step (a).

15. 15. The method for producing an animal food substitute paste according to claim 14, wherein in step (a), the following (B) is further contained, mixed, and emulsified: (B) An oil or fat having a solid fat content (SFC) of 0.1 to 50% at 10°C and an SFC of 0.1 to 30% at 20°C.
