[0003] [Patent Document 1] Utility Model Registration No. 3232697 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] If the advertising boards constituting the above-mentioned advertising boards are too large, it may cause problems in the layout of the store in which the advertising boards are installed. For this reason, it is important to be able to change the width of the advertising board depending on the size of the installation location of the advertising board, as in the invention disclosed in Patent Document 1.

[0005] On the other hand, when considering the effectiveness of advertising, it is desirable to be able to choose between using the advertising board as a single board or dividing it into two depending on the installation location of the advertising board. By deciding how to use the advertising board while taking into consideration visibility and customer flow, the effectiveness of the advertising appealed by the advertising board can be increased.

[0006] Therefore, the present application provides an advertising board body that can be adapted to both a use form in which the advertising board is used as one board and a use form in which the advertising board is divided into two and used, and a leg body required for this advertising board body. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The first invention disclosed in this application is an advertising board body including a main board and a sub-board that is shorter in width than the main board, the main board and the sub-board being configured to be separable, and a leg body having a roughly rectangular main board and a pair of side boards connected to both sides of the main board in the width direction, the leg body being configured to be self-supporting by bending the pair of side boards.

[0008] In order to solve the problem of the present application, in the advertising board body disclosed in the first invention, a sub-leg body that is smaller than the leg body and has the same configuration as the leg body is formed so that it can be cut out from the main board of the leg body, and at least a first slit for inserting the main board is formed on the upper edges of the pair of side boards of the leg body, and a second slit for inserting the sub-board is formed on the upper edges of the pair of side boards of the sub-leg body.

[0009] In the advertising board body disclosed in the first invention, the advertising board is configured to be divisible into the main board and the sub-board, and further, by forming the sub-leg bodies on the leg bodies, it is possible to selectively use the advertising board in two ways: in which the advertising board with the main board and the sub-board connected is supported by the leg bodies, and in which the main board is supported by the leg bodies and the sub-board is supported by the sub-leg bodies.

[0010] In the advertising board body disclosed in the first invention, it is desirable that the shape of the pair of side panels be an approximately right-angled trapezoid, and that the second slit be formed on the upper and outer side edges of the pair of side panels of the sub-leg body so that the vertical position of the sub-board supported by the sub-leg body can be changed.

[0011] In the advertising board body disclosed in the first invention, the advertising board may be structured such that the main board and the sub-board are connected by a detachable connecting member, or the advertising board may be structured such that the main board and the sub-board are connected by perforations. The second invention disclosed in this application is a leg used to support an advertising board having a main board and a sub-board shorter in width than the main board, the main board and the sub-board being configured to be separable. The leg disclosed in the second invention has a substantially rectangular main board and a pair of side boards connected to both sides of the main board in the width direction, and is configured to stand on its own by bending the pair of side boards. Sub-legs smaller than the leg but having the same configuration as the leg are formed on the main board of the leg, and at least a first slit for inserting the main board is formed on the upper edges of the pair of side boards in the leg, and a second slit for inserting the sub-board is formed on the upper edges of the pair of side boards in the sub-legs. The leg disclosed in the second invention is the leg required for the advertising board disclosed in the first invention.

[0012] As with the first invention, in the leg body disclosed in the second invention, it is desirable that the shape of the pair of side plates is an approximately right-angled trapezoid, and that the second slit is formed on the upper and outer side edges of the pair of side plates of the secondary leg body. [Effects of the Invention]

[0013] As described above, the advertising board body disclosed in this application is configured to be compatible with both usage patterns in which the advertising board is used as a single board and usage patterns in which the advertising board is divided into two. [0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention disclosed in this application will be described. This embodiment is intended to facilitate understanding of the present invention. The present invention is not limited to this embodiment. Furthermore, unless otherwise specified, the drawings are schematic diagrams drawn to facilitate understanding of the present invention. Furthermore, the height direction and width direction in this embodiment follow the directions shown in the drawings. 1 is a diagram illustrating an advertising board 1 according to this embodiment. The advertising board 1 according to this embodiment includes an advertising board 2 having a main board 20 and a sub-board 21 that is shorter in width than the main board 20 and configured to be separable from the main board 20 and sub-board 21, and legs 3 having a substantially rectangular main board 30 and a pair of side boards 31 connected to both sides of the main board 30 in the width direction and configured to stand on their own by bending the pair of side boards 31. Furthermore, the advertising board 1 according to this embodiment includes connecting members 22 used to connect the main board 20 and sub-board 21. The advertising board 2 is a plate-like medium used for displaying advertisements. In the advertising board body 1 according to this embodiment, the advertising board 2 is composed of at least a main board 20 and a sub-board 21 so that it can be used in both a usage mode in which the advertising board 2 is used as a single board (hereinafter referred to as a first usage mode), and a usage mode in which the advertising board 2 is used by dividing it into two, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 (hereinafter referred to as a second usage mode). In either usage mode, by emphasizing the name and main features of the product on the main board 20 and providing detailed product information on the sub-board 21, it becomes possible to provide a consistent advertisement as a whole and to convey the appeal of the product to consumers from multiple angles. In the first usage mode, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected widthwise by the connecting member 22. In the first usage mode, the main board 20 connected to the sub-board 21 by the connecting member 22 is treated as a single board. Therefore, in the first usage mode, only one leg is required to support the advertising board 2. In contrast, in the second usage mode, a leg to support the main board 20 and a leg to support the sub-board 21 are required. To address this, the leg body 3 according to this embodiment has a structure that can accommodate two usage modes. Specifically, the leg body 3 according to this embodiment is formed so that sub-leg bodies 4, which are smaller than the leg body 3 but have the same configuration as the leg body 3, can be cut out. By cutting the sub-leg bodies 4 out of the leg body 3, the leg body 3 and the sub-leg bodies 4 can be used separately. In the first usage mode, the leg body 3 is used to support an advertising board 2 in which a main board 20 and a sub-board 21 are connected in the width direction by a connecting member 22. In the second usage mode, the leg body 3 from which the sub-leg bodies 4 are cut out is used to support a main board 20 to which the sub-board 21 is not connected. Also, the sub-leg bodies 4 cut out from the leg body 3 are used to support a sub-board 21 to which the main board 20 is not connected. In this application, "same configuration" means that even if the details are different, the overall shape and board arrangement are the same.

[0016] Next, the advertising board 2 will be described in detail. FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the advertising board 2. The advertising board 2 is a component for displaying advertisements. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the advertising board 2 includes a main board 20 and a sub-board 21. In this embodiment, E-flute cardboard, also known as micro-flute, is used as the material for the advertising board 2 (main board 20 and sub-board 21). The corrugations (grain direction) of E-flute cardboard run along the height direction of the advertising board 2. In this embodiment, E-flute cardboard is used for the advertising board 2 to keep the price of the advertising board body 1 low and because it is highly suitable for printing advertisements. Because E-flute cardboard has narrow corrugation spacing and a smooth surface, advertisements can be printed in a similar manner to ordinary paper. Note that if the price of the advertising board 2 is not a consideration, a material other than E-flute cardboard can be used for the advertising board 2. For example, a styrene panel can be used for the advertising board 2. E-flute cardboard is a thin material for cardboard. The thickness of E-flute cardboard is approximately 1.5 mm. Therefore, if E-flute cardboard is used as is for the advertising board 2, the boards included in the advertising board 2 (main board 20 and sub-board 21) will become wavy or bent, which will make the advertisement look unattractive. Therefore, in this embodiment, two layers of E-flute cardboard are used for the advertising board 2, thereby increasing the strength of the boards included in the advertising board 2. Note that if a stronger material such as cardboard thicker than E-flute or a styrene panel is used for the advertising board 2, it is not necessary to use two layers. In this embodiment, the main board 20 is produced by folding in half the height of a main board 23a, which is E-flute cardboard with twice the height and the same width as the main board 20, and gluing the two together (FIGS. 2(a), (b), and (c)). Similarly, the sub-board 21 is produced by folding in half the height of a sub-board 23b, which is E-flute cardboard with twice the height and the same width as the sub-board 21, and gluing the two together (FIGS. 2(a), (b), and (c)). Note that, because advertisements are printed on the advertising board 2 (main board 20 and sub-board 21), the E-flute cardboard used in this embodiment has a white outer surface when folded in half the height.

[0017] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the height of the main board 20 (e.g., approximately 300 mm) and the height of the sub-board 21 (e.g., approximately 300 mm) are the same. This is to prevent a step from occurring due to the difference in height when the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the widths of the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are different. In this embodiment, the width of the sub-board 21 is shorter than the width of the main board 20. The width of the sub-board 21 (e.g., approximately 300 mm) is approximately half the width of the main board 20 (e.g., approximately 600 mm).

[0018] Next, the connecting member 22 will be described. FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the connecting member 22. FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating how the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected in the width direction. In this embodiment, the connecting member 22 is a detachable member for connecting the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 in the width direction. The specific form of the connecting member 22 may be any as long as it can connect the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 in the width direction. In this embodiment, an H-shaped board clip is used as the connecting member 22. Two spaces 222 are formed inside the connecting member 22 that uses an H-shaped clip, by two main rods 220 and a sub-rod 221 that connects these main rods 220. As shown in FIG. 4, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 can be connected in the width direction using the connecting member 22 by inserting the main board 20 into one space 222 and inserting the sub-board 21 into the other space 222. Furthermore, by removing the connecting member 22 that connects the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 in the width direction, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 can be used separately. In the connecting member 22, the space 222 formed by the two main rods 220 and the sub-rod 221 is provided with multiple protrusions 223 to prevent the board inserted between them from slipping out. These protrusions are made of soft plastic.

[0019] Next, the leg 3 and the sub-leg 4 formed on the leg 3 will be described in detail. Fig. 5 is a first diagram illustrating the leg 3 and the sub-leg 4. Fig. 6 is a second diagram illustrating the leg 3 and the sub-leg 4. Fig. 5 shows the leg 3 and the sub-leg 4 in a state where both sides are not bent. Fig. 6 shows the leg 3 and the sub-leg 4 in a state where both sides are bent. The leg body 3 constituting the advertising board body 1 according to this embodiment is a member that supports the main board 20 included in the advertising board 2 in an upright state. In this embodiment, as with the advertising board 2, the material of the leg body 3 is E-flute cardboard. The material of the leg body 3 is the same as that of the advertising board 2, but unlike the advertising board 2, the leg body 3 does not consist of two layers of E-flute cardboard stacked together. This is because the strength of the leg body 3 is increased by bending both sides of the leg body 3. As shown in Fig. 5(a), the leg 3 according to this embodiment has a main body plate 30 and a pair of side plates 31 connected to the main body plate 30 in the width direction via a fold line 33. The leg 3 according to this embodiment is configured to stand on its own when the pair of side plates 31 are folded approximately perpendicular to the main body plate 30. As shown in Fig. 6(a), when each of the pair of side plates 31 is folded approximately perpendicular to the main body plate 30 using the fold line 33, the leg 3 becomes approximately C-shaped, and the leg 3 can stand on its own.

[0020] The main body plate 30 according to this embodiment is a rectangular plate. The width of the main body plate 30 is based on the width of the main board 20. For example, if the width of the main board 20 is approximately 600 mm, the width of the main body plate 30 will be approximately 400 mm. The height of the main body plate 30 is arbitrary as long as the sub-legs 4 can be formed. A pair of side plates 31 are connected to both sides of the main body plate 30 according to this embodiment via folding lines 33. In this embodiment, each of the pair of side plates 31 provided on the leg body 3 has a substantially right-angled trapezoid shape. A right-angled trapezoid means a trapezoid in which two adjacent interior angles form 90 degrees. The outer side edges 311 of the pair of side plates 31 provided on the leg body 3 are slanted. A first slit 32 extending downward is provided on the upper edge 310 of each of a pair of side panels 31 provided on the leg body 3. The width of the first slit 32 is approximately the same as the thickness of the advertising board 2. When installing the advertising board body 1, the main board 20 of the advertising board 2 is inserted into the first slits 32 of the pair of side panels 31 bent at approximately a right angle to the main board 30, and the main board 20 can be supported on the leg body 3 in an upright state using the first slits 32. In this embodiment, first slits 32 provided in a pair of side panels 31 are provided with curved portions 320 that bulge toward the inside of the leg body 3. When the main board 20 of the advertising board 2 is inserted into the first slits 32, the main board 20 can be sandwiched at the curved portions 320 provided in the first slits 32, and the first slits 32 allow the main board 20 of the advertising board 2 to be firmly locked to the leg body 3.

[0021] To accommodate the second usage mode, as shown in Fig. 5(a), a cutout line 300 beginning at the bottom edge is used in the main body plate 30 of the leg body 3 according to this embodiment to form a sub-leg body 4 that is smaller than the leg body 3 but has the same configuration as the leg body 3. As shown in Figs. 5(b) and 5(c), by cutting out the center of the lower part of the main body plate 30 along this cutout line 300, the sub-leg body 4 can be cut out from the leg body 3, making the sub-leg body 4 usable. As shown in Fig. 5(b), a notch that conforms to the shape of the sub-leg body 4 is created in the center of the lower part of the main body plate 30a from which the sub-leg body 4 has been cut out. In this embodiment, the sub-leg 4 shown in FIG. 5(c) is smaller than the leg 3 shown in FIG. 5(a), but has the same configuration as the leg 3. As shown in FIG. 5(c), like the leg 3, the sub-leg 4 has a main body plate 40 and a pair of side plates 41 connected to the main body plate 40 via a fold line 43, and a second slit 42 extending downward is provided on the upper edge 410 of each of the pair of side plates 41 of the sub-leg 4. In this embodiment, each of the pair of side plates 41 of the sub-leg 4 has a substantially right-angled trapezoid shape, like the leg 3, and the outer side edges 411 are slanted. The width of the second slit 42 is approximately the same as the thickness of the advertising board 2. The main body plate 40 of the secondary leg body 4 is smaller than the main body plate 30 of the leg body 3, and the width of the main body plate 40 of the secondary leg body 4 is based on the width of the sub-board 21. Like the first slit 32 of the leg body 3, the second slit 42 also has a curved portion 420. When the sub-board 21 is inserted into the second slit 42, the sub-board 21 can be supported on the secondary leg body 4 in an upright state using the second slit 42. Since the pair of side plates 31 of the leg body 3 are not used to form the sub-leg body 4, as shown in Figure 6(b), by using the fold lines 33, each of the pair of side plates 31 is folded approximately perpendicular to the main body plate 30a from which the sub-leg body 4 has been cut out, and the leg body 3a from which the sub-leg body 4 has been cut out is formed into an approximately C-shape, the leg body 3a from which the sub-leg body 4 has been cut out can stand on its own.

[0022] Furthermore, since the sub-leg body 4 has the same configuration as the leg body 3, as shown in Figure 6(c), by using the fold line 43 to fold each of the pair of side panels 41 approximately perpendicular to the main panel 40, the sub-leg body 4 becomes approximately C-shaped, and the sub-leg body 4 can stand on its own.

[0023] From here, we will explain how to use the advertising board 1. Fig. 7 is a first diagram explaining how to use the advertising board 1. Fig. 8 is a second diagram explaining how to use the advertising board 1. Fig. 7 explains the first usage mode. Fig. 8 explains the second usage mode. 7, in the first usage mode, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected in the width direction using two connecting members 22. In FIG. 7, two connecting members 22 are used to connect the upper side of the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 and the lower side of the main board 20 and the sub-board 21, respectively.

[0024] In the case of the advertising board 1 in the first usage form, the legs 3 are used to support the advertising board 2 in a state in which the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected. In the first usage form, the legs 3 are formed into a roughly C-shape using the fold lines 33, and the main board 20 is inserted into at least one of the first slits 32 formed in the pair of side panels 31. In FIG. 7, the main board 20 is inserted into each of the first slits 32 formed in the pair of side panels 31, but the main board 20 may be inserted into one of the first slits 32 and the sub-board 21 may be inserted into the other first slit 32, so that the advertising board 2 in a state in which the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected is supported by the legs 3. Also, in the first usage form, the legs 3 are used without the sub-legs 4 cut out, but it is also possible to use legs 3a in which the sub-legs 4 are cut out. As shown in Figure 7, the first usage mode allows for a larger advertisement to be displayed. For example, when the advertising board body 1, in which the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected using the connecting member 22, is installed on the top of a display fixture, the visibility of the advertisement is higher than when only the main board 20 is installed on the top of the display fixture.

[0025] As shown in Figure 8, in the second usage mode, leg body 3a obtained by cutting out sub-leg bodies 4 is used to support main board 20, and sub-leg bodies 4 cut out from leg body 3 are used to support sub-board 21. In the second usage mode, leg body 3 obtained by cutting out sub-leg bodies 4 is made into a substantially C-shape, and main board 20 is inserted into first slit 32 formed in leg body 3, so that main board 20 is supported by leg body 3. Sub-leg body 4 cut out from leg body 3 is made into a substantially C-shape, and sub-board 21 is inserted into second slit 42 formed in sub-leg body 4, so that sub-board 21 is supported by sub-leg body 4. In the second usage mode, the installation locations of the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 can be changed. For example, if the main board 20 is installed on the top board of a display fixture and the sub-board 21 is installed on a shelf board of the display fixture, the main board 20 can create a visual impact and the sub-board 21 can provide detailed product information to consumers.

[0026] In this way, the advertising board 1 according to this embodiment can be used in either a first usage mode in which the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected together, or a second usage mode in which the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are separated and used. By changing the usage mode of the advertising board 1 according to the size of the installation location of the advertising board 1 and the atmosphere of the installation location, the advertising board 1 can be used to the maximum extent to display advertisements.

[0027] Next, a modified example of the advertising board body 1 according to this embodiment will be described. FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating an advertising board 5 according to the modified example. In the advertising board 2 of the above-described embodiment, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are separated in advance, and the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 can be connected using the connecting member 22. In contrast, the advertising board 5 according to the modified example is configured such that the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are connected via the perforation 50. In a first usage mode, the advertising board 5 according to the modified example is used without breaking the perforation 50. In a second usage mode, the main board 20 and the sub-board 21 are separated using the perforation 50 and used.

[0028] 10 is a diagram illustrating a sub-leg body 6 according to a modified example. When installing a sub-board 21 on a shelf of a display fixture, the height of the sub-board 21 supported by the sub-leg body 4 according to the embodiment can sometimes be an issue. In an extreme example, if this height is longer than the height of the shelf of the display fixture, the sub-board 21 cannot be installed on the shelf of the display fixture.

[0029] Therefore, the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example is devised so that the sub-board 21 can be supported at a lower position. The main body plate 60 of the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example is the same as the main body plate 40 of the sub-leg body according to the embodiment. The pair of side plates 61 connected to the main body plate 60 of the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example via fold lines 63 have the same height and width as the pair of side plates 41 of the sub-leg body according to the embodiment, but their shape differs from the pair of side plates 41 of the sub-leg body according to the embodiment.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 10(a), the pair of side plates 61 of the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example have a shape in which one step 612 is provided on the outer side edge 611. The pair of side plates 61 of the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example have second slits 62a and 62b formed therein so that the position at which the sub-board 21 is supported can be changed. Similar to the pair of side plates 41 of the sub-leg body 4 according to the embodiment, the second slit 62a is formed to extend downward from the upper edge 610 of the pair of side plates 61. The second slit 62b is formed to extend downward from the step 612 provided on the side edge 611 of the pair of side plates 61. Similar to the sub-leg body 4 according to the embodiment, the sub-leg body 6 according to the modified example also has a curved portion 620a provided in the second slit 62a and a curved portion 620b provided in the second slit 62b. The widths of the second slits 62a and 62b are approximately the same as the thickness of the advertising board 2.

[0031] As shown in Figure 10(a), one of the second slits 62b is formed at a lower position than the other second slit 62a, so by supporting the sub-board 21 using the second slit 62b of the sub-leg body 6 in the modified example, the sub-board 21 can be supported at a lower position than when the sub-board 21 is supported using the second slit 62a of the sub-leg body 6 in the modified example.
