Food storage container

Abstract

To provide a food storage container which requires fewer steps to open a lid, minimizes a labor required to clean the container, and minimizes liquid leakage during use.SOLUTION: A food storage container (1) includes a body forming a storage chamber (2) and a lid (14) equipped with clips (22a, 22b). The clips (22a, 22b) have two handles, and the clips (22a, 22b) are attached to one handle that is adapted to engage a flange of the storage chamber (2). By one motion, the clips (22a, 22b) are unlocked and the handle is rotated, thereby depressing the flange, transferring energy from the handle through a knob to the flange and simultaneously lifting and opening the lid (14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1.0a
