(Method for driving a vehicle, computer program product, control system and vehicle) A method for driving a vehicle (1), comprising: a step (S1) of receiving sensor data (S) from a sensor system (3) of the vehicle (1); a step (S2) of detecting the absence of a lane marking (11) and the presence of a preceding vehicle (13) based on the sensor data (S); a step (S3) of determining a virtual lane (14, 14') based on a lateral distance (L1) between the host vehicle (1) and the preceding vehicle (13) and an azimuth angle (α) of the preceding vehicle (13) derived from the sensor data (S); and a step (S4) of executing a lane keeping assist function to keep the host vehicle (1) on the virtual lane (14, 14').
