Abstract

To provide a drum type washing and drying machine capable of easily improving a wrinkle smoothing effect in a wrinkle smoothing process executed before a drying process.SOLUTION: The drum type washing and drying machine 1 includes a drum 23 rotatably disposed around a horizontal axis L in an outer tub 20 and configured to accommodate laundry, a driving motor 30 for rotating the drum 23, a drying device 100 configured to supply hot air into the drum 23 to dry the laundry, and a control part configured to execute a washing and drying operation including a washing process, an intermediate dewatering process, a rinsing process, a final dewatering process and a drying process. The control part can execute the washing and drying operation of the operation mode other than the wrinkle smoothing mode for shifting to the drying process following the final dewatering process, and the washing and drying operation of the wrinkle smoothing mode for shifting to the drying process after executing the warming process for supplying the warm air into the drum 23 and the wrinkle smoothing process in which the drum 23 alternately repeats a plurality of rounds of accelerated rotation and a plurality of rounds of decelerated rotation following the final dewatering process with a dewatering rate lower than that of the operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
