Abstract

To provide a method for manufacturing composite particles with high manufacturing efficiency. [Solution] A method for producing composite particles having polymer graft chains, wherein the step of graft polymerization of monomers in the presence of inorganic particles to which polymerization initiator groups are bonded is suspension polymerization, the graft polymerization is performed by the ARGET ATRP method, and a lipophilic reducing agent is used as the reducing agent of the catalyst in the ARGET ATRP method.
