Claims

1. A conductor and The conductor is provided around the insulating layer, which comprises an insulating inner layer and an insulating outer layer. The insulating inner layer comprises a first base polymer and a metal hydroxide. The metal hydroxide is in an amount of 20 to 300 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the first base polymer. The first base polymer mainly comprises at least one of ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer (EEA), ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer (EMA), and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The insulating outer layer comprises a second base polymer, a phosphorus-based compound, an ethylene glycidyl methacrylate copolymer, an inorganic porous filler, and a hydrolysis resistance modifier. The phosphorus-based compound is in an amount of 1 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the second base polymer. The ethylene glycidyl methacrylate copolymer is present in an amount of 1 to 50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the second base polymer. The inorganic porous filler is in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the second base polymer. The hydrolysis resistance modifier is in an amount of 0.05 to 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the second base polymer. The second base polymer is an insulated wire containing polybutylene terephthalate resin.

2. In claim 1, An insulated wire wherein the hydrolysis resistance modifier is a carbodiimide compound.

3. In claim 1, An insulated wire having an insulating layer thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 mm.

4. In claim 1, An insulated wire wherein the metal hydroxide of the insulating inner layer is at least one of magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, and calcium hydroxide.

5. In claim 1, An insulated wire in which the total thickness of the two layers, the insulating inner layer and the insulating outer layer, is 0.1 to 0.5 mm.

6. In claim 5, An insulated wire in which the ratio of the thickness Tb of the insulating inner layer to the thickness Tc of the insulating outer layer is Tb:Tc = 1:4 to 4:

1.

7. In claim 1, The first base polymer of the insulating inner layer is an insulated wire whose main components are at least one of ethylene ethyl acrylate copolymer and ethylene methyl acrylate copolymer.

8. In claim 1, An insulated wire in which the metal hydroxide of the insulating inner layer is magnesium hydroxide.

9. An insulated wire according to any one of claims 1 to 8, A cable comprising a covering layer provided to cover the aforementioned insulated wire.
