Abstract

The present invention provides aqueous dispersion compositions for imparting antibacterial and / or antiviral properties to textile products. Further, it provides methods for preparing such compositions, as well as methods for using them for textile finishing. [Solution] An aqueous dispersion composition comprising water, at least 2% by weight of magnesium oxide, an anionic polymeric surfactant, a hydroxyethylcellulose thickener, and optionally a binder.
