Claims

1. A connector for connecting multiple joists that make up the base material of a ceiling, It comprises a locking portion that engages with a first furring strip among a plurality of furring strips to be connected, and a fitting portion that fits a second furring strip connected to the first furring strip, and the locking portion and the fitting portion are integrally formed. The fitting portion comprises a first fitting piece, a second fitting piece, and a third fitting piece for fitting into lip portions formed along the longitudinal direction on both side walls of the second furring strip. The fitting portion is characterized by selecting either a first fitting area formed by a first fitting piece and a second fitting piece, or a second fitting area formed by a first fitting piece and a third fitting piece, according to the width of the second furring joist to be connected, and fitting it to the lip portion of the second furring joist, thereby connecting the second furring joist to the first furring joist.

2. The connector for a ceiling joist according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking portion comprises a cover portion for locking onto the upper end of the side wall portion of the first ceiling joist, and locking pieces extending downward from both ends of the cover portion and for locking onto lip portions formed along the longitudinal direction of the first ceiling joist.

3. The fitting portion is characterized in that it is configured to fit the second furring joist with an upper surface portion, side portions extending downward from opposite ends of the upper surface portion, and the first fitting piece, second fitting piece, and third fitting piece provided at the other end of the upper surface portion, as described in claim 1.

4. The connector for ceiling joists according to claim 2, characterized in that the cover portion of the locking portion extends from one end of the upper surface portion of the fitting portion, and the locking portion and the fitting portion are integrally formed from a single member.

5. The connector for ceiling joists according to claim 1, characterized in that the fitting portion is provided with a fixing portion that extends outward from the end of the side portion.

6. The connector for a ceiling joist according to claim 1, characterized in that the fitting portion is provided with an auxiliary first fitting piece, an auxiliary second fitting piece, and an auxiliary third fitting piece on the back surface of the upper portion, which fit into the lip portion of the second ceiling joist.

7. The connector for ceiling joists according to claim 1, characterized in that the fitting portion has one or more rectangular openings on its upper surface, and one or more fitting pieces from the auxiliary first fitting piece, auxiliary second fitting piece, or auxiliary third fitting piece are provided extending downward from one side of the opening.

8. The furring strip connector according to claim 1, characterized in that the fitting portion is provided with a stopper portion at the end of the upper surface portion that connects to the first furring strip, which prevents the tip of the second furring strip from coming into contact with the side wall of the first furring strip.
