Abstract

This provides compounds useful as inhibitors of various polypeptides and other proteins. [Solution] The present invention provides cereblon E3 ligase-binding compounds, including bifunctional compounds containing cereblon E3 ligase-binding compounds, which have been found to be useful as regulators of targeted ubiquitination, and in particular as inhibitors of various polypeptides and other proteins that are degraded by and / or inhibited by other means by the bifunctional compounds according to this disclosure. In particular, this specification provides compounds that contain a ligand that binds to E3 ubiquitin ligase on one end and a portion that binds to a target protein on the other end, thereby positioning the target protein in close proximity to the ubiquitin ligase and causing degradation (and inhibition) of the protein.
