[Solution] An aqueous resin composition for cosmetics comprising resin particles (A) and an aqueous medium, wherein the resin particles (A) comprise a polymer of a monomer mixture containing a nonionic ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a) having a common logarithm (Log Kow) of octanol / water partition coefficient at 25°C of 0.4 or more and less than 2.0, and have glass transition temperatures in the range of -40°C to 30°C and in the range of 40°C to 140°C, a mass-average molecular weight of 100,000 or more, and an acid value of 20 mg KOH / g or more and 40 mg KOH / g or less.
