The rear surface 641 of the upper end portion of the second fixing piece 64 protrudes further rearward than its lower surface 642. The portion that forms the upper end surface of the second fixing piece 64 and is located above the groove 65 is referred to as the groove upper plate portion 643.
[0028] The first upper partition 61 is connected to the front end of the groove upper plate 643. The first upper partition 61 has a lower plate 66 and an upper plate 67. The lower plate 66 is formed in a flat shape. The lower plate 66 is positioned so that its surface faces the front-rear direction. The lower plate 66 extends upward from the front end of the groove upper plate 643. The upper plate 67 extends upward from the upper end of the lower plate 66 and gradually toward the front. The upper plate 67 is curved so as to protrude upward and backward. A second rib 611 that protrudes upward is formed at the front end of the upper plate 67.
[0029] As shown in Figures 3, 7, and 8, the first upper member 6 is fixed to the lower member 5 as follows: The first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6 overlaps the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The second fixing piece 64 of the first upper member 6 overlaps the upper plate portion 53 of the lower partition portion 51 of the lower member 5. The first rib 621 of the first upper member 6 is inserted into the recess 523 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The first rib 511 of the lower member 5 is inserted into the groove portion 65 of the first upper member 6. The upper plate portion 643 of the groove portion of the second fixing piece 64 of the first upper member 6 overlaps the lower partition portion 51 and the first rib 511 of the lower member 5. The first upper partition portion 61 of the first upper member 6 is placed on the upper end of the lower member 5. When the first partition material 41 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 41a between the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6 is located at the upper end of the lower member 5. The boundary portion 41a between the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6 when the first partition material 41 is viewed from the front is located on the upper side of the first partition material 41. After the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6 is placed on top of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5, the first upper fixing portion 62 and the lower fixing portion 52 are fixed with a fastener 94.
[0032] The first rib 511 is formed on the lower member 5 and the groove 65 is formed on the first upper member 6, which prevents the first upper member 6 from lifting away from the lower member 5. The first rib 511 and the groove 65 connect the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6, thus reducing the number of fasteners needed to secure the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6. When securing the first upper member 6 to the lower member 5, the second fixing piece 64 of the first upper member 6 is tilted from rear to front so that it overlaps the upper plate portion 53 of the lower member 5. This allows the first upper member 6 to be secured to the lower member 5 in a smaller workspace compared to when the first upper member 6 is slid into place from the side in the left-right direction relative to the lower member 5.
[0033] As shown in Figures 4, 14, and 15, the second upper member 7 has a second upper partition 71 and a second upper fixing portion 72. The second upper fixing portion 72 has the same shape as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6. Each part of the second upper fixing portion 72 is indicated by the same names and reference numerals as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6.
[0034] The second upper partition portion 71 is connected to the front end of the groove upper plate portion 643 of the second upper fixing portion 72. The second upper partition portion 71 is formed in a flat plate shape. The second upper partition portion 71 is positioned so that its plate surface is horizontal. The second upper partition portion 71 protrudes forward from the groove upper plate portion 643. A step is formed at the connection between the second upper partition portion 71 and the groove upper plate portion 643. The second upper partition portion 71 is positioned slightly above the groove upper plate portion 643.
[0035] As shown in Figure 4, the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7 is fixed to the lower member 5 in the same way as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6. The second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is placed on the upper end of the lower member 5. When the first partition material 41 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 41b between the lower member 5 and the second upper member 7 is located at the upper end of the lower member 5. When the first partition material 41 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 41b between the lower member 5 and the second upper member 7 is located on the upper side of the first partition material 41.
[0036] When the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 are fixed to the lower member 5, the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is positioned at the same height as the lower end of the first upper partition portion 61 of the first upper member 6. The front end of the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is positioned in front of the lower plate portion 54 of the lower member 5. In other words, the front end of the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is positioned in front of the front end of the first upper partition portion 61 of the first upper member 6.
[0037] As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the first connecting member 91 provided between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 on one side of the first partition material 41 in the left-right direction, and the first connecting member 91 provided between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 on the other side in the left-right direction, have a symmetrical shape. Below, the first connecting member 91 provided between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 on one side of the first partition material 41 in the left-right direction will be described. As shown in Figures 16 and 17, the first connecting member 91 has a first connecting portion 911, a second connecting portion 912, and a fixing portion 913. As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the first connecting portion 911 is connected to the end of the first upper member 6. The upper end portion of the second upper fixing portion 72, which is connected to the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7, is positioned in the opening 912b that opens downward near the rear end of the groove portion 912a. The front plate portion 913b of the fixing portion 913 overlaps the rear side of the second fixing piece 64 of the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6 and the second fixing piece 64 of the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7. The bent portion 913g of the upper end of the front plate portion 913b overlaps the groove upper plate portion 643 of the upper end of the second fixing piece 64.
[0045] The first upper partition portion 61 of the first upper member 6 is positioned along the trailing edge portion 911c, the upper edge portion 911d of the plate thickness portion 911b of the first connecting portion 911, and the upper edge portion of the rib 911e. The second rib 611 of the upper plate portion 67 of the first upper member 6 contacts the protrusion 911f of the first connecting portion 911 from one side in the left-right direction. The first connecting member 91 shown in Figure 5 has a shape symmetrical to the first connecting member 91 described above, and the first upper member 6 is connected from the other side in the left-right direction. Refer to Figure 5 for the connection between the first connecting portion 911 and the first upper member 6.
[0046] The first connecting member 91 is fastened together with the second upper member 7 by fasteners 914 inserted into the holes 913f of the vertically overlapping fixing plate portions 913a, the holes 631 of the first fixing piece 63 of the second upper fixing portion 72, and the second hole 522 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5.
[0047] As shown in Figures 18 and 19, the end member 92 has an end plate portion 921, a first projection 922, a second projection 923, a third projection 924, and a fixing portion 925. The end plate portion 921 is flat, and is positioned so that its surface faces left to right. The front edge portion 921d of the end plate portion 921 extends linearly in the vertical direction. The upper edge portion 921e of the end plate portion 921 curves gradually downward toward the rear. The upper side of the rear edge portion 921f of the end plate portion 921 curves to protrude toward the rear. The lower side of the rear edge portion 921f of the end plate portion 921 extends in the vertical direction. The lower edge portion 921g of the end plate portion 921 extends and curves in a direction that gradually curves downward toward the front from the rear.
[0048] The first projection 922 protrudes from the lower part of the end plate portion 921 to one side in the left-right direction. The second projection 923 protrudes from the rear side of the middle part of the end plate portion 921 in the vertical direction to one side in the left-right direction. The second projection 923 is positioned above and behind the first projection 922, with a gap between them. The third projection 924 protrudes from the rear side of the upper part of the end plate portion 921 to one side in the left-right direction. The third projection 924 is positioned above the second projection 923, with a gap between them. A downward projection 924a is formed in the middle part of the third projection 924 in the vertical direction, projecting forward. An upward projection 924b is formed at the upper end of the third projection 924, projecting forward. The projection dimensions of the first projection 922, the second projection 923, and the third projection 924 from the end plate portion 921 are approximately the same. The first protrusion 922, the second protrusion 923, and the third protrusion 924 are hollowed out to reduce weight.
[0049] In the end plate portion 921, in the intermediate portion in the vertical and front-rear directions, a protrusion 926 is formed in front of the third protrusion 924, projecting to one side in the left-right direction. The projection dimension of the protrusion 926 is smaller than the projection dimension of the third protrusion 924. At the upper end of the front edge portion 921d of the end plate portion 921, an upper projection 921a is formed, projecting upward. At the lower end of the front edge portion 921d of the end plate portion 921, a lower projection 921b is formed, projecting downward.
[0050] The fixing portion 925 is flat. The fixing portion 925 is installed in a orientation where the plate surface is horizontal. The fixing portion 925 is provided continuously below the third projection 924. The fixing portion 925 protrudes from the third projection 924 in one direction to the left or right and also forward. In the portion of the fixing portion 925 that protrudes from the third projection 924 in one direction to the left or right, an elongated hole 925a is formed that penetrates vertically and is elongated in the left-right direction.
[0051] As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the end member 92 is attached to the other end of the first partition member 41 in the left-right direction as follows. On the other side of the first partition member 41 in the left-right direction, the first upper member 6 is attached on top of the lower member 5. The end plate portion 921 is positioned on the other side of the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6 in the left-right direction. The fixing portion 925 of the end member 92 overlaps the first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6. The first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6 overlaps the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The second hole 522 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5, the hole 631 of the first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6, and the elongated hole 925a of the fixing portion 925 overlap in the vertical direction.
[0052] The first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6 and the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5 are positioned between the second projection 923 and the third projection 924 of the end member 92. The connecting plate portion 55 of the lower member 5 is positioned along the upper surface of the first projection 922. The lower plate portion 54 of the lower member 5 is positioned along the front surface of the first projection 922. The fourth rib 514 of the lower member 5 is positioned along the lower surface of the first projection 922. The fifth rib 515 of the lower member 5 is positioned along the rear surface 641 of the first projection 922. The upper plate portion 53 of the lower member 5 is positioned along the front surface of the second projection 923. Figure 6 shows an end member 92 provided at one end of the second partition member 42 in the left-right direction. The end member 92 provided on the second partition member 42 has a shape symmetrical to the end member 92 provided on the first partition member 41. Refer to Figure 6 for the connection between the end member 92 and the lower member 5.
[0053] The second fixing piece 64 of the first upper member 6 is positioned along the front surface of the third projection 924. The grooved upper plate portion 643 at the upper end of the second fixing piece 64 is positioned below the lower convex portion 924a of the third projection 924. The first upper partition portion 61 of the first upper member 6 is positioned in front of the third projection 924. The lower plate portion 66 of the first upper partition portion 61 extends upward from the tip position of the lower convex portion 924a. The upper plate portion 67 of the first upper partition portion 61 is positioned on one side in the left-right direction of the upper edge of the end plate portion 921. The convex portion 926 is positioned in front of the upper end of the lower member 5 and the lower end of the lower plate portion 66 of the first upper member 6, which are arranged vertically. The upper end of the lower member 5 and the lower end of the lower plate portion 66 of the first upper member 6 are sandwiched from the front and back by the convex portion 926 and the third projection 924.
[0054] The end member 92 is fixed to the lower member 5 by fastening together with the first upper member 6 through a fastener 927 inserted into the elongated hole 925a of the vertically overlapping fixing portion 925, the hole 631 of the first fixing piece 63 of the first upper member 6, and the second hole 522 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The fact that the hole into which the fastener 927 of the fixing portion 925 of the end member 92 is inserted is an elongated hole 925a allows for adjustment of the position of the end member 92 relative to the first partition material 41.
[0055] The first partition member 41 is assembled at a factory or other facility using the lower member 5, first upper member 6, second upper member 7, first connecting member 91, and end member 92, and then delivered to the site where the kitchen unit 1 is to be installed, where it is fixed to the kitchen unit body 2. As shown in Figure 20, the first notch 524 formed in the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5 is positioned on the other side in the left-right direction of the second upper member 7. Figure 20 is a rear view of the first partition member 41. As shown in Figures 21 and 22, both ends of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5 are fixed to the first side wall portion 241 and the first dishwasher partition wall portion 271 by fixing members 93. The end member 92 is positioned in the notch 271a formed in the front edge portion of the first dishwasher partition wall portion 271. The front edge of the grill partition wall 28 is inserted into the first notch 524 formed in the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The position of the grill partition wall 28 is fixed by inserting the front edge of the grill partition wall 28 into the first notch 524. The first connecting member 91 is positioned in the notch 28a formed in the front edge of the grill partition wall 28.
[0056] As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the lower side of the lower partition portion 51 of the lower member 5 is positioned behind the front plate 31a of the third drawer 313. The lower plate portion 54 of the lower member 5 is located below the upper end of the front plate 31a. A gap is formed between the lower member 5 and the front plate 31a near the upper end of the front plate 31a. The user can insert their fingers into this gap to pinch or hook their fingers on the upper edge of the front plate 31a and insert or remove the third drawer 313 from the kitchen unit body 2. When the third drawer 313 is stored in the kitchen unit body 2, the packing 56 comes into contact with the back surface of the front plate 31a of the third drawer 313. This prevents water, dust, etc. from entering the inside of the third drawer 313 when it is stored in the kitchen unit body 2.
[0057] As shown in Figures 3 and 5, the upper part of the first upper partition 61 of the first upper member 6 on one side in the left-right direction is positioned behind the front plate 31a of the first drawer 311. The upper plate portion 67 of the first upper partition 61 is located above the lower end of the front plate 31a. A gap is formed between the vicinity of the lower end of the front plate 31a and the lower plate portion 66 of the first upper member 6. By inserting their fingers into this gap, the user can pinch or hook their fingers onto the lower edge of the front plate 31a and insert or remove the first drawer 311 from the kitchen unit body 2. The positional relationship between the first upper member 6 on the other side in the left-right direction and the third drawer 313 is the same as the positional relationship between the first upper member 6 on one side in the left-right direction and the first drawer 311.
[0058] As shown in Figure 4, the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is positioned below the front plate 321a of the grill 321. The front end of the second upper partition portion 71 is positioned vertically below the front surface of the front plate 321a of the grill 321. The space between the second upper partition portion 71 and the underside of the front plate 321a of the grill 321 is set to prevent a user's fingers from getting in between. The second upper partition portion 71 prevents a user from inadvertently coming into contact with the underside of the front plate 321a of the grill 321, for example, when reaching for the front plate 31a of the third drawer portion 313.
[0059] As shown in Figures 23 and 24, the second partition member 42 has a third upper member 8 on top of the lower member 5. The left-right dimension of the third upper member 8 is approximately the same as the left-right dimension of the second upper member 7. As shown in Figures 6, 25, and 26, the third upper member 8 has a third upper partition portion 81 and a third upper fixing portion 82. The third upper fixing portion 82 has the same shape as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6. Each part of the third upper fixing portion 82 is indicated by the same name and reference numeral as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6.
[0060] The third upper partition portion 81 is connected to the front end of the grooved upper plate portion 643 of the third upper fixing portion 82. The third upper partition portion 81 has a curved portion 86 and an upper plate portion 87. The curved portion 86 curves upward from the front end of the grooved upper plate portion 643 of the third upper fixing portion 82, gradually moving forward, and protruding upward and backward. The upper plate portion 87 extends forward from the front end of the curved portion 86. The upper plate portion 87 of the third upper member 8 is positioned above the second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 and below the upper plate portion 67 of the first upper member 6.
[0061] The third upper fixing portion 82 of the third upper member 8 is fixed to the lower member 5 in the same way as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6. The third upper fixing portion 82 of the third upper member 8 is placed on the upper end of the lower member 5. When the second partition material 42 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 42a between the lower member 5 and the third upper member 8 is at the position of the upper end of the lower member 5. When the second partition material 42 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 42a between the lower member 5 and the third upper member 8 is located on the upper side of the second partition material 42. When the first partition material 41 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 41a between the lower member 5 and the first upper member 6, the boundary portion 41b between the lower member 5 and the second upper member 7, and when the second partition material 42 is viewed from the front, the boundary portion 42a between the lower member 5 and the third upper member 8 are located at the same height.
[0062] As shown in Figures 6, 23, 24, and 26, an end member 92 is attached to one end of the second partition member 42 in the left-right direction, i.e., the end on the dishwasher 34 side. The end member 92 is attached to one end of the second partition member 42 in the left-right direction as follows: The end plate portion 921 is positioned on one side in the left-right direction of the lower member 5 and the third upper member 8. The fixing portion 925 of the end member 92 overlaps the first fixing piece 63 of the third upper member 8. The first fixing piece 63 of the third upper member 8 overlaps the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5. The second hole 522 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5, the hole 631 of the first fixing piece 63 of the third upper member 8, and the elongated hole 925a of the fixing portion 925 overlap in the vertical direction.
[0063] The first fixing piece 63 of the third upper member 8 and the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5 are positioned between the second projection 923 and the third projection 924 of the end member 92. Figure 6 shows the end member 92 provided at one end of the second partition material 42 in the left-right direction.
[0064] The second fixing piece 64 of the third upper member 8 is positioned along the front surface of the third projection 924. The grooved upper plate portion 643 at the upper end of the second fixing piece 64 is positioned below the lower convex portion 924a of the third projection 924. The third upper partition portion 81 of the third upper member 8 is positioned in front of the third projection 924. The upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81 is positioned on the other side in the left-right direction of the vertically intermediate portion of the end plate portion 921. The end plate portion 921 of the end member 92 attached to the second partition material 42 has a rib 921c formed in the vertically intermediate portion that protrudes to the other side in the left-right direction. The upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81 is positioned along the rib 921c. The convex portion 926 is positioned in front of the upper end of the vertically aligned lower member 5 and the lower end of the curved portion 86 of the third upper member 8. The upper end of the lower member 5 and the lower end of the curved portion 86 of the third upper member 8 are sandwiched from the front and back by the convex portion 926 and the third protruding portion 924.
[0065] The end member 92 is fastened to the lower member 5 together with the third upper member 8 by fasteners 927 inserted into the elongated hole 925a of the vertically overlapping fixing portion 925, the hole 631 of the first fixing piece 63 of the third upper member 8, and the second hole 522 of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5.
[0066] The second partition member 42 is assembled in a factory or other facility using the lower member 5, the third upper member 8, and the end member 92, and then delivered to the site where the kitchen unit 1 is to be installed, where it is fixed to the kitchen unit body 2. As shown in Figure 28, both ends of the lower fixing portion 52 of the lower member 5 are fixed to the second side wall portion 242 and the second dishwasher partition wall portion 272 by fixing members 93.
[0067] As shown in Figure 6, the lower part of the lower partition 51 of the lower member 5 is positioned behind the front plate 31a of the fourth drawer 314. The lower plate 54 of the lower member 5 is located below the upper end of the front plate 31a. A gap is formed between the lower member 5 and the front plate 31a near the upper end of the front plate 31a. The user can insert their fingers into this gap to pinch or hook their fingers on the upper edge of the front plate 31a and insert or remove the third drawer 313 into and out of the kitchen unit body 2.
[0068] The upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81 of the third upper member 8 is positioned behind the front plate 331 of the kitchen sink 33. The upper plate portion 67 of the first upper partition portion 61 is positioned at approximately the same height as the lower end of the front plate 331. The gap between the front plate 331 and the upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81 is set to be small. It is also not necessary to provide a gap between the front plate 331 and the upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81. By doing so, dust and other debris are prevented from entering the interior of the second storage portion 21b from between the front plate 331 and the upper plate portion 87 of the third upper partition portion 81.
[0069] The first partition material 41 and the second partition material 42 are manufactured to the desired form by using a common lower member 5 and selecting the shape and arrangement of the upper members 6, 7, and 8. Therefore, the ease of installation is better compared to manufacturing and installing partition materials of different forms separately. Since the lower member 5 that is fixed to the kitchen unit body 2 is common, the method of attaching the partition materials to the kitchen unit body 2 and the fixing members 93 are the same even if the partition materials have different forms, resulting in good ease of installation.
[0070] The boundaries 41a, 41b, and 42a between the lower member 5 and the upper members 6, 7, and 8, as viewed from the front, are located on the upper side of the first partition material 41 and the second partition material 42. The boundaries 41a, 41b, and 42a between the lower member 5 and the upper members 6, 7, and 8, as viewed from the front, are in a position that is difficult for users to see when standing and using the kitchen unit 1. Therefore, even though the partition material is made by combining the upper and lower members, the boundaries 41a, 41b, and 42a, i.e., the connected parts, are difficult for users to see, thus preventing the design from being compromised by the boundaries 41a, 41b, and 42a.
[0071] The first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6 and the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7, which are provided on the upper side of the lower member 5 of the first partition material 41, have the same shape. Therefore, the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 can be attached to the lower member 5 in the same way, making it easy to manufacture the first partition material 41. Similarly, the third upper fixing portion 82 of the third upper member 8, which is provided on the upper side of the lower member 5 of the second partition material 42, has the same shape as the first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6 and the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7. Therefore, the third upper member 8 can be fixed to the lower member 5 in the same way as the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 can be fixed to the lower member 5, making it easy to manufacture the second partition material 42.
[0072] A first connecting member 91 is provided between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7 of the first partition material 41. This allows for easy connection between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7, which have different shapes. The first connecting member 91 can fill the gap between the first upper member 6 and the second upper member 7.
[0073] This disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above and can be modified as appropriate. For example, the upper members 6, 7, and 8 may be fixed to the kitchen unit body 2 instead of the lower member 5. In addition to the lower member 5, the upper members 6, 7, and 8 may be fixed to the kitchen unit body 2.
[0074] As shown in Figures 29 and 30, a second connecting member 95 may be provided between the first upper member 6 and the third upper member 8, which are arranged side by side in the left-right direction on the lower member 5. As shown in Figures 31 and 32, the second connecting member 95 has a first connecting portion 911 and a fixing portion 913 similar to the first connecting member 91. The second connecting member 95 has a second connecting portion 952 instead of the second connecting portion 912 of the first connecting member 91. The second connecting portion 952 has a rib 952a and a groove portion 952b. The rib 952a is provided along the lower edge of the upper portion 911a of the first connecting portion 911. The rib 952a protrudes from the first connecting portion 911 to the other side in the left-right direction. The rib 952a extends in the front-rear direction. The groove portion 952b is formed on the other side of the first connecting portion 911 in the left-right direction. The groove 952b is positioned on top of the rib 952a.
[0075] The first upper member 6 is connected to the first connecting portion 911 in the same way as the first connecting member 91. The fixing portion 913 is fixed to the third upper fixing portion 82 of the third upper member 8, just as it is fixed to the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7. The upper plate portion 87 of the third upper member 8 is placed on the rib 952a of the second connecting portion 952. The end of the third upper partition portion 81 of the third upper member 8 is inserted into the groove portion 952b of the second connecting portion 952.
[0076] The boundary portions 41a, 41b, and 42a between the lower member 5 and the upper members 6, 7, and 8 when viewed from the front may be located in the center or lower part in the vertical direction of the first partition member 41 and the second partition member 42. The first upper fixing portion 62 of the first upper member 6 and the second upper fixing portion 72 of the second upper member 7, which are provided on the upper side of the lower member 5 of the first partition member 41, may have different shapes. Connecting members such as the first connecting member 91 and the second connecting member 95 may not be provided between adjacent upper members in the left-right direction.
[0077] The configuration does not have to involve the insertion of the first rib 511 of the lower member 5 into the groove 65 of the upper members 6, 7, and 8. For example, the ribs provided on the upper members 6, 7, and 8 may be inserted into grooves provided on the lower member 5. Ribs or grooves are not required to fix the upper members 6, 7, and 8 to the lower member 5.
[0078] As shown in Figure 33, kitchen unit 1B may have a fifth drawer 315 on the upper side of the third storage section 21c and a dishwasher 34B on the lower side. This dishwasher 34B is a shallow dishwasher with a smaller height dimension than the dishwasher 34 in the above embodiment. The fifth drawer 315 is located below the countertop 25. In this case, as shown in Figure 34, a partition 43 may be provided between the fifth drawer 315 and the countertop 25. One end of the partition 43 in the left-right direction is fixed to the first dishwasher partition wall 271. The other end of the partition 43 in the left-right direction is fixed to the second dishwasher partition wall 272. The partition 43 has a configuration in which a second upper member 7 is fixed on a lower member 5. The lower member 5 is the same as the first partition 41 and second partition 42 in the above embodiment. The second upper member 7 is a member positioned below the grill 321 in the first partition member 41. The second upper partition portion 71 of the second upper member 7 is positioned along the lower surface of the top plate portion 25.
[0079] As shown in Figures 34 and 35, the kitchen unit 1C may have a fifth drawer 315 on the upper side of the third storage section 21c and a sixth drawer 316 on the lower side. In this case, a partition material 4C may also be provided between the fifth drawer 315 and the sixth drawer 316. The partition material 4C is provided across the entire left-right direction of the kitchen unit body 2. The partition material 4C is positioned in the notches 271a formed on the front edge of the first dishwasher partition wall 271 and the notches 272a formed on the front edge of the second dishwasher partition wall 272. As a result, the partition material 4C does not interfere with the first dishwasher partition wall 271 and the second dishwasher partition wall 272.
[0080] The partition material 4C is fixed to the lower member 5, which is provided across the entire left-right direction of the kitchen unit body 2, with one of the first upper member 6, second upper member 7, and third upper member 8 being fixed as appropriate. In kitchen unit 1C, a seventh drawer section 317 is provided in place of the grill 321. In this case, the partition material 4C is fixed to the lower member 5, which is provided across the entire left-right direction of the kitchen unit body 2, with the first upper member 6 and the third upper member 8 being fixed. The first upper member 6 is positioned between the seventh drawer section 317 and the third drawer section 313 of the first storage section 21a, and between the fifth drawer section 315 and the sixth drawer section 316 of the second storage section 21b. The third upper member 8 is positioned between the kitchen sink 33 and the fourth drawer section 314 of the third storage section 21c. [Explanation of Symbols]
