10. The fishing tackle according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the biased spring is a coiled portion, and the profile of the hole in the coil lies in the same longitudinal plane as the fishing tackle.

11. The fishing tackle according to claim 10, wherein the coil portion has one or more rings, and the profile of each ring lies in the same plane as the longitudinal axis of the fishing tackle.

12. The fishing lure according to any one of claims 10 to 11, wherein the hole in the coil is adapted to receive a fishing line inside it.

13. The fishing lure according to claim 12, wherein the size of the coil may be of a predetermined diameter so as to enable the fishing lure to be used within a range of tension.

14. The fishing lure according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein the handle shank portion may be of a predetermined length to enable the fishing lure to be used within a range of clamping force for moving the fishing lure from the closed configuration to the open configuration.

15. The fishing gear according to any one of claims 1 to 14, wherein the biased spring has a first end and a second end, the first end of the first elongated member is connected to the second end of the biased spring, and the first end of the second elongated member is connected to the first end of the biased spring.

16. The fishing lure according to any one of claims 1 to 15, wherein the length of the first shank portion and the length of the second shank portion are curved.

17. The fishing tackle according to claim 16, wherein the length of the first shank portion and the length of the second shank portion have a convex profile.

18. The fishing tackle according to any one of claims 1 to 17, wherein the fishing tackle is constructed from a material selected from the group consisting of stainless steel, high carbon steel, vanadium alloy steel, and galvanized steel.

19. The fishing tackle according to any one of claims 1 to 18, wherein the first fishing hook and the second fishing hook each have a barb that protrudes from the surface of the fishing hook.
