Benzimidazole and related analogues for inhibiting YAP / TAZ-TEAD

Abstract

This disclosure relates to a novel compound, more specifically for use as a pharmaceutical, for the prevention or treatment of diseases mediated by the activity of YAP / TAZ-TEAD transcription, and more specifically for the prevention or treatment of cancer or fibrosis. This disclosure also relates to a method for the prevention or treatment of such diseases, including the use of the novel compound. This disclosure further relates to a pharmaceutical composition or formulation of the novel compound, and more preferably for use as a pharmaceutical, for the prevention or treatment of diseases mediated by the activity of YAP / TAZ-TEAD transcription, and more specifically for the prevention or treatment of cancer or fibrosis. This disclosure also relates to a process for the preparation of the compound.
