Abstract

This application provides a casing, a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical device. The casing has a casing opening along the end in a first direction, and the casing includes a first side plate and a second side plate arranged along the circumferential direction of the casing opening, and a connecting plate is connected to the first side plate and the second side plate, and at least a portion of the outer surface of the connecting plate includes an arcuate surface, and the connecting plate includes a first plate portion and a second plate portion, and in the first direction, the second plate portion is located on the side of the first plate portion that is close to the casing opening. Here, the maximum thickness of the second plate portion is greater than or equal to the maximum thickness of the first plate portion. Embodiments of this application can reduce the risk of deformation of the casing due to factors such as expansion stress of the electrode assembly or cracking or breakage due to vibration of the battery cell at the welding position between the second plate portion and the end cap, thereby improving the reliability of use of the battery cell.
