Abstract

Network entities associated with a virtual cloud network are migrated through a certificate bundle distribution process to distribute new certificate authority certificates to the network entities. The operation may include, with respect to each network entity, performing a first operation associated with the first phase of the process; for each specific network entity, obtaining individual entity information associated with the progress of that particular network entity in relation to the first phase; calculating an aggregate metric indicating the aggregate progress of the network entities in relation to the first phase based on the individual entity information; determining, based on the aggregate metric, that one or more migration criteria are met to migrate the network entity from the first phase to the second phase of the process; and performing a second operation associated with the second phase of the process with respect to each network entity.
