Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a leg cover and a cover body. [Background technology]
[0002] A recent item of leg fashion is a leg cover that covers the legs from above the knee to the heel. The leg cover is spaced away from the body and covers the relevant parts without constricting the body, preventing the shape of the legs from being exposed.
[0003] The leg cover is formed in a tubular shape with a length from above the knee to the heel, and is worn by engaging with a supporter attached to the leg. The outer surface of the leg cover is provided with a plurality of button holes, and a plurality of buttons are provided on the circumference of the outer surface of the supporter. The leg cover is worn by first putting the supporter on above the knee, then inserting the leg into the leg cover up to above the knee, and finally engaging the buttons of the supporter with the button holes of the leg cover. The leg cover has the advantage that when worn, the upper part of the leg cover does not narrow, a beautiful shape can be achieved while maintaining an appropriate gap between the leg and the leg, and the leg cover does not easily slip down.
[0004] Patent Document 1 discloses a leg cover which has a supporter that is worn on the knee or above the knee and has a number of buttons to which a leg cover can be attached, and on the lower inner surface near the upper end of the leg cover, there is a buttonhole through which the button on the supporter can be inserted. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Registered Utility Model No. 3164938
[0006] However, as shown in Fig. 7, the conventional leg cover described in Patent Document 1 sometimes could not keep the opening at the upper end in a circular shape due to the upper end becoming loose. Also, the upper end could be rolled up due to leg movement, causing the supporter to be visible. Also, the fabric could wrinkle or slacken around the part where the supporter is engaged due to the concentrated load on the fabric. Furthermore, the wrinkles and slack in the fabric at the upper end could cause wrinkles and slack in the entire leg cover.
[0007] On the other hand, if an attempt was made to provide a lining to reinforce the leg covers in order to prevent these problems, the shape of the lining would stand out on the surface of the leg covers, adversely affecting their appearance, making it impossible to use a lining.
[0008] The above problem becomes more pronounced when the leg cover is made of a stretchable knit fabric, a thin fabric, etc. This narrows the range of fabric choices for the leg cover, restricting the increase in the variety of leg covers. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0009] An object of the present invention is to provide a leg cover capable of maintaining a circular opening at the upper end, regardless of the material, without adversely affecting the appearance of the outer surface. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] As a result of extensive creative work, the inventors have discovered that by providing the cover member with a shape-retaining member having a tapered cylindrical shape, it is possible to maintain the characteristic shape of the cover member without adversely affecting the appearance of the front side of the cover member.
[0011] The leg cover according to the present disclosure is a leg cover that covers the part of the leg from above the knee down without constricting the leg, and includes a cylindrical cover member through which the part of the leg is inserted and covers the leg without constricting it, a supporter that is worn at or above the knee and engages the cover member, and a shape-retaining member that is provided inside the cover member and has a tapered cylindrical shape.
[0012] The cover body of the present disclosure is a cover body used for a leg cover, and includes a cylindrical cover member into which the portion of the leg is inserted to cover the leg without tightening it, and a shape-retaining member provided inside the cover member and having a tapered cylindrical shape, and when folded, the upper end of the cover member has an upwardly convex arc shape.
[0013] According to the present disclosure, the leg cover has a shape-retaining member that is cylindrical with a tapered shape, and therefore the shape can be maintained by itself, and the cylindrical cover member provided with this shape-retaining member can maintain its shape. In addition, by providing the shape-retaining member on the inside of the upper end of the leg cover, it is possible to maintain the shape of the opening at the upper end in a circular shape. Furthermore, by providing the shape-retaining member so that the small diameter end faces downward and fixing it to the cover member only at the large diameter end, the shape of the part of the shape-retaining member other than the large diameter end does not stand out on the surface of the cover member, and it is possible to avoid adversely affecting the appearance of the outer surface of the cover member. In addition, the cover body is engaged with a supporter worn on or above the knee to form a leg cover, and the same effect can be achieved. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the leg cover according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a leg cover according to an embodiment of the present disclosure in a worn state. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a shape-retaining member according to this embodiment. FIG. 3 is a view showing a curved flat rubber member according to this embodiment. FIG. 4 is a view showing the fixing of the shape-retaining member to a cover member according to this embodiment. FIG. 5 is a side view showing the engagement of the leg cover according to this embodiment with a supporter. FIG. 6 is a view showing a folded state of the cover body according to this embodiment. In the following description, the vertical direction of the leg cover in FIG. 1 may be referred to as the "vertical direction", and the direction around the leg of the leg cover may be referred to as the "circumferential direction". In addition, in the following description, the short side direction of the flat rubber member in FIG. 3 may be referred to as the "width direction" and the long side direction as the "length direction".
[0016] <Leg cover> As shown in FIG. 1, the leg cover 1 covers the part of the leg from above the knee down, away from the body. That is, when the wearer stands upright, there is a gap between the cover member 100 and the body. Also, the cover member 100 does not tighten the leg, and the shape of the leg does not appear on the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100. The leg cover 1 includes the cover member 100, a shape retaining member 200, and a supporter 300. The cover member 100 and the shape retaining member 200 constitute the cover body 10. The leg cover 1 is worn by inserting the leg L into the cover body 10 and engaging with the supporter 300 attached above the knee K. The leg cover 1 is worn, for example, when wearing short pants. In the following description, the cover member 100 and the shape retaining member 200 will be described first, then the overall structure of the cover member 10 will be described, and then the supporter 300 will be described.
[0017] <Cover material> The cover member 100 is tubular in shape, and the leg L is inserted therethrough to cover the leg L without tightening it. The cover member 100 has a length extending from above the knee K to the heel U and foot F. The cover member 100 is formed from a sheet-like material into a tubular shape, and each end 102, 104 of the tubular shape is an opening. The cover member 100 is formed by sewing the ends of two pieces of fabric together. The cover member 100 may be formed from a single piece of fabric.
[0018] The cover member 100 is preferably cylindrical. The cover member 100 is not limited to a cylindrical shape having a uniform diameter in the vertical direction, and the diameter may vary depending on the position in the vertical direction. For example, the upper end 102 and the lower end 104 of the cover member 100 may have a larger diameter than the other portions.
[0019] As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the cover member 100 is provided with a plurality of buttonholes 110 on the circumference of the outer surface 106. The buttonholes 110 engage with buttons 310 attached to the supporter 300. The buttonholes 110 are elongated in the vertical direction of the cylinder. The buttonholes 110 are provided at three locations at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction. The plurality of buttonholes 110 are provided at the same height in the vertical direction of the cover member 100. Here, the buttonholes 110 are provided at a position where the upper end of the elongated hole shape coincides with or partially overlaps with the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200 of the cover member 100. The position and number of the buttonholes 110 can be changed in consideration of ease of use and design, as long as the function of the leg cover 1 is not impaired.
[0020] The cover member 100 may be provided with a hook-and-loop fastener, not limited to the buttonhole 110. In this case, the hook-and-loop fastener of the cover member 100 engages with the hook-and-loop fastener provided on the supporter 300.
[0021] The sheet-like material constituting the cover member 100 includes fabric materials. The fabric material of the cover portion 100 is not particularly limited, but may be a thick fabric material such as denim, or may be a stretchy knit fabric or a thin fabric material. In addition to the above, the fabric material of the cover member 100 may be a soft material with little stiffness, which is difficult to maintain its shape by itself when formed into a cylindrical shape. The fabric material of the cover member 100 may be a woven fabric such as sheeting fabric or satin fabric, or a knitted fabric such as knitted fabric or smooth fabric.
[0022] The fabric material of the cover member 100 may be composed of lace fabric, leather fabric, vinyl fabric, etc., in addition to woven fabric and knitted fabric. Examples of woven fabrics used as the fabric material of the cover member 100 include broadcloth, sheeting fabric, oxford fabric, canvas fabric, quilted fabric, twill fabric, twill fabric, satin fabric, and taffeta fabric. Examples of knitted fabrics used as the fabric material of the cover member include plain fabric, milling fabric, smooth fabric, jacquard fabric, pile fabric, rib knit fabric, cardboard fabric, kanoko fabric, compressed knit fabric, and lace fabric. Examples of materials other than the fabric material of the cover member 100 include leather material and vinyl material.
[0023] <Shape retaining material> The shape-retaining member 200 shown in Fig. 2 is fixed to the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100, and keeps the opening 103 of the upper end portion 102 in a circular shape. The shape-retaining member 200 has a tapered cylindrical shape, and is provided with a large diameter end portion 202 at one end and a small diameter end portion 204 having a smaller diameter than the large diameter end portion 202 at the other end. The large diameter end portion 202 and the small diameter end portion 204 are each an opening. The large diameter end portion 202 and the small diameter end portion 204 are connected by a uniform tapered surface.
[0024] The diameter of the small diameter end 204 of the tapered cylindrical shape of the shape retaining member 200 is a dimension that allows the leg L to be inserted therethrough. The diameter of the large diameter end 202 of the shape retaining member 200 is the same as the diameter of the inner periphery 108 at the upper end 102 of the cover member 100. The diameter of the small diameter end 204 is smaller than the diameter of the inner periphery 108 of the cover member 100.
[0025] The shape-retaining member 200 is made of so-called flat rubber, which is an elastic material. The flat rubber can be 40 mm wide. The flat rubber can be woven or knitted. Here, "flat rubber" refers to a straight rubber cord with a rectangular cross section and has elasticity in the length direction. The flat rubber is formed by weaving a plurality of polyurethane threads (warp threads) arranged in the width direction with nylon threads. The polyurethane threads are so-called polyurethane elastic threads made of elastic fibers made of ether-based or ester-based polyurethane. The shape-retaining member 200 does not have to be made of flat rubber, and a material having elasticity equivalent to that of flat rubber or a material having a shape memory function can also be used.
[0026] The shape-retaining member 200 is formed by processing a straight-line flat rubber into the flat rubber member 210 shown in Fig. 3, and then sewing the flat rubber member into a ring shape. A method for forming the shape-retaining member 200 will be described below.
[0027] First, a method for forming the flat rubber member 210 will be described. For a flat rubber cut to a predetermined length, only one end side 212 in the width direction is heated over the entire length in the length direction to heat shrink the one end side 212 in the width direction to a predetermined length, and the other end side 214 is double-oversewn over the entire length in the length direction. By oversewn the other end side 214 of the flat rubber, the other end side 214 is reinforced and can maintain its original length. The flat rubber becomes shorter than its original length at the one end side 212, while the other end side 214 remains the same as its original length, so that the flat rubber becomes curved with the one end side 212 facing inwards as a whole. The radius of curvature at the other end side 214 of the flat rubber member 210 is about 21 cm. The heating temperature when heat shrinking the flat rubber is about 180°C. The heating is performed, for example, by pressing an iron against the flat rubber. In this manner, the flat rubber member 210 is formed.
[0028] Next, as shown in FIG. 2, two flat rubber members 210A, 210B are connected at their ends in the length direction to form one ring. The two flat rubber members 210A, 210B are connected at two sewn portions 220A, 220B, which are sewn with seams 222. Here, the two flat rubber members 210A, 210B are connected with their one end sides 212 facing each other. The two connected flat rubber members 210A, 210B have a tapered cylindrical shape. The two connected flat rubber members 210A, 210B have a circular shape when viewed from above. In this manner, the shape-retaining member 200 is formed.
[0029] <Cover body structure> The structure of the cover body 10 will be described below. As shown in Fig. 4, the cover body 10 includes a cover member 100 and a shape retaining member 200. The cover body 10 includes the shape retaining member 200 inside the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100. The cover body 10 includes the shape retaining member 200 along the cylindrical inner circumference of the cover member 100. Also, as shown in Fig. 5, the cover body 10 includes the shape retaining member 200 with the large diameter end portion 202 facing the upper end side of the cover member 100 and the small diameter end portion 204 of the shape retaining member 200 facing the lower end side of the cover member 100.
[0030] The large diameter end 202 of the shape retaining member 200 is sewn to the inside of the upper end 102 of the cover member 100. Here, the diameter of the outer periphery 206 of the large diameter end 202 of the shape retaining member 200 is approximately the same as the diameter of the inner periphery 108 of the upper end 102 of the cover member 100. As shown in FIG. 4, the shape retaining member 200 is provided so that its upper end is located at a position a predetermined length below the upper end of the cover member 100. Furthermore, a seam 102a is formed at a position a predetermined length below the upper end of the shape retaining member 200. Note that the shape retaining member 200 does not have to be formed in a tapered cylindrical shape in advance, and may be formed into a tapered cylindrical shape when sewn to the cover member 100 while the rubber member 210 is in a curved shape.
[0031] On the other hand, the portion of the shape retaining member 200 other than the upper end portion 202 is not sewn to the cover member 100. That is, in the leg cover 1, the cover member 100 and the shape retaining member 200 are fixed only at the upper end portions 102, 202. As a result, when the wearer is standing upright, the portion of the shape retaining member 200 other than the large diameter side end portion 202 has a gap with respect to the inner circumference 108 of the cover member 100 and is not in contact with it.
[0032] The cover body 10 can be folded by folding the two sewn parts 220. Since the shape-retaining member 200 is formed from a curved rubber member 210, in the folded state, the upper end portion 102 of the leg cover 1 becomes an upwardly convex arc shape with a radius of curvature of about 21 cm (see FIG. 6).
[0033] <Effects of shape-retaining materials> The effect of providing the leg cover 1 with the shape-retaining member 200 on the cover member 100 will be described. The shape-retaining member 200 has a tapered cylindrical shape, and can maintain its shape by itself. Since the cover member 100 is provided with the shape-retaining member 200 inside the upper end portion 102, the opening 103 of the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100 can be maintained in a circular shape.
[0034] Even if a load is applied to a part of the upper end 102 of the cover member 100, the shape-retaining member 200 made of a rubber member absorbs the load by its elasticity, so that the leg cover 1 can maintain the circular shape of the opening 103. Even if the upper end 202 of the leg cover 1 is twisted by the wearer crouching, the elasticity of the shape-retaining member 200 allows the leg cover 1 to return to its original shape, so that the circular shape of the opening 103 can be maintained.
[0035] Since the shape-retaining member 200 has a tapered cylindrical shape and is sewn to the cover member 100 only at the large diameter end 202, no part of the shape-retaining member 200 other than the large diameter end 202 comes into contact with the inner circumference 108 of the cover member 100. This prevents the shape of the shape-retaining member 200 from protruding from the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100, and allows the shape-retaining effect to be exerted.
[0036] Since the shape-retaining member 200 is made of an elastic material, it can be folded flat when not being worn. This allows it to be folded up into a small size for storage or carrying, and does not require a large storage space.
[0037] <Supporter> The supporter 300 fastens the cover body 10 to the leg L. The supporter 300 is attached to a position above the knee K by pressing against the leg L.
[0038] The supporter 300 is a cylindrical member made of a stretchable material. The supporter 300 is stretchable in the circumferential direction and is worn by surrounding and compressing the leg L. The leg L is inserted into the cylindrical interior of the supporter 300 and worn in a predetermined position. The supporter 300 adheres closely to the leg L due to its stretchability, and remains in the worn position due to friction with the leg L.
[0039] Furthermore, the supporter 300 is not limited to being made of a stretchable material, and may be made of an elastic material. In this case, the supporter 300 has a generally cylindrical shape with an opening in a portion in the circumferential direction. The diameter of the supporter 300 can be adjusted by the opening, and when the supporter 300 is expanded beyond a predetermined opening, a restoring force is generated due to the elasticity of the material. The leg L is inserted inside the supporter 300, and the supporter 300 is worn by compressing the leg L at a predetermined position.
[0040] The supporter 300 has buttons 310 at three positions spaced apart at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction. Here, the positions of the buttons 310 correspond to the positions of the button holes 110 of the cover member 100. The buttons 310 are attached to the surface of the supporter 300 via a cylindrical portion 312. The buttons 310 are vertically spaced apart from the surface of the supporter 300 by a predetermined distance by the cylindrical portion 312. The buttons 310 are configured as so-called tuck buttons. That is, the buttons 310 have a protruding portion 312 protruding from the back surface at the center of the back surface. The protruding portion 312 has a cylindrical shape with a diameter smaller than that of the button 310. The cylindrical portion 312 has a hole at the tip of the cylindrical shape. The buttons 310 are attached by driving rivets into the holes from the opposite surface side of the fabric of the supporter 300. The supporter 300 is not limited to the buttons 310, and may have a hook-and-loop fastener.
[0041] A comparative example will be described below. <Comparative Example 1> FIG. 8 shows a leg cover with a folded lining as Comparative Example 1. The leg cover according to Comparative Example 1 is made by cutting out the fabric of the cover member including the folded lining, sewing it into a tube (see FIG. 8(a)), and then folding the lining part inward and hanging it down (see FIG. 8(b)). FIG. 8(c) shows the leg cover when worn. As shown in FIG. 8(c), even if the upper end opens when worn, the opening of the upper end does not become circular because the fabric of the lining part does not have enough firmness or strength. Even if a part of the upper end is rolled up, such as when bending the knee, the fabric of the lining part does not have enough firmness or strength, so it cannot return to its original shape and remains rolled up. In addition, the load of the cover member is directly applied to the buttonhole, so wrinkles are generated around the buttonhole. In addition, wrinkles and slack are generated in the cover member between the buttonholes in the circumferential direction, and wrinkles and slack are generated in the cover member as a whole.
[0042] <Comparative Example 2> FIG. 9 shows, as Comparative Example 2, a leg cover using a member (see FIG. 9(b)) made by sewing a straight-line flat rubber band (see FIG. 9(a)) into a ring shape as is. The member is formed in a cylindrical shape with no taper. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 9(c), when a load is applied to part of the upper end of the cover member, the load is not distributed throughout the member, causing partial slackness and distortion at the opening at the upper end, preventing a perfect circular shape. Furthermore, the distortion of the opening causes wrinkles and slackness throughout the cover member. Also, since the member formed from flat rubber band is cylindrical rather than tapered, the shape of the member stands out on the front side of the cover member, marring its aesthetic appearance.
[0043] The effects of each aspect of the present disclosure will be described below. <First aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the first aspect of the present disclosure is a leg cover 1 that covers the part of the leg L from above the knee down without constricting the leg, and includes a cylindrical cover member 100 through which the leg L is inserted and that covers the leg L without constricting it, a supporter 300 that is worn on the knee or above the knee and engages the cover member 100, and a shape-retaining member 200 that is provided inside the cover member 100 and has a tapered cylindrical shape. According to the first aspect, the leg cover 1 is attached by engaging the cover member 100 with the supporter 300 attached to the knee of the leg L or above the knee, so that the leg L can be worn without being constricted. In addition, since the cover member 100 is cylindrical, the leg L can be inserted inside and the inserted leg L can be covered. Since the cover member 100 covers the leg L without constricting it, the shape of the leg L does not protrude from the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100. In addition, the leg cover 1 includes the shape retaining member 200 inside the cover member 100, which is a tapered cylindrical shape and can retain its shape by itself, so that the cover member 100 can maintain its shape without the shape retaining member 200 being visible from the outside. This allows the leg cover 1 to be configured regardless of the material of the cover member 100 and without adversely affecting the appearance of the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100. Furthermore, the leg cover 1 is provided with the shape-retaining member 200 on the inside of the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100, so that the opening 103 of the upper end portion 102 can be kept in a circular shape. <Second aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the second aspect of the present disclosure includes a shape-retaining member 200 along the inner periphery of the cover member 100 in the first aspect. According to the second aspect, the leg cover 1 includes the shape-retaining member 200 along the inner circumference of the cover member 100, and therefore the tapered cylindrical shape of the shape-retaining member 200 can maintain the cylindrical shape of the cover member 100. <Third aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the third aspect of the present disclosure is provided with a shape-retaining member 200 at the upper end 102 of the cylindrical shape of the cover member 100 in the first or second aspect. According to the third aspect, the leg cover 1 includes the shape-retaining member 200 at the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100, so that the opening 103 at the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100 can be kept in a circular shape. <Fourth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the fourth aspect of the present disclosure, in any one of the first to third aspects, has a shape-retaining member 200 oriented such that the larger diameter side of the tapered cylindrical shape is the upper end side of the cover member 100 and the smaller diameter side of the shape-retaining member 200 is the lower end side of the cover member 100. According to the fourth aspect, the leg cover 1 has the shape retaining member 200 oriented such that the larger diameter side is the upper end side of the cover member 100 and the smaller diameter side is the lower end side of the cover member 100, so that when worn, the shape retaining member 200 cannot be seen from the outside through the opening 103 of the upper end portion 102. Also, by attaching the shape retaining member 200 only at the large diameter side end portion 202 inside the upper end portion 102 of the cover member 100, it is possible to prevent the shape of the portion of the shape retaining member 200 other than the large diameter side end portion 202 from protruding from the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100. <Fifth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the fifth aspect of the present disclosure is any one of the first to fourth aspects, in which the shape-retaining member 200 is fixed to the cover member 100 only at the large diameter side end portion 202 of the tapered cylindrical shape. According to the fifth aspect, the leg cover 1 is fixed to the cover member 100 only at the large diameter end 202 of the shape-retaining member 200, and since the shape-retaining member 200 has a tapered cylindrical shape, any part other than the large diameter end 202 does not come into contact with the inner circumference 108 of the cover member 100. Therefore, the shape-retaining member 200 does not adversely affect the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100 other than at the upper end 102 of the cover member 100. <Sixth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the sixth aspect of the present disclosure is any one of the first to fifth aspects, in which the cover member 100 and the supporter 300 are engaged with each other by one or more buttons 310, and the cover member 100 has a buttonhole 110 for engaging with the button 310 provided on the supporter 300, in a position where the upper end of the buttonhole 110 coincides with or partially overlaps with the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200. According to the sixth aspect, the leg cover 1 has a buttonhole 110 for engaging the cover member 100 with one or more buttons provided on the supporter, and therefore can be engaged with the supporter 300 and the button 310. Also, the cover member 100 has the buttonhole 110 at a position where the upper end of the buttonhole 110 coincides with or partially overlaps with the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200 fixed to the cover member 100, and therefore the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200 can be placed on the protruding portion 312 of the button 310. That is, since the shape-retaining member 200 is supported by the button 310, the load of the cover member 100 related to the shape-retaining member 200 can be received and distributed by the supporter 300 via the button 310. This can prevent wrinkles and slack from occurring between the upper end 102 of the cover member 100 and the buttonhole 110. <Seventh aspect> The leg cover 1 according to a seventh aspect of the present disclosure is the leg cover 1 of any one of the first to sixth aspects, in which the cover member 100 is made of a stretchable knit material or thin fabric. According to the seventh aspect, the leg cover 1 can be made of a stretchy knit material or thin fabric, which cannot be used for lining because it is too soft and the shape of the lining stands out on the surface of the leg cover, adversely affecting the appearance, but the shape-retaining member 200 can keep the opening 103 in a circular shape without providing a lining, and the appearance is not adversely affected, so that it can be used as the fabric for the cover member 100. This makes it possible to configure the cover member 100 from more materials and increase the variety of leg covers. <Eighth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to an eighth aspect of the present disclosure is configured in such a manner that in any one of the first to seventh aspects, the shape-retaining member 200 is made of an elastic material. According to the eighth aspect, in the leg cover 1, since the shape retaining member 200 is made of an elastic material, even if a load is applied to a part of the upper end portion 102 of the covering member 100, the load can be absorbed by the elasticity of the shape retaining member 200, so that the opening 103 of the covering member 100 can be kept in a circular shape. Also, even if a part of the upper end portion 102 of the covering member 100 is bent, the elasticity of the shape retaining member 200 allows it to be restored to its original circular shape. <Ninth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the ninth aspect of the present disclosure is configured in such a manner that the shape-retaining member 200 in the eighth aspect includes two rubber members 210 each having a curved shape. According to the ninth aspect, the leg cover 1 is configured such that the shape-retaining member 200 includes two curved rubber members 210, and the two rubber members 210 can be formed into a tapered cylindrical shape by sewing the ends in the longitudinal direction and connecting them into a ring shape. <Tenth aspect> The leg cover 1 according to the tenth aspect of the present disclosure is capable of being folded flat in the eighth aspect. According to the tenth aspect, the leg cover 1 can be folded flat when not being worn because the shape-retaining member 200 is made of an elastic member. This allows the leg cover 1 to be folded flat when stored or carried, and does not require a large storage space. Because the shape-retaining member 200 is a tapered cylindrical shape formed by two curved flat rubber members 210, the upper end 202 of the leg cover 1 has an upwardly convex arc shape, allowing the leg cover 1 to be folded flat. <Eleventh aspect> The cover body according to the eleventh aspect of the present disclosure is a cover body used for a leg cover, and includes a cylindrical cover member 100 into which the portion of the leg L is inserted and which covers the leg L without tightening it, and a shape-retaining member 200 provided inside the cover member 100 and having a tapered cylindrical shape, and when folded, the upper end of the cover member 100 forms an upwardly convex arc shape. According to the eleventh aspect, the cover body is worn by engaging with the supporter 300 worn on or above the knee, thereby forming the leg cover of the first aspect and achieving the same effect.
