[0001] The present invention relates to an improvement in a bracket used to hold an in-vehicle device. [Background technology]
[0002] Patent document 1 shows a bracket having left and right columnar support parts that protrude downward from a base part fixed to the window glass, each of which has a retaining piece that allows the vehicle-mounted camera to be moved upward by elastic deformation and elastically returns to its original position to engage with the vehicle-mounted camera at the end of the movement. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-128136 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, the vehicle-mounted device held by this type of bracket may need to be replaced or repaired, and in such cases, it is necessary to remove the device from the bracket. In the case of the device in Patent Document 1, when removing the device, it is necessary to perform an operation to elastically deform the holding piece to release the engagement with the vehicle-mounted camera.
[0005] The main problem that this invention is intended to solve is how to provide this type of bracket with a structure that makes it easy to remove the vehicle-mounted device in a rational and appropriate manner. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a bracket for an in-vehicle device, which is a bracket for holding an in-vehicle device at a predetermined location on a vehicle body, and which includes a receiving portion formed on a side opposite to the fixed side of a base portion fixed to the vehicle body so as to protrude from the base portion, and which receives and holds the in-vehicle device on its inside, The receiving portion has a retaining piece that is formed of a part of an inner surface of the receiving portion, that allows the receiving of the in-vehicle device by elastic deformation, and that engages an engaging portion with a held portion formed on the in-vehicle device by elastic return at a completion position of the receiving; Between the protruding end of the receiving portion and the base portion, there is provided an exposure recess which exposes at least one of two thickness side portions adjacent to the forming side portion of the engaging portion as the inner surface portion of the retaining piece.
[0007] According to this configuration, firstly, the state in which the on-board device is received in the receiving section can be maintained by the holding piece, which allows the receiving by elastic deformation and engages the engaging part with the held part of the on-board device by elastic return at the receiving end position. This allows the on-board device to be installed in a predetermined location on the vehicle body via the bracket. Secondly, by operating the holding piece using the tip of a tool or the like to elastically deform the holding piece, the engagement with the held part can be released, and the on-board device can be removed from the receiving part and removed from the vehicle body. The exposure recess makes the holding piece easy to see, and the operation of elastically deforming the holding piece can be easily performed using the tip of a tool or the like.
[0008] One aspect of the present invention is to form the exposure recess in a columnar portion which constitutes a part of the receiving portion and which has an inner surface portion and an adjacent side portion, by cutting off a virtual corner where a virtual first plane including the inner surface portion meets a virtual second plane including the adjacent side portion.
[0009] Furthermore, one aspect of the present invention is that the engagement of the engaging portion with the held portion is released when the retaining piece is pressed to a position where at least a portion of the forming side portion of the engaging portion of the retaining piece is flush with the bottom surface portion of the exposure recess.
[0010] In addition, one aspect of the present invention is that a portion of the inner surface of the receiving portion is made to be a position regulating portion that is located between the engagement portion and the base portion and faces the held portion at the end position of the receiving.
[0011] Furthermore, one aspect of the present invention is to form a recess between the position regulating portion and a contact surface portion arranged in a direction perpendicular to the position regulating portion and contacting the held portion from the base portion side, to accommodate a corner formed between the side portion of the held portion facing the position regulating portion and a surface portion contacting the abutment surface portion. Effect of the Invention
[0012] According to the present invention, a structure that makes it easy to remove the vehicle-mounted device can be provided to this type of bracket in a rational and appropriate manner. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] Hereinafter, a typical embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 16. A bracket 1 according to this embodiment is for holding an in-vehicle device at a predetermined position on a vehicle body.
[0015] In the illustrated example, the bracket 1 is configured to be suitable for mounting an on-vehicle camera 100, which is an on-vehicle device that captures images of the outside of a vehicle through a window glass of the vehicle, to a front windshield W (see FIG. 13) as the window glass. In the illustrated example, the bracket 1 is used for mounting an on-vehicle camera 100, which captures images of the outside of a vehicle through the front windshield W of an automobile, to the front windshield W.
[0016] In Figures 1 and 13, reference numeral 1 denotes a bracket, and reference numeral 100 denotes an on-board camera. The longitudinal direction of the vehicle is indicated by reference numeral x in Figures 1 and 13, the front side of the vehicle by reference numeral xa in Figures 1 and 13, and the rear side of the vehicle by reference numeral xb in Figures 1 and 13. The left-right direction of the vehicle is indicated by reference numeral y in Figures 1 and 12. The up-down direction is indicated by reference numeral z in Figure 1.
[0017] The front windshield W is inclined downward toward the front side xa of the vehicle. The bracket 1 is fixed to the surface of the front windshield W on the inside of the vehicle. In this embodiment, the bracket 1 is fixed to the front window W, and then the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is slid from the front side xa of the vehicle toward the rear side xb of the vehicle to a predetermined position relative to the bracket 1, and then the front part 100a of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is moved upward to a predetermined position, thereby fitting the vehicle-mounted camera 100 into the bracket 1.
[0018] In the illustrated example, the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is attached to the windshield W via a bracket 1 so that a light incident portion 100b for capturing images faces the front side xa of the vehicle.
[0019] In the illustrated example, the vehicle-mounted camera 100 has a step 100d facing the vehicle front side xa between the front part 100a and the rear part 100c on its upper side, and the light entrance part 100b is provided at this step 100d. The camera body 2b has a smaller dimension in the vertical direction z between the front part 100a and the step 100d, and a larger dimension in the vertical direction z between the step 100d and the rear part 100c.
[0020] The bracket 1 includes a base portion 2 that is fixed to the inner surface of the front windshield W serving as the window glass, and The base portion 2 is provided with a receiving portion 3 formed on the side opposite to the fixed side thereof so as to protrude from the base portion 2, and configured to receive and hold an in-vehicle device therein.
[0021] In addition, the receiving unit 3 A contact portion 4 for a rear portion 100c of the vehicle-mounted camera 100; a support portion 5 that is located forward of the contact portion 4, in the illustrated example, on the front side xa of the vehicle and receives a supported portion 100e of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 from the front; Further forward than the support portion 5, in the illustrated example, a columnar portion 6 is provided on the left and right sides at the front side xa of the vehicle, between which the front portion 100a of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is received.
[0022] The left and right columnar portions 6 have substantially the same structure, and one columnar portion 6 has a shape that is linearly symmetrical with respect to the other columnar portion 6 with respect to a virtual center line L1 (see Figure 2) that runs along the front-rear direction x and passes through the middle of the bracket 1 in the left-right direction y.
[0023] In addition, the bracket 1 is provided with a retaining piece 7 on each of the left and right columnar portions 6, which allows the vehicle-mounted camera 100 to be moved upward on the front part 100a side with the supported part 100e as a fulcrum from a state in which the supported part 100e is accepted by the supporting part 5, by elastic deformation, and which elastically returns to its original position at the end of the moving operation to engage the engaging part 7a with the held part 100f provided on the vehicle-mounted camera 100.
[0024] According to this configuration, by sliding the vehicle-mounted camera 100 to a position where the rear part 100c of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 hits the contact part 4, the supported part 100e can be received from the front side by the supporting part 5. This can reduce the need for special consideration to the alignment when assembling the vehicle-mounted camera 100 to the bracket 1 as much as possible.
[0025] Furthermore, since the left and right columnar portions 6 are each provided with the retaining piece 7, by moving the front portion 100a of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 upward using the supported portion 100e as a fulcrum from a state in which the supported portion 100e is accepted by the supporting portion 5, the vehicle-mounted camera 100 can be held by the bracket 1 in a manner in which rattle in the up-down direction is reduced as much as possible, and the vehicle-mounted camera 100 can be held by the bracket 1 in a manner in which rattle in the left-right direction is reduced as much as possible.
[0026] In the illustrated example, the bracket 1 is an injection-molded product made of synthetic resin, in which the contact portion 4, the support portion 5, and the columnar portion 6 are integrally formed with the base portion 2. The contact portion 4, the support portion 5, and the columnar portion 6 form the receiving portion 3.
[0027] Moreover, the retaining piece 7 is formed from the inner surface 6a of the columnar portion 6 as a part of the inner surface of the receiving portion 3 facing inwardly of the receiving portion 3. This makes it possible to make the bracket 1 into one piece, and to rationally impart the required elastic deformation characteristics to the retaining piece 7.
[0028] The base portion 2 has a plate-like appearance with a substantially rectangular outline in a plan view. The vehicle-mounted camera 100 is received and held in a receiving portion 3 surrounded by a contact portion 4, left and right support portions 5, and left and right columnar portions 6 on the lower surface 2a side of the base portion 2. An opening portion 2b is formed between the front end and the rear end of the base portion 2 to receive the light entrance portion 100b of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 from below.
[0029] A light guiding groove 2d is formed on the upper surface 2c of the base portion 2 between the front end and the open portion 2b, the groove width in the left-right direction z gradually narrowing as it approaches the open portion 2b.
[0030] Of the upper surface 2c of the base portion 2, the area excluding the light guiding groove 2d and the area excluding the support portion 5 and the window hole directly above the columnar portion 6 indicated by reference symbol 2e in Fig. 1 constitutes mostly the mounting surface for the front window W. In the example shown, the bracket 1 is attached to the front window W by adhesion using this mounting surface. The mounting surface is inclined to follow the inclination of the front window W.
[0031] The contact portion 4 is provided at a position about midway in the left-right direction z at the rear end of the base portion 2. In the illustrated example, the contact portion 4 is composed of a rigid rear protrusion 4a protruding downward from the lower surface 2a of the base portion 2, and a springy elastic piece 4b located in front of the rear protrusion 4a. The vehicle-mounted camera 100 is supported between the rear protrusion 4a and a front protrusion indicated by reference symbol 8 in FIG. 2 with its rear portion 100c pressed against the elastic piece 4b and bent slightly rearward, thereby preventing rattling of the vehicle-mounted camera in the front-rear direction x.
[0032] The support portions 5 are provided on the left and right sides of the center line L1 between the contact portion 4 and the columnar portion 6. Each of the left and right support portions 5 includes a base portion 5a that protrudes downward from the lower surface 2a of the base portion 2, and a hook portion 5b that protrudes laterally from the lower end of the base portion 5a toward the center line L1.
[0033] The supported parts 100e of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 are provided on the left and right sides of the rear part 100c of the vehicle-mounted camera 100, respectively, and are fin-shaped continuing in the front-rear direction x. The distance between the protruding ends of the left and right supported parts 100e is substantially equal to the distance between the base parts 5a of the left and right supporting parts 5, and is greater than the distance between the left and right hanging parts 5b. This allows the supporting part 5 to receive the supported part 100e from the front side.
[0034] The columnar portions 6 are provided on the left and right sides of the center line L1 between the open portion 2b and the front end of the base portion 2. The left and right columnar portions 6 are each formed to protrude downward from the lower surface 2a of the base portion 2. More specifically, the columnar portions 6 are hollow rectangular tubes with closed lower ends. An inner surface portion 6a of the columnar portion 6 facing the center line L1 constitutes a part of the inner surface portion of the receiving portion 3. The holding piece 7 is constituted by a part of the inner surface portion 6a of the columnar portion 6.
[0035] In the illustrated example, the columnar portion 6 has an open upper end, which is connected to a window hole 2e formed in the base portion 2. Through this window hole 2e, the interior of the columnar portion 6 can be formed by injection molding.
[0036] Two slit grooves 6c are formed on the inner surface 6a of each of the left and right columnar parts 6, spaced apart in the front-rear direction x, from the lower end 6b (the protruding end of the receiving part 3) of the columnar part 6 to the upper end of the columnar part 6. The space between the two slit grooves 6c functions as the retaining piece 7. The two slit grooves 6c have their upper ends open and communicate with the side window holes 6d described below, and the upper ends of the retaining pieces 7 form free ends 7b.
[0037] Between the upper end of the holding piece 7 and the base portion 2, the inner surface 6a of the columnar portion 6 is cut away, and a side window hole 6d that communicates with the inside of the columnar portion 6 is formed.
[0038] The holding piece 7 has an engagement portion 7a that restricts downward movement of the held portion 100f in the engaged state. Specifically, the engagement portion 7a is configured as a protrusion that protrudes toward the center line L1 below the free end portion 7b of the holding piece 7. The engagement portion 7a has an inclined surface 7d below its apex 7c, the distance from the center line L1 gradually decreasing toward the apex 7c, and has an engagement surface 7e facing upward on the apex 7c.
[0039] The held portion 100f of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is in the form of a fin plate that protrudes from the side of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 in the front-rear direction in front of the step 100d of the vehicle-mounted camera 100. The held portion 100f is formed on the left and right sides of the vehicle-mounted camera 100. The held portion 100f has a plate surface arranged horizontally. The dimension between the side portions 100fa of the left and right held portions 100f facing the position restriction portion 9 described later is smaller than or equal to the distance between the holding pieces 7 of the left and right columnar portions 6 at the lower end 6b side of the left and right columnar portions 6, but is larger than the distance between the holding pieces 7 of the left and right columnar portions 6 at the top 7c position of the engagement portion 7a.
[0040] Therefore, in this embodiment, in a state where the held portion 100f of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is positioned below the engagement portion 7a of the left and right columnar portions 6, the vehicle-mounted camera 100 can be slid and moved so that the corresponding supported portion 100e fits between the hook portion 5b of the left and right support portions 5 of the bracket 1 and the lower surface 2a of the base portion 2 until the rear portion 100c of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 abuts against the abutment portion 4 of the bracket 1. From this state, when the front portion 100a side of the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is moved upward with the supported portion 100e as a fulcrum, the held portion 100f comes into contact with the engagement portion 7a of the holding piece 7 of the columnar portion 6, and the holding piece 7 is elastically deformed, and the vehicle-mounted camera 100 is allowed to move upward on the front portion 100a side until the held portion 100f gets over the engagement portion 7a. The elastic deformation of the holding piece 7 is smooth because the held portion 100f slides over the inclined surface 7d of the engaging portion 7a. When the held portion 100f passes over the engaging portion 7a, the left and right holding pieces 7 are elastically restored in a direction narrowing the distance between them, and the held portion 100f is caught by the engaging surface 7d of the engaging portion 7a from below. This restricts the downward movement of the vehicle-mounted camera 100.
[0041] In addition, in this embodiment, an exposure recess 6e is formed in the columnar portion 6, which forms part of the receiving portion 3, between the protruding end of the receiving portion 3, in the illustrated example, the lower end 6b of the columnar portion 6 and the base portion 2, to expose at least one of two thickness side portions 7g adjacent to the forming side portion 7f of the engagement portion 7a in the retaining piece 7.
[0042] In this embodiment, the columnar portion 6 has an inner surface portion 6a that is substantially parallel to the center line L1, and an adjacent side surface portion 6f that intersects with the inner surface portion 6a. The adjacent side surface portions 6f are present on the front side xa and the rear side xb, respectively, and are surfaces that are perpendicular to the center line L1. The columnar portion 6 also has an outer surface portion 6g on the outside of the inner surface portion 6a, and a lower surface portion 6h at the lower end.
[0043] In this embodiment, the exposure recess 6e is formed in the columnar portion 6 by removing an imaginary corner portion cn where an imaginary first plane s1 including the inner surface portion 6a and an imaginary second plane s2 including the adjacent side surface portion 6f meet (see Figure 6).
[0044] In the illustrated example, the exposure recess 6e is formed in the columnar portion 6 by removing a portion of the inner surface portion 6a and the adjacent side surface portion 6f at a virtual corner cn where a second plane s2 including the adjacent side surface portion 6f located on the rear side xb meets the first plane s1 (see Figure 6).
[0045] The exposure recess 6e reduces the left-right width of the adjacent side portion 6f located at the rear, between the lower end 6b of the columnar portion 6 and the level at which the engagement surface 7e of the engagement portion 7a of the retaining piece 7 is located, when the columnar portion 6 is viewed from the rear side xb (see Figure 4).
[0046] More specifically, the exposure recess 6e forms a bottom surface 6i of the exposure recess 6e that continues in the vertical direction from the lower end 6b of the columnar portion 6 to the level where the engagement surface 7e is located. In the illustrated example, the holding piece 7 has a slope that gradually approaches the center line L1 as it approaches the engagement portion 7a from the lower end 6b side of the columnar portion 6, and the bottom surface 6i also has a first portion 6ia with a slope following this, and a second portion 6ib that is located behind the sloped surface 7e of the engagement portion 7a and has a slope following the slope of the sloped surface 7e.
[0047] In the bracket 1 according to this embodiment, firstly, the state in which the in-vehicle device is received in the receiving portion 3 can be maintained by the holding piece 7, which allows the receiving by elastic deformation and engages the engagement portion 7a with the held portion 100f of the in-vehicle device by elastic return at the receiving end position. This allows the in-vehicle device to be installed at a predetermined location on the vehicle body via the bracket 1. Secondly, by operating the holding piece 7 using the tip of a tool or the like to elastically deform the holding piece 7, the engagement with the held portion 100f can be released, and the in-vehicle device can be removed from the receiving portion 3 and removed from the vehicle body side. The exposure recess 6e makes the holding piece 7 easy to see, and the operation of elastically deforming the holding piece 7 can be easily performed using the tip of a tool or the like.
[0048] In the illustrated example, when viewed from the rear side xb, the portion of the retaining piece 7 located below the retained portion 100f is exposed, along with the forming side portion 7f of the engagement portion 7a and the thickness side portion 7g, allowing the tip of a tool or the like to be brought into contact with the retaining piece 7 from the rear side xb to smoothly elastically deform the retaining piece 7 (see Figure 9).
[0049] In this embodiment, when the holding piece 7 is pressed to a position where at least a part of the formed side surface portion 7f of the engaging portion 7a of the holding piece 7 is flush with the bottom surface portion 6i of the exposing recess 6e, the engagement of the engaging portion 7a with the held portion 100f is released. In the illustrated example, when the holding piece 7 is pressed from a state where the engaging portion 7a of the holding piece 7 is engaged with the held portion 100f of the in-vehicle device (FIG. 15) to a position where the formed side surface portion 7f of the engaging portion 7a of the holding piece 7 directly below the engaging portion 7a is flush with the bottom surface portion 6i of the exposing recess 6e, the engagement is released (FIG. 16).
[0050] In the illustrated example, a rib 6j extending in the vertical direction and projecting from the outer surface 6g toward the inner surface 6a is formed inside the columnar part 6. The holding piece 7 can be pressed toward the inside of the columnar part 6 up to the position where it abuts against this rib 6j (FIG. 16).
[0051] In addition, in this embodiment, a portion of the inner surface of the receiving portion 3 is configured as a position regulating portion 9 that is located between the engaging portion 7a and the base portion 2 and faces the held portion 100f at the end position of the receiving.
[0052] In the illustrated example, the location above the exposure recess 6e on the adjacent side portion 6f on the rear side of the columnar portion 6 and rearward of the free end portion 7b of the retaining piece 7 constitutes a position regulating portion 9 continuing vertically.
[0053] The distance between the position restricting parts 9 on the left and right columnar parts 6 is substantially equal to the distance between the side parts 100fa (protruding ends) of the left and right held parts 100f of the in-vehicle device. This makes it possible to suppress rattling of the in-vehicle device in the left and right direction y by the position restricting parts 9 without providing a separate rattling suppression structure of the in-vehicle device in the left and right direction y.
[0054] In addition, in this embodiment, a recess 11 is formed between the position regulating portion 9 and a contact surface portion 10 arranged perpendicular to the position regulating portion 9 and contacting the held portion 100f from the base portion 2 side, to accommodate a corner portion 100h of the held portion 100f formed between a side portion 100fa of the held portion 100f facing the position regulating portion 9 and a surface portion 100g contacting the abutment surface portion 10.
[0055] In the illustrated example, an abutment surface portion 10 is formed above the position restriction portion 9 on the adjacent side surface portion 6f on the rear side of the columnar portion 6 and continues in the left-right direction.
[0056] As a result, in this embodiment, when the engagement portion 7a of the holding piece 7 is engaged with the held portion 100f of the in-vehicle equipment, the surface portion 100g of the held portion 100f, in the illustrated example, the upper surface portion of the held portion 100f, is brought into close contact with the abutment surface portion 10, making it possible to stably hold the in-vehicle equipment (see Figure 15).
[0057] The provision of elastic deformation characteristics to those portions of bracket 1 described above that should have such characteristics can be easily ensured by making bracket 1 a molded product of plastic.
[0058] Of course, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, but includes all embodiments that can achieve the object of the present invention. [Explanation of symbols]
