Description

[Technical field]

[0001] This application is filed based on a Chinese patent application bearing application number 202110607662.5 and filing date June 1, 2021, and claims priority to the Chinese patent application, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference into this application.

[0002] The present application relates to the field of wireless communication, but is not limited thereto, and in particular to a transmission delay measurement method, a positioning method, a terminal, a base station, and a storage medium. [Background technology]

[0003] With the development of communication technology, positioning function has become an essential function for communication devices. Distance measurement is the core of positioning function, which is generally achieved by measuring the transmission delay between the transmitting and receiving sides. Current commercial base stations and terminals have difficulty in maintaining high consistency in time base, so the International Organization for Standardization has proposed round trip time (RTT) measurement in the relevant standards.

[0004] Since the line of sight (LOS) path is a transmission path when the transmission signal is not reflected, the transmission delay of the LOS path is important information for RTT measurement. However, if the terminal's transmission power is not high, the reference signal transmitted through the LOS path is easily buried by the side lobe, noise and interference of the non-line of sight (NLOS) path.

[0005] To solve this problem, it is common for a terminal to continuously transmit multiple uplink reference signals, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the signal received by the base station to detect the LOS path and measure the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path. However, if the SNR of the uplink reference signal transmitted by the terminal is low, the number of uplink reference signals that need to be transmitted will be large, resulting in larger resource overhead. [0016] In order to more clearly understand the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the present application, the present application will be described in more detail below with reference to the drawings and examples. It should be noted that the specific examples described in this specification are only used to explain the present application and are not used to limit the present application.

[0017] It should be noted that although a functional module division is shown in the schematic diagram of the device and a logical order is shown in the flowchart, in some cases the module division of the device may be different, or the steps shown or described may be performed in an order different from that shown in the flowchart. The terms "first," "second," etc. in the specification, claims, or above drawings are not used to describe a particular order or priority, but are used to distinguish between similar objects.

[0018] The present application provides a transmission delay measurement method, a positioning method, a terminal, a base station, and a storage medium. The transmission delay measurement method includes the steps of: acquiring a downlink reference signal transmitted by a base station, and determining an LOS path and a reference path from a transmission path of the downlink reference signal; acquiring a reference delay difference, which is a difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path; transmitting an uplink reference signal to the base station, so that the base station acquires the uplink transmission delay of the reference path based on the uplink reference signal; and reporting the reference delay difference to the base station, so that the base station obtains the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path based on the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference. According to an embodiment of the present application, one uplink reference signal enables the base station to acquire the uplink transmission delay of the reference path, and the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference can be combined to calculate the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path. This effectively reduces the resource overhead for measuring the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path.

[0019] It should be noted that one of the technical backgrounds targeted by the technical solution of the present application is the technical defect caused by the low transmission power of the terminal. However, even if the transmission power of the terminal is sufficient and the base station can directly extract the signal corresponding to the LOS path from the transmission signal, the method in the embodiment of the present application can be adopted to calculate the parameters of the LOS path by combining the reference delay difference and the parameters of the reference path. This does not limit the technical solution of the present application.

[0020] Hereinafter, the embodiments of the present application will be further described with reference to the drawings.

[0021] As shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 1 is a transmission delay measurement method applied to a terminal according to one embodiment of the present application, and the transmission delay measurement method includes, but is not limited to, steps S110, S120, S130, and S140.

[0022] Step S110: Obtain a downlink reference signal transmitted by a base station, and determine a LOS path and a reference path from the transmission path of the downlink reference signal.

[0023] It should be noted that the downlink reference signal may be a downlink positioning reference signal for positioning, or may adopt other types of signals that allow the terminal to determine each transmission path based on the downlink reference signal. Those skilled in the art have the motivation to select a specific signal type according to actual circumstances, and this embodiment does not particularly limit it.

[0024] However, since the signal transmission power of the base station is generally considered to be sufficient, it is considered that the downlink reference signal received by the terminal is not buried in noise or interference. Based on this, the terminal can directly determine the LOS path from the transmission path of the downlink reference signal in any manner. In this embodiment, the method by which the terminal determines the LOS path is not particularly limited.

[0025] It should be noted that the reference path may be any path other than the LOS path. The purpose of selecting the reference path is to calculate the parameters of the LOS path by combining the parameters of the reference path and the reference delay difference on the basis that the uplink path and the downlink path are the same. Of course, the sameness of the uplink path and the downlink path may be achieved by using the same transmit and receive beams, and is not limited here.

[0026] However, the signal transmission of the LOS path is affected by factors such as the transmission environment and interference. Even if the transmission power of the terminal is increased, the signal power of the LOS path and the interference signal increases in equal proportion, and increasing the number of uplink reference signals increases the resource overhead. In addition, if the SNR of the transmission signal of the LOS path is extremely low, even if the number of uplink reference signals is increased, the base station may have difficulty detecting the transmission signal of the LOS path. Therefore, in this embodiment, a reference path is introduced and the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path is calculated from the reference delay difference between the reference path and the LOS path, thereby saving resource overhead, and by calculating instead of directly measuring, the downlink transmission delay and uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be accurately obtained even if the SNR is extremely low.

[0027] However, if the transmission signal of the LOS path is not buried, the base station may directly measure the uplink transmission delay, or may adopt the technical solution of this embodiment to calculate the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path from the reference delay difference between the LOS path and the reference path, so that the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be reliably obtained by calculating instead of measuring. Those skilled in the art have an incentive to preset the acquisition method of the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path in the base station, and the terminal only needs to transmit the corresponding uplink reference signal according to the acquisition method set in the base station, and this embodiment does not particularly limit it.

[0028] Step S120: Obtain a reference delay difference, which is the difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path.

[0029] The reference delay difference may be the difference obtained by subtracting the downlink transmission delay of the reference path from the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path. The transmission path in the uplink direction and the transmission path in the downlink direction may be the same, so that the reference delay difference on the terminal side and the reference delay difference on the base station side are the same. In this way, by utilizing the characteristic that the signal power of the downlink reference signal received by the terminal is large, the terminal side calculates the reference delay difference, and when the signal power received by the base station is small, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be calculated by simply measuring the uplink reference delay of the reference path together with the reference delay difference. Therefore, according to this embodiment, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be realized with only at least one reference delay difference and one uplink reference signal that enables the base station to recognize the reference path, and the number of uplink reference signals required to measure the RTT is effectively reduced, thereby saving resource overhead.

[0030] Step S130: Send an uplink reference signal to the base station, so that the base station obtains the uplink transmission delay of the reference path based on the uplink reference signal.

[0031] The uplink reference signal may be an uplink positioning reference signal for positioning, for example, a general SRS, and is not particularly limited to this in this embodiment.

[0032] In order for the base station to measure the uplink transmission delay of the reference path, the transmission path with the highest signal power may be set as the reference path, and the uplink transmission delay may be measured by any method, but this embodiment is not particularly limited to this.

[0033] The reference path is selected by the terminal from among the transmission paths and is unknown to the base station. Therefore, the terminal and the base station can agree in advance on a method of identifying the reference path, such as setting the terminal and the base station to transmit and receive signals using the same beam using configuration information and setting the path with the strongest signal power as the reference path, and the present embodiment is not particularly limited to this method.

[0034] Step S140: Report the reference delay difference to the base station, so that the base station obtains the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path according to the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference.

[0035] It should be noted that, according to the description of step S120, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be measured by utilizing the principle that the reference delay difference of the transmission path is the same at both the transmitting and receiving ends. After the base station obtains the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference, the data obtained by adding the two data is the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path.

[0036] It should be noted that the reporting of the reference delay difference may be performed in an appropriate manner according to actual needs. Those skilled in the art can determine the specific reporting method by changing the configuration information of the device. For example, when the signaling resource is sufficient, the terminal may be configured by the configuration information to alternately report through additional signaling, and the base station may be directly notified of the reference delay difference. According to this technical solution, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be obtained by only transmitting one uplink reference signal to the base station so that the base station determines the uplink transmission delay of the reference path, which is advantageous to saving the resource overhead associated with the transmission of the uplink reference signal. In addition, the base station may be configured in advance to report by including the reference delay difference in the uplink reference signal, and modulate one uplink reference signal based on the reference delay difference. When the base station receives this uplink reference signal modulated based on the reference delay difference, it obtains the reference delay difference by measuring the difference between the reference paths in the two uplink reference signals. According to this technical solution, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be measured by only transmitting two uplink reference signals, thereby effectively reducing the resource overhead.

[0037] Also, as shown in FIG. 2, in one embodiment, step S110 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 includes, but is not limited to, step S210 and step S220.

[0038] Step S210: Determine the transmission path that completes the transmission of the downlink reference signal earliest as the LOS path.

[0039] Step S220: Determine the signal reception power of a transmission path of a downlink reference signal, and determine a reference path whose signal reception power is equal to or greater than the signal reception power of the LOS path according to the signal reception power.

[0040] Since the LOS path is a transmission path where the transmission signal is not reflected, it can be determined that the downlink reference signal transmitted through the LOS path reaches the terminal the earliest. In addition, the transmission power of the base station is usually sufficient, and the transmission signal of the LOS path is not buried in noise, so the transmission path of the downlink transmission signal that is received the earliest can be determined as the LOS path.

[0041] The reference path may be any path other than the LOS path, and may be, for example, the path with the largest signal power or the center of gravity of all transmission paths in order to facilitate identification. For example, the center of gravity of the above transmission paths may be a virtual path obtained by multiplying the delay of each transmission path by the signal power and adding the resultant value, and dividing the result by the sum of the signal power of all transmission paths. A specific method for selecting the reference path may be determined according to the status of the transmission signal. In order to reduce resource overhead, only one transmission path may be selected as the reference path, but if resources are sufficient, it is also possible to appropriately increase the number of reference paths to improve the accuracy of data measurement, and this embodiment does not particularly limit this.

[0042] And in one embodiment, the uplink reference signal is an SRS.As shown in Fig. 3, step S130 in the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 further includes, but is not limited to, step S310 and step S320.

[0043] Step S310: A reference SRS is generated.

[0044] Step S320: Send the reference SRS to the base station, so that the base station determines a reference path from the transmission path of the reference SRS.

[0045] It should be noted that in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system, the uplink reference signal is an SRS, which can be generated and transmitted by adopting an SRS arrangement method defined in an existing protocol or standard, so that the delay acquired by the base station through the reference SRS is the true delay, which provides a reference basis for the uplink transmission delay calculation of the subsequent LOS path.

[0046] Also, as shown in FIG. 4, in one embodiment, step S140 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 includes, but is not limited to, step S410 and step S420.

[0047] Step S410: Generate a new reference SRS, and modulate the new reference SRS according to a reference delay difference to obtain a modulated SRS.

[0048] Step S420: Send the modulated SRS to the base station, so that the base station obtains a reference delay difference according to the modulated SRS and the reference SRS, and obtains the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path according to the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference.

[0049] In addition, the method of identifying the reference SRS and the modulated SRS may be preset in the base station. For example, two consecutive OFDM symbols are transmitted by a terminal to the base station in one slot, and the SRS in the first received OFDM symbol is the reference SRS, and the SRS in the second received OFDM symbol is the modulated SRS. Those skilled in the art know how the setting is performed in the base station, so this application will not describe it in detail.

[0050]

[0051] Obtaining the reference delay difference based on the reference SRS and the modulated SRS may be performed by channel characteristic estimation, and the following description will be given by taking the case where both the transmitting and receiving sides use the same transmitting and receiving beams as an example.

[0055] Moreover, as shown in FIG. 5, an embodiment further includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S510 and S520 before performing step S130 of the embodiment shown in FIG.

[0056] Step S510: Determine a receiving beam for a downlink reference signal.

[0057] Step S520: Determine the receiving beam as a transmitting beam for transmitting an uplink reference signal.

[0058] Furthermore, by using the same beam for both the uplink and downlink directions, the relative relationships between the transmission paths can be kept as constant as possible, such as the delay difference between different paths being the same and the signal transmission power being close, thereby reducing measurement errors due to the beam.

[0059] Also, as shown in FIG. 6, in one embodiment, step S140 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S610 and S620.

[0060] Step S610: Generate communication signaling having a reference delay difference.

[0061] Step S620: Send the communication signaling to the base station.

[0062] In addition, since the power of the downlink reference signal received by the terminal side is relatively large, the reference delay difference can be easily measured. According to the above embodiment, the reference delay difference on the terminal side and the base station side is considered to be the same if the characteristics of the transmission paths are the same, so if the signaling resources are sufficient, the reference delay difference may be directly notified to the base station through signaling interaction. When the base station obtains the reference SRS, the base station may obtain the uplink transmission delay of the reference path based on the reference SRS, and obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path by adding the uplink transmission delay and the reference delay difference.

[0063] In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, in one embodiment of the present application, a transmission delay measurement method applied to a base station is also provided, and the transmission delay measurement method includes, but is not limited to, steps S710, S720, and S730.

[0064] Step S710: Send a downlink reference signal to a terminal, so that the terminal determines a LOS path and a reference path from the transmission path of the downlink reference signal.

[0065] Step S720: Obtain an uplink reference signal transmitted by a terminal, and obtain an uplink transmission delay of a reference path according to the uplink reference signal.

[0066] Step S730: Obtain a reference delay difference reported by the terminal, which is a difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path, and obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path based on the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference.

[0067] In addition, the transmission of the downlink reference signal from the base station to the terminal may be triggered by a positioning request, and the positioning request may be initiated by the base station, the terminal, or a positioning server, and this embodiment does not particularly limit this.

[0068] In addition, the method for realizing the uplink transmission delay measurement of the LOS path through the interaction between the base station and the terminal may refer to the description of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, but for the sake of simplicity, it will not be described in detail here.

[0069] The base station and the terminal can obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path by combining the uplink transmission delay of the reference path by agreeing on the reporting manner of the reference delay difference according to the configuration information. However, those skilled in the art are also motivated to perform the relevant configuration in the base station, and first judge the signal strength after receiving the uplink reference signal, for example, set a certain power threshold, or try to obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path. If the signal strength of the uplink reference signal is sufficient to directly obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path, the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path may be directly obtained according to actual needs, or the technical solution of this embodiment may be adopted to calculate the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path by combining the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference, which is not particularly limited in this embodiment.

[0070] Also, as shown in FIG. 8, in one embodiment, the uplink reference signal is an SRS, and step S720 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 further includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S810 and S820.

[0071] Step S810: Obtain a reference SRS transmitted by a terminal.

[0072] Step S820: A reference path is determined from the transmission path of the reference SRS.

[0073] Note that the method for determining the reference path after the base station receives the SRS may refer to the description of the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, but will not be described in detail here for the sake of simplicity.

[0074] Also, as shown in FIG. 9, in one embodiment, step S730 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 further includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S910 and S920.

[0075] Step S910: Obtain a modulated SRS and a reference SRS transmitted by a terminal, and the modulated SRS is obtained by a new reference SRS generated by being modulated based on a reference delay difference by the terminal.

[0076] Step S920: Obtain a reference delay difference based on the modulated SRS and the reference SRS.

[0077] Note that, for a method of obtaining the reference delay difference based on the modulated SRS and the reference SRS, the description of the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 may be referred to, but for the sake of simplicity, a detailed description will not be given here.

[0078] Moreover, as shown in FIG. 10, in one embodiment, before performing step S720 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, the following steps S1010 and S1020 are further included, but are not limited thereto.

[0079] Step S1010: Determine a transmit beam for transmitting a downlink reference signal.

[0080] Step S1020: Determine a transmitting beam as a receiving beam for receiving an uplink reference signal.

[0081] Note that the principle of the uplink reference signal and the downlink reference signal using the same beam may refer to the description of the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, but will not be described in detail here for the sake of simplicity.

[0082] Moreover, as shown in FIG. 11, in one embodiment, step S730 in the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 further includes, but is not limited to, step S1110.

[0083] Step S1110: Obtain a communication signaling sent by a terminal and having a reference delay difference.

[0084] The principle of acquiring the reference delay difference by communication signaling may refer to the description of the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, but will not be described in detail here for the sake of simplicity.

[0085] In addition, in order to describe the transmission delay measuring method according to the present application in more detail, the technical solution of the present application will be described below in two specific examples.

[0086] In the following two examples, all uplink reference signals use SRS, and all reference paths are exemplified as the transmission paths with the largest signal power, while the transmission beams and reception beams of the uplink reference signals and downlink reference signals are considered to be the same in order to ensure that the relative relationship between the transmission paths is the same.

[0087] Example 1 The reference delay difference is reported by the modulated SRS. As shown in Fig. 12, the transmission delay measurement method includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S1210 to S1280. Step S1210: The base station sends a downlink positioning reference signal to the terminal. Step S1220: The terminal determines a LOS path and a reference path from the transmission path of the downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1230: The terminal determines a difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path as a reference delay difference. Step S1240: The terminal generates two reference SRSs, and modulates one of the reference SRSs based on the reference delay difference to obtain a modulated SRS. Step S1250: The terminal transmits the reference SRS and the modulated SRS to the base station through a beam that receives the downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1260: The base station receives the reference SRS and the modulated SRS through the beam that transmits the downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1270: The base station determines a reference path based on the reference SRS. Step S1280: The base station obtains the transmission delay difference of the reference path between the modulated SRS and the reference SRS, and calculates a symbol difference together with the uplink transmission delay of the reference path in the reference SRS to obtain the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path.

[0088] As shown in FIG. 13, FIG. 13 is a spectrum diagram according to the example shown in FIG. 12. In FIG. 13, the signal below the noise floor reference line 1330 is the noise floor, that is, a waveform due to noise and interference in the transmission path. Since the transmission power of the base station is sufficient, it can be determined that the first detected signal in the spectrum received by the terminal is the downlink positioning reference signal transmitted by the LOS path, that is, the first peak point 1311 in FIG. 13. The signal transmission path corresponding to this first peak point 1311 is considered to be the LOS path. In addition, since the point where the signal power is maximum is the second peak point 1312, the signal transmission path corresponding to the second peak point 1312 is the reference path.

[0089] However, of the two symbols transmitted from the terminal to the base station, symbol 1 shown in the figure is the reference SRS, and symbol 2 is the modulated SRS, and the first peak point 1311 occurs before the second peak point 1312. Since the same beam is used for transmitting and receiving, it is considered that the transmission signal transmitted by the LOS path received at the base station also occurs before the reference path. On the other hand, as can be seen from FIG. 13, for the reference SRS, the point with the highest signal power is the fourth peak point 1322, and the third peak point 1321 before that is located below the noise floor reference line 1330. In other words, the transmission signal of the LOS path is buried in noise. Therefore, the fifth peak point 1323 by the modulated SRS and the fourth peak point 1322 corresponding to the reference SRS correspond to the reference path and can be easily detected in the spectrum, so that the uplink transmission delay of the reference path can be obtained and the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be calculated by the above method. As a result, when the terminal power is low, it becomes possible to measure the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path with only two symbols of SRS, thereby reducing the resource overhead due to RTT measurement.

[0090] Example 2 The reference delay difference is reported through a signaling interaction. As shown in FIG 14, the transmission delay measurement method includes, but is not limited to, the following steps S1410 to S1470. Step S1410: The base station sends a downlink positioning reference signal to the terminal. Step S1420: The terminal determines a LOS path and a reference path from the transmission path of the downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1430: The terminal determines a difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path as a reference delay difference, and sends the reference delay difference to the base station through signaling interaction. Step S1440: The terminal generates a reference SRS, and transmits the reference SRS to the base station via a beam that receives the downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1450: Receive a reference SRS by a beam transmitting a downlink positioning reference signal. Step S1460: A reference path is determined based on the reference SRS. Step S1470: Calculate the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path based on the reference delay difference and the uplink transmission delay of the reference path.

[0091] As shown in FIG. 15, FIG. 15 is a spectrum diagram according to the example shown in FIG. 14. In FIG. 15, the signal below the noise floor reference line 1530 is the noise floor, that is, a waveform caused by noise and interference in the transmission path. Since the transmission power of the base station is sufficient, it can be determined that the first detected signal in the spectrum received by the terminal is the downlink positioning reference signal transmitted by the LOS path, that is, the first peak point 1511 shown in FIG. 15. The signal transmission path corresponding to this first peak point 151 is considered to be the LOS path. In addition, since the point where the signal power is maximum is the second peak point 1512, the signal transmission path corresponding to the second peak point 1512 is the reference path.

[0092] However, in the reference SRS transmitted by the terminal to the base station, the first peak point 1511 occurs before the second peak point 1512. Since the same beam is used for transmitting and receiving, it is considered that the transmission signal transmitted by the LOS path received by the base station is also before the reference path. On the other hand, as can be seen from FIG. 15, for the reference SRS, the point with the largest signal power is the fourth peak point 1522, and the previous third peak point 1521 is located below the noise floor reference line 1530. In other words, the transmission signal of the LOS path is buried in noise. Therefore, the fourth peak point 1522 can be easily detected in the spectrum, so that the uplink transmission delay of the reference path can be obtained, and the reference delay difference can be obtained through signaling interaction to calculate the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path. This reduces the resource overhead caused by RTT measurement.

[0093] Also, with reference to the embodiments of the present application, a positioning method is provided which is applied to a positioning server communicatively connected to a base station and a terminal, respectively, and the positioning method includes, but is not limited to, steps S1610 and S1620.

[0094] Step S1610: obtain the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path sent by the terminal and the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path sent by the base station. The uplink transmission delay of the LOS path is obtained by the transmission delay measurement method according to the embodiment shown in the figure or the transmission delay measurement method according to the embodiment shown in FIG.

[0095] Step S1620: Determine location information of the terminal based on the downlink transmission delay and the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path.

[0096] It should be noted that the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path may refer to the embodiment method shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 8, but for simplicity, it will not be described in detail here.

[0097] It should be noted that the positioning request may be initiated by the positioning server, or may be initiated by the terminal or the base station, but this embodiment is not particularly limited thereto. After the positioning request is generated, the terminal and the base station need to report the transmission delay of the LOS path to the positioning server, respectively. Since the transmission delay is measured using the method of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 8, not only can the resource overhead be reduced, but also only a maximum of two SRS symbols are required to complete the measurement of the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path, which effectively improves the measurement efficiency, and eliminates the need to wait for the transmission and reception of multiple SRSs, thereby enabling efficient positioning.

[0098] After the positioning server receives the downlink transmission delay and uplink transmission delay of the LOS path, any method can be adopted to determine the location information of the terminal, such as the RTT measurement method defined in the relevant standard, but this embodiment is not particularly limited to this method.

[0103] The processor 1820 and the memory 1810 may be connected via a bus or other means.

[0104] Non-transitory software programs and instructions necessary to realize the transmission delay measurement method of the above embodiment are stored in memory 1810 and, when executed by processor 1820, perform the transmission delay measurement method applied to base station 1800 in the above embodiment, for example method steps S710 to S730 of FIG. 7, method steps S810 to S820 of FIG. 8, method steps S910 to S920 of FIG. 9, method steps S1010 to S1020 of FIG. 10, and method step S1110 of FIG. 11.

[0105] The above-described device examples are merely schematic, and the units described as separate components may or may not be physically separated, i.e., may be located in one place or distributed in multiple network nodes. [0106] Further, an embodiment of the present application also provides a computer-readable storage medium. Furthermore, when executed by one processor in the above-mentioned base station embodiment, it causes the above-mentioned processor to execute the transmission delay measurement method applied to the base station in the above-mentioned embodiment, for example, method steps S710 to S730 of FIG. 7, method steps S810 to S820 of FIG. 8, method steps S910 to S920 of FIG. 9, method steps S1010 to S1020 of FIG. 10, and method step S1110 of FIG. 11. All or part of the steps in the methods disclosed above, the system may be implemented as software, firmware, hardware, and appropriate combinations thereof. Some or all of the physical components may be implemented as software executed by a processor, such as a central processing unit, digital signal processor, microprocessor, or as hardware, or as an integrated circuit, such as an application specific integrated circuit. Such software may be distributed on a computer readable medium, which may include computer storage media (or non-transitory media) and communication media (or transitory media). As known to those skilled in the art, the term computer storage media includes volatile and non-volatile, removable and non-removable media implemented in any method or technology for storing information (e.g., computer readable instructions, data structures, program modules, or other data). Computer storage media includes, but is not limited to, RAM, ROM, EEPROM, flash memory or other memory technology, CD-ROM, digital versatile disk (DVD) or other optical disk storage, magnetic cartridge, magnetic tape, magnetic disk storage or other magnetic storage device, or any other medium that can be used to store the desired information and that can be accessed by a computer. Additionally, communication media typically includes computer readable instructions, data structures, program modules or other data in a modulated data signal such as a carrier wave or other transmission mechanism and may include any information delivery media.

[0107] The embodiment of the present application includes the steps of: acquiring a downlink reference signal transmitted by a base station, and determining a line-of-sight LOS path and a reference path from a transmission path of the downlink reference signal; acquiring a reference delay difference, which is a difference between the downlink transmission delay of the LOS path and the downlink transmission delay of the reference path; transmitting an uplink reference signal to the base station, so that the base station acquires the uplink transmission delay of the reference path based on the uplink reference signal; and reporting the reference delay difference to the base station, so that the base station obtains the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path based on the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference. According to the embodiment of the present application, when the uplink power of the terminal is limited, one uplink reference signal enables the base station to acquire the uplink transmission delay of the reference path, and the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path can be calculated by combining the uplink transmission delay of the reference path and the reference delay difference. This can effectively reduce the resource overhead for measuring the uplink transmission delay of the LOS path.
