Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a cleaning or hydrophilization treatment composition and a method for cleaning or hydrophilization treatment of a hard surface.
[0002] Background technology Anionic surfactants have excellent detergency and foaming properties and are widely used as components of detergents. As one type of anionic surfactant, an internal olefin sulfonate is known, which is obtained from an internal olefin having a double bond inside the olefin chain instead of at the end of the chain. The internal olefin sulfonate can be obtained, for example, by reacting an internal olefin with a gaseous sulfur trioxide-containing gas to sulfonate the internal olefin, neutralizing the resulting sulfonic acid, and then hydrolyzing it. The internal olefin sulfonate is known to have good biodegradability.
[0003] Conventionally, a method for imparting antifouling and soil-removing properties to hard surfaces has been known to involve hydrophilization. By subjecting a hard surface to hydrophilization, i.e., by reducing the contact angle of the hard surface with water and making the hard surface more easily wetted by water, dirt attached to the hard surface after the treatment can be easily removed during washing, and an effect of preventing recontamination of dirt can be expected. In addition, it is expected to provide an antifogging effect for glass and mirrors, antistatic effect, antifrosting effect for aluminum fins of heat exchangers, and antifouling and soil-removing properties for bathtub and toilet surfaces.
[0004] US Pat. No. 5,078,916 describes a cleaning agent composition containing an internal olefin sulfonate having 8 to 26 carbon atoms, at least 25% by mass of which is in the form of a beta-hydroxyalkanesulfonic acid. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2016-35009 describes a biofilm remover composition for hard surfaces that contains 1% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less of an internal olefin sulfonate. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2016-147928 describes a hand-washing dishwashing agent composition that contains, under specified conditions, (a) an internal olefin sulfonate having 8 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms, (b) a fatty acid or a salt thereof having 8 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, (c) one or more compounds selected from (c1) a specific alkanolamide, (c2) a specific fatty acid amidopropyl betaine, and (c3) a specific polyoxyethylene alkyl or alkenyl amine, and that has a mass ratio of (c) / (a) of 0.01 or more and 1 or less. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2016-147927 describes a hand-washing dishwashing agent composition containing, under specified conditions, (a) an internal olefin sulfonate having 8 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms, (b) a fatty acid or a salt thereof having 8 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, (c) an amine oxide having a hydrocarbon group having 8 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, and (d) a compound selected from an alkylsuccinic acid having an alkyl group having 8 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, an alkenylsuccinic acid having an alkenyl group having 8 or more and 22 or less carbon atoms, a salt thereof, and an anhydride thereof, and the mass ratio of (d) / (a) is 0.01 or more and 1 or less.

[0106] Working Example The components in the table are as follows:
[0107] <Component (A)> [Production Example 1] (Production of C18-IOS-K) The potassium salt of an internal olefin sulfonate having 18 carbon atoms (C18-IOS-K) can be obtained, for example, by the following Production Example. A flask equipped with a stirrer is charged with 7,000 parts by mass of 1-octadecanol (Kao Corporation's "Kalcol 8098") and 700 parts by mass of γ-alumina (Strem Chemicals Corporation) as a catalyst, and a reaction is carried out at 280°C under stirring while circulating nitrogen through the system, to obtain a crude internal olefin. The crude internal olefin is distilled at 148-158°C and 0.5 mmHg to obtain an internal olefin having an olefin purity of 100% and a carbon number of 18. The internal olefin is placed in a thin-film sulfonation reactor, and a sulfonation reaction is carried out using sulfur trioxide gas with a SO3 concentration of 2.8% by volume under conditions in which cooling water at 20°C is passed through the outer jacket of the reactor. The flow rates of the internal olefin and SO3 are set so that the reaction molar ratio (SO3 / internal olefin) is 1.09, and the reaction is carried out. The obtained sulfonated product is added to an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide equivalent to 1.2 molar equivalents of the theoretical acid value, and neutralized by stirring at 30°C for 1 hour. The neutralized product is heated in an autoclave at 160°C for 1 hour to carry out hydrolysis, and a crude product of potassium internal olefin sulfonate can be obtained. The crude product and ethanol are placed in a separatory funnel, and petroleum ether is added to extract and remove oil-soluble impurities. This operation is repeated three times, and the aqueous phase is evaporated to dryness to obtain potassium internal olefin sulfonate with 18 carbon atoms (C18-IOS-K). The amounts of component (A) in the table are calculated as values converted to the acid form (C18-IOS-H).
[0108] [Production Example 2] (Production of C16-IOS-K) The potassium salt of an internal olefin sulfonate having 16 carbon atoms (C16-IOS-K) can be obtained, for example, by the following Production Example.
