Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an electromagnetic induction device for heating an object to be heated or supplying power to an object to be powered, by utilizing electromagnetic induction. [Background technology]
[0002] In recent years, in order to ensure safety and improve convenience in kitchen home appliances, there has been a rise in expectations for wireless power supply without electrical contacts and wireless communication using near-field wireless communication (NFC) between devices and between devices and kitchen utensils (e.g., pots), thereby making them cordless.
[0003] In NFC, power is transferred or communication is performed by magnetic field coupling between a transmitting coil and a receiving coil. For example, as described in Patent Document 1, a technique is known for extending the communication distance by overlapping multiple coils using a relay coil or the like. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 5640515 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, due to the characteristics of magnetic field coupling, if there is something between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil that blocks the magnetic flux, such as a magnetic material, there is a problem that the communication distance is reduced or communication transmission is hindered. That is, even if a relay coil is provided as in Patent Document 1, there is a problem that efficient power supply and communication cannot be achieved if there is an obstacle between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil. In addition, there is a problem that efficient power supply and communication cannot be achieved unless the positions of the transmitting coil and the receiving coil are properly aligned.
[0006] More specifically, for example, an induction heating device is provided with a heating coil for induction heating an object to be heated (e.g., a pot, a kettle, etc.) placed on a top plate. Therefore, if a transmitting coil for communicating with the object to be heated is placed below the heating coil, the heating coil will hinder communication with the object to be heated, making it difficult to communicate efficiently. On the other hand, it is possible to shift the position of the transmitting coil from the heating coil, but the position where the receiving coil of the object to be heated is placed may differ depending on the object to be heated, and there is a problem that the user needs to align the transmitting coil and the receiving coil to magnetically couple them. In addition, the transmitting coil needs to be tilted to avoid the object to be heated placed on the transmitting coil on the top plate, which may lead to an increase in the size of the device.
[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned points, and has an object to enable communication with an object to be heated in an electromagnetic induction device while avoiding the influence of an electromagnetic induction coil. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] In order to solve the above problems, an electromagnetic induction device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes an electromagnetic induction coil that is provided in a storage space whose upper part is closed by a top plate and generates a magnetic flux in a direction toward the top plate, a communication coil that is provided between a bottom surface of the storage space and the electromagnetic induction coil and outputs a carrier wave of a frequency different from the drive frequency of the electromagnetic induction coil in a direction toward the top plate, and a relay device that is provided between the top plate and the electromagnetic induction coil and has a relay coil that is magnetically coupled to the communication coil and is configured to resonate at the frequency of the carrier wave.
[0009] According to the above aspect, even if the carrier wave output from the communication coil is obstructed by the electromagnetic induction coil, the leakage magnetic flux from the electromagnetic induction coil can be amplified in the relay device. Moreover, since a carrier wave different from the driving frequency of the electromagnetic induction coil is used, only the carrier wave output from the communication coil can be amplified without being affected by the magnetic flux emitted from the electromagnetic induction coil.
[0010] In the electromagnetic induction device of the above aspect, the relay coil may be formed on a surface of a plate-like or sheet-like dielectric material.
[0011] In this way, the relay coil is formed on the surface of a plate-like or sheet-like dielectric material and inserted between the top plate and the electromagnetic induction coil, thereby ensuring the safety of the user. In addition, by forming the relay coil on the surface of a plate-like or sheet-like dielectric material, the relay device can be made thinner, and a decrease in heating efficiency and power supply efficiency can be prevented. Furthermore, the manufacturing cost can be reduced compared to a method in which an antenna is embedded in the top plate.
[0012] In the electromagnetic induction device of the above aspect, the relay device may have, on a surface of the dielectric, a first surface electrode connected to one end of the relay coil and formed so as to surround the relay coil, and a first back surface electrode formed on a back surface of the dielectric so as to face the first surface electrode.
[0013] This forms a line capacitance between the first front surface electrode and the first back surface electrode, making it possible to configure a resonant circuit in the relay device without using any electronic components.
[0014] In the electromagnetic induction device of the above aspect, a second surface electrode connected to the other end of the relay coil may be formed on a surface of the dielectric, and a second back surface electrode connected to the first back surface electrode and facing the second surface electrode may be formed on a back surface of the dielectric.
[0015] This forms a line capacitance between the second front surface electrode and the second back surface electrode, making it possible to configure a resonant circuit in the relay device without using any electronic components.
[0016] In the electromagnetic induction device of the above aspect, a connection wiring between the first back surface electrode and the second back surface electrode may extend so as to be perpendicular to a wiring constituting the relay coil.
[0017] This makes it possible to reduce communication noise.
[0018] The relay coil may have a larger outer diameter than the electromagnetic induction coil in a plan view of the electromagnetic induction device seen from above.
[0019] This prevents the electromagnetic induction coil from being exposed even if the top plate is broken, thereby preventing the user from accidentally touching the electromagnetic induction coil. Effect of the Invention
[0020] The electromagnetic induction device of the present invention can realize communication with an object placed on a tabletop while avoiding the influence of an electromagnetic induction coil provided between the object and the communication coil. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0022] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0023] Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an induction heating device according to this embodiment, and Fig. 2 shows a cross-sectional view along line II-II in Fig. 1. In this embodiment, an IH cooking heater is exemplified as the induction heating device. For ease of explanation, the front side of the induction heating device in the direction facing the user will be referred to as the "front" and the back side as the "rear", the left side when viewed from the front side to the back side will be referred to as the "left" and the right side as the "right", and the upper side in the height direction when in use will be referred to as the "upper" and the lower side as the "lower".
[0024] 1, in this embodiment, a so-called built-in type IH cooking heater that is installed in an installation opening (not shown) provided in a kitchen countertop is exemplified as the induction heating device 1. The induction heating device 1 is configured to heat an object to be heated 8 such as a frying pan or a pot by utilizing the principle of electromagnetic induction. The induction heating device 1 is an example of an electromagnetic induction device.
[0025] The induction heating device 1 is not limited to a built-in IH cooking heater, and may be a cooking appliance other than an IH cooking heater. For example, the induction heating device 1 may be configured such that the electromagnetic induction coil 31 is directly built into cooking equipment installed in a building, furniture such as a table, or the like.
[0026] The object to be heated 8 is not limited to a frying pan or a pot, but may be an electric device or the like that has a built-in power receiving coil for receiving power from the electromagnetic induction coil 31 by electromagnetic induction.
[0027] As shown in Fig. 1, the induction heating device 1 is a four-port type having four heating sections 3 as locations for placing an object to be heated 8 that can be induction-heated. The four heating sections 3 are provided at intervals in the front-rear or left-right directions and are arranged so that connecting the centers of the heating sections 3 forms a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view seen from above the induction heating device 1 (hereinafter simply referred to as a plan view).
[0028] 1 and 2, the induction heating device 1 includes a housing 2 having a top plate 21 provided on the upper portion, the four heating units 3 described above, four relay devices 4 provided corresponding to each heating unit 3, an operation display unit 6, and a control board 70. The four heating units 3, the four relay devices 4, the operation display unit 6, and the control board 70 are contained within the housing 2.
[0029] -Case- The housing 2 has an outer shell corresponding to the space in which the induction heating device 1 is installed, and is formed in a generally rectangular box shape that is open upward. The housing 2 is mainly made of sheet metal or the like. A frame-shaped bracket 24, also made of sheet metal or the like, is attached to the periphery of the opening of the housing 2. The top plate 21 is installed on the bracket 24 so as to cover the opening of the housing 2. An accommodation space Q is formed inside the housing 2 on which the top plate 21 is placed. In the accommodation space Q, a middle plate 23 for installing the heating unit 3 is provided at a middle position in the vertical direction. In the middle plate 23, a vent hole 27 for cooling the electromagnetic induction coil 31 is formed at a position corresponding to the electromagnetic induction coil 31 described later. Note that the induction heating device 1 may be configured not to include the housing 2. Although not shown, for example, in a configuration in which the electromagnetic induction coil 31 is directly built into cooking equipment installed in a building, furniture such as a table, etc., the accommodation space Q may be formed in the cooking equipment or furniture, etc., without providing a housing, and the electromagnetic induction coil 31 may be accommodated in the accommodation space Q.
[0030] -Operation display section- The operation display unit 6 is provided in the form of a panel below the top plate 21 at the front of the housing 2. Although not specifically shown in the drawings, the operation display unit 6 displays the heating level of the object 8 placed on the top plate 21 and receives input from the user. The operation display unit 6 includes, for example, a display unit made of a liquid crystal display element and a touch panel. The operation form and display form of the operation display unit 6 are not particularly limited, and various forms known in the art can be adopted.
[0031] -Heating part- The heating unit 3 includes an electromagnetic induction coil 31 supported by a disk-shaped coil base 28 provided on the middle plate 23. The electromagnetic induction coil 31 is, for example, a flat coil wound radially along the top plate 21.
[0032] The electromagnetic induction coil 31 is driven by a drive circuit 76 (see FIG. 5) described later, and generates a magnetic flux in a direction (vertical direction) toward the top plate, i.e., toward the object 8 placed on the top plate 21. This allows the induction heating device 1 to inductively heat the object 8 placed on the top plate 21, and to supply power to the object 8 via an electromagnetic induction coil (not shown) provided on the object 8. The drive frequency of the electromagnetic induction coil 31 (the frequency of the drive current) is set to, for example, about several tens of kHz.
[0033] The configuration of the electromagnetic induction coil 31 is not limited to a flat coil. For example, although not shown, electromagnetic induction coils wound around the axis of a ferrite core or the like extending along the top plate 21 may be arranged at intervals in the front-rear or left-right direction at positions corresponding to the electromagnetic induction coil 31 in Fig. 1. Also, the electromagnetic induction coils 31 may have the same configuration for each heating unit 3, or may have different configurations.
[0034] -Control Board- The control board 70 is provided for each heating unit 3 and disposed below each heating unit 3. In the present embodiment, an example is shown in which the control board 70 is installed on the bottom plate 25 of the housing 2, i.e., on the bottom surface 26 of the accommodation space Q. The control board 70 is provided with a communication coil 71 for wirelessly communicating data with a communication device 80 mounted on the object 8 to be heated, and a control circuit 72.
[0035] 5, the control circuit 72 includes a drive circuit 76 that drives the electromagnetic induction coil 31 based on the operation content received by the operation display unit 6, and a communication circuit 77 that wirelessly communicates with the communication device 80 via the communication coil 71. The communication device 80 includes, for example, a communication coil 81 and a communication circuit 82 that wirelessly communicates with the communication circuit 77 via the communication coil 81. However, the configuration of the communication device 80 is not particularly limited.
[0036] The data exchanged via the wireless communication is not particularly limited, but may, for example, be setting data such as a set temperature transmitted from the induction heating device 1 to the object to be heated 8, data on the required amount of power transmitted from the object to be heated 8 to the induction heating device 1, or a measured temperature of a medium (e.g., food) contained in the object to be heated 8.
[0037] The communication coil 71 outputs a carrier wave having a frequency different from the driving frequency of the electromagnetic induction coil 31 for the wireless communication. The carrier frequency of the carrier wave is not particularly limited, but is set to 13.56 [MHz], for example, when a communication method conforming to the Near Field Communication (NFC) standard (hereinafter simply referred to as NFC) is used for communication between the object to be heated 8 and the control circuit 72. The communication coil 71 is provided immediately below the electromagnetic induction coil 31. In general, the induction heating device 1 is configured so that the object to be heated 8 is placed immediately above the electromagnetic induction coil 31. Therefore, by providing the communication coil 71 immediately below the electromagnetic induction coil 31, it is possible to save the user the trouble of aligning the object to be heated 8 and the communication coil 71.
[0038] -Relay device- 2, the relay device 4 is provided between the top plate 21 of the housing 2 and the electromagnetic induction coil 31. The relay device 4 includes a plate-shaped or sheet-shaped dielectric 40 extending along the top plate 21. A relay coil 41 is formed on a surface (upper surface in this embodiment) of the dielectric 40. The relay coil 41 may be formed on a lower surface of the dielectric 40.
[0039] Dielectric 40 has a circular shape that is the same as or slightly larger than the outer diameter of coil base 28 in plan view, and is placed on and supported by the peripheral portion of coil base 28. With this configuration, for example, when tabletop 21 is made of a material such as glass, even if the tabletop is broken, electromagnetic induction coil 31 is not exposed, so that it is possible to prevent a user from accidentally touching electromagnetic induction coil 31.
[0040] The material of the dielectric 40 is not particularly limited, but for example, mica (εr=7.0) or mica (εr=7.5) can be suitably used as the material of the dielectric 40. By using a material with a high relative dielectric constant such as mica or mica, it is possible to reduce the thickness and electrode area required to ensure the line capacitances C1 and C2 described below. Note that the material of the dielectric 40 is not limited to mica or mica, and other materials with relative dielectric constants equal to or greater than those of mica or mica may be used.
[0041] Fig. 3 is an enlarged view of the relay device 4 in Fig. 2. The left side of Fig. 4 shows a top view of the relay device 4, and the right side of Fig. 4 shows a bottom view of the relay device 4. In Fig. 4, the dielectric 40 is omitted.
[0042] 3 and 4, the relay coil 41 is a planar coil in which a conductor wire is formed on the dielectric 40 so as to have a rectangular spiral shape of multiple turns in a plan view. The material of the conductor wire is not particularly limited, but a material with low resistivity is preferable. For example, conductive ink, conductive tape, conductive substrate, etc. made of a metal material such as copper can be suitably used. The shape of the relay coil 41 is not limited to a rectangular spiral shape, and may be another shape, for example, a circular spiral shape.
[0043] Furthermore, a surface outer peripheral electrode 42 connected to the outer end (one end) of the relay coil 41 and surrounding the periphery of the relay coil 41, and a surface internal electrode 43 connected to the inner end (the other end) of the relay coil 41 are formed on the surface of the dielectric 40. The center position in the front-rear and left-right directions of the relay coil 41 is aligned with the center position of the communication coil 71. This allows efficient reception of the magnetic flux output from the communication coil 71.
[0044] Further, on the back surface of the dielectric 40, a back surface peripheral electrode 44 formed to face the entire front surface peripheral electrode 42, and a back surface internal electrode 45 formed to face the front surface internal electrode 43 are provided. As a result, a line capacitance C1 is formed between the front surface peripheral electrode 42 and the back surface peripheral electrode 44, and a line capacitance C2 is formed between the front surface internal electrode 43 and the back surface internal electrode 45.
[0045] Furthermore, the rear peripheral electrode 44 and the rear internal electrode 45 are connected by a connection wire 46 that extends perpendicular to the conductor wire that constitutes the relay coil 41 .
[0046] As a result, in the relay device 4, as shown in FIG. 5, a series resonant circuit 49 is formed in which the relay coil 41, the line capacitance C1, and the line capacitance C2 are connected in series.
[0047] The series resonant circuit 49 is configured to resonate at the carrier frequency of the carrier wave output from the communication coil 71. In this way, even if the carrier wave output from the communication coil 71 is blocked by the electromagnetic induction coil 31, the leakage magnetic flux from the electromagnetic induction coil 31 can be amplified in the relay device 4. Then, the relay coil 41 and the communication coil 82 of the object to be heated 8 are magnetically coupled to each other, so that the carrier wave output from the communication coil 71 can be transmitted to the communication circuit of the object to be heated 8.
[0048] Here, the resonant frequency fo of the series resonant circuit 49 is expressed by the following equation (1).
[0049]
number
[0050]
number
[0051] In the above formula, L is the inductance of the relay coil 41, and C is the combined capacitance of the line capacitance C1 and the line capacitance C2. s is the relative permeability of the dielectric 40, d is the thickness of the dielectric 40, and S is the surface area of the opposing electrodes.
[0052] For example, when mica (εr=7.0) having a thickness of 0.3 mm is used as the dielectric, the opposing surface area of the peripheral electrodes 42, 44 formed on the front and back of the dielectric 40 is set to 3420 mm 2 ], and the opposing surface area of the internal electrodes 43 and 45 is 625 [mm 2 ], the combined C of equation (2) and the series connection is about 100 [pF]. From equation (1), when the inductance of the relay coil 41 is set to about 1.3 [μF], the resonant frequency of the series resonant circuit 49 is 13.56 [MHz]. In other words, the series resonant circuit 49 of the relay device 4 is configured to resonate at the carrier frequency of the NFC carrier wave.
[0053] The inductance L of the relay coil 41 can be adjusted by changing the diameter or number of turns of the coil. The line capacitance C1 or line capacitance C2 can be adjusted, for example, by changing the relative dielectric constant of the material used for the dielectric 40 or the thickness of the dielectric 40. The line capacitance C1 or line capacitance C2 may also be adjusted, for example, by changing the opposing surface area of the electrodes formed on the front and back of the dielectric 40.
[0054] In other words, one or more of the inductance L of the relay coil 41, the line capacitance C1, and the line capacitance C2 can be changed by design, and by changing these, the resonance frequency fo can be set to an arbitrary value. In this way, by using the configuration of this embodiment, the resonance frequency can be flexibly changed for communication standards with different carrier frequencies, such as RFID.
[0055] In summary, the induction heating device 1 of this embodiment includes a housing 2 with a top plate 21 provided thereon, an electromagnetic induction coil 31, a communication coil 71, and a relay device 4. The electromagnetic induction coil 31 is provided in an accommodation space Q inside the housing 2, and generates a magnetic flux in a direction toward the object to be heated 8 placed on the top plate 21. The communication coil 71 is provided between a bottom plate 25 of the housing 2 and the electromagnetic induction coil 31, and outputs a carrier electromagnetic wave of a frequency different from the drive frequency of the electromagnetic induction coil 31 in a direction toward the top plate 21. The relay device 4 includes a relay coil 41 provided between the top plate 21 and the electromagnetic induction coil 31 and magnetically coupled to the communication coil 71, and a series resonant circuit 49 configured with line capacitances C1 and C2.
[0056] With this configuration, as described above, even if the carrier wave output from the communication coil 71 is blocked by the electromagnetic induction coil 31, the leakage magnetic flux from the electromagnetic induction coil 31 can be amplified in the relay device 4. Then, the relay coil 41 and the communication coil 82 of the object to be heated 8 are magnetically coupled to each other, so that the carrier wave output from the communication coil 71 can be transmitted to the communication circuit of the object to be heated 8. That is, even if the electromagnetic induction coil 31 is disposed between the communication coil 71 and the object to be heated 8, data communication can be performed between the control circuit 72 and the object to be heated 8 via the communication coil 71.
[0057] In the above embodiment, the relay coil 41 is formed on the surface of a plate-like or sheet-like dielectric material.
[0058] In this way, by forming the relay coil 41 on the surface of the plate-like or sheet-like dielectric 40 and inserting it between the top plate 21 and the electromagnetic induction coil 31, it is possible to ensure the safety of the user. Furthermore, by forming the relay coil 41 on the surface of the plate-like or sheet-like dielectric 40, it is possible to make the relay device 4 thinner, and it is possible to prevent a decrease in heating efficiency and power supply efficiency. Furthermore, compared to a method in which an antenna is embedded in the top plate 21, it is possible to reduce manufacturing costs.
[0059] In the above embodiment, a front peripheral electrode 42 connected to one end of the relay coil 41 and formed so as to surround the relay coil 41, and a front internal electrode 43 connected to the other end of the relay coil 41 are formed on the front surface of the dielectric 40. In addition, a rear peripheral electrode 44 is formed on the rear surface of the dielectric 40 so as to face the front peripheral electrode 42, and a rear internal electrode 45 is formed so as to face the front internal electrode 43.
[0060] With the above configuration, the repeater device 4 has a series resonant circuit 49 in which the repeater coil 41, the line capacitance C1, and the line capacitance C2 are connected in series. This allows the repeater device 4 to be configured without electronic components, eliminating the restrictions on the operating temperature that depend on the electronic components. In addition, since the resonant circuit can be configured simply by forming patterns on the front and back surfaces of the dielectric, no physical connection with other circuit boards or the like is required, and the device can be easily attached.
[0061] In the above embodiment, the connection wiring between the rear peripheral electrode 44 and the rear internal electrode 45 extends so as to be perpendicular to the wiring that constitutes the relay coil 41 .
[0062] This makes it possible to reduce communication noise.
[0063] As described above, a preferred embodiment has been described as an example of the technology of the present disclosure. However, the technology of the present disclosure is not limited to this, and can be applied to embodiments in which modifications, substitutions, additions, omissions, etc. are made as appropriate. In addition, some of the components described in the attached drawings and detailed description may not be essential for solving the problem. Therefore, the fact that these non-essential components are described in the attached drawings or detailed description should not be used to immediately determine that these non-essential components are essential.
[0064] For example, the above embodiment may be configured as follows.
[0065] For example, the relay device 4 may be configured by bonding two dielectrics 401, 402 together as shown in Fig. 6. In the configuration of Fig. 6, for example, a relay coil 41, a front peripheral electrode 42, and a front internal electrode 43 are formed on the front surface of one dielectric 401, and a rear peripheral electrode 44, a rear internal electrode 45, and a connection wiring 46 are formed on the front surface of the other dielectric 402. Then, the rear surfaces of both dielectrics 401, 402 may be bonded together using an adhesive or the like.
[0066] In the above embodiment, the capacitors constituting the series resonant circuit of the relay device 4 are realized by the line capacitance C1 between the front peripheral electrode 42 and the rear peripheral electrode 44 and the line capacitance C2 between the front internal electrode 43 and the rear internal electrode 45, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, as shown in Fig. 7, the capacitor 75 constituting the series resonant circuit 49 may be formed using electronic components. In this case, the capacitor 75 may be mounted on the control board 70, for example.
[0067] In the above embodiment, an example in which a relay device 4 is provided for each heating unit 3 has been described, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in FIG. 8, a relay device 4 may be provided to cover a plurality of heating units 3. FIG. 8 shows an example in which two relay devices 4 are arranged side by side in two left and right directions for a free location type induction heating device 1. The arrangement and configuration of the relay device 4 are the same as those of the above embodiment. For example, the relay device 4 is provided between the top plate 21 and the electromagnetic induction coil 31 of the housing 2, and includes a plate-shaped or sheet-shaped dielectric 40 extending along the top plate 21. The relay coil 41 and the surface electrodes 42 and 43 are formed on the surface of the dielectric 40, and a back electrode (not shown) is formed on the back surface so as to face each of the surface electrodes 42 and 43. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to obtain the same effect as that of the above embodiment. In addition, the dielectric 40 is not limited to a circular shape, and may be rectangular as shown in FIG. 8.
[0068] In the above embodiment, the front surface internal electrode 43 and the rear surface internal electrode 45 are arranged facing each other at a distance to form a line capacitance C2 between them, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the front surface internal electrode 43 and the rear surface internal electrode 45 may be directly connected using a grommet or the like. In this case, a series resonant circuit is formed by the line capacitance C1 between the front surface peripheral electrode 42 and the rear surface peripheral electrode 44 and the relay coil 41. [Industrial Applicability]
[0069] As described above, the induction heating device of the present invention can achieve communication with an object placed on the top plate while avoiding the influence of the electromagnetic induction coil, and is therefore extremely useful and has high industrial applicability.
