Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a fastener for ornaments.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, as a fastener used for ornaments such as necklaces, a fastener for ornaments as disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example, has been disclosed. The fastener disclosed in Patent Document 1 is composed of a first part and a second part. The first part includes a substantially C-shaped ring-shaped main body and a pin member having one end abutting on the ring-shaped main body, and the second part has an engagement hole. When a user attempts to wear an ornament, the user holds the first part and the second part in each hand, and while the ring-shaped main body of the first part and one end of the pin member are not in contact, the pin member is passed through the engagement hole of the second part while passing through the gap between them, and then the ring-shaped main body and one end of the pin member are brought into contact. As a result, the first member and the second member are connected. Further, Patent Document 2 discloses a fastener for an ornament configured such that magnets are provided on each of two parts constituting the fastener, and the two parts are connected by the attraction of the two magnets.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] For example, when a user attaches or detaches a necklace, the user often connects or separates the fastener behind the neck without visually confirming the fastener. Also, in the case of the fastener as disclosed in Patent Document 1, the user generally attaches or detaches the jewelry by pinching the first part and the second part, which are very small parts, with the fingertips of both hands and connecting or separating the first part and the second part. At this time, fine finger movements are required to pass or separate the pin member of the first part through the engagement hole of the second part, and such operations often fail, and there are problems such as it taking a long time to attach or detach the jewelry. Further, in the case of the fastener of Patent Document 2, when a force in a direction to pull apart the two parts of the fastener is applied while the jewelry is being worn, there is a problem such that the jewelry may fall off relatively easily due to the magnet parts of both parts being separated.
[0005] The present invention has been made in view of such problems.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, one aspect of the present invention is a fastener for jewelry, including: a first part connected to one end of the jewelry and having an inner surface portion formed in a substantially V shape, the inner surface portion having a first magnet portion at least in part; and a second part connected to the other end of the jewelry, the outer surface portion having a second magnet portion at least in part, the second magnet portion being adsorbable to the first magnet portion on the inner surface portion side of the first part.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0008] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a fastener in the case where the jewelry is a necklace will be described, but it is not limited thereto. The fastener according to this embodiment can be used for various pieces of jewelry, and is particularly suitable for jewelry used in a circular shape such as a necklace, a pendant, a bracelet, an anklet, etc.
[0009] FIG. 1 is a figure showing an example of the appearance of the fastener according to this embodiment. The fastener 1 of the jewelry 5 according to this embodiment is composed of a first component 10 and a second component 20. The first component 10 is connected to one end 51 of the jewelry 5, and the second component 20 is connected to the other end 52 of the jewelry 5. Further, FIG. 1 shows a state where the first component 10 and the second component 20 of the fastener 1 are connected, whereby the jewelry 5 can be formed into a circular shape as a whole. Further, the first component 10 and the second component 20 can be connected in a state of being attracted to each other by a first magnet portion and a second magnet portion provided in each component as described later.
[0010] FIG. 2 shows an example of a front view, a top view, a bottom view, a right side view, and a left side view in a state where the first component 10 and the second component 20 of the fastener 1 according to this embodiment are connected. FIG. 2(a) is a front view of the fastener 1, FIG. 2(b) is a top view of the fastener 1, FIG. 2(c) is a bottom view of the fastener 1, FIG. 2(d) is a right side view of the fastener 1, and FIG. 2(e) is an example of a left side view of the fastener 1.
[0011] As shown in FIG. 2(a), the fastener 1 of this example has a generally thick isosceles triangle shape as a whole in a state where the second part 20 and the second part 20 are connected, and the apex portion of the generally isosceles triangle shape has a rounded shape. Note that "generally" means that it does not have to be exactly in agreement, and a certain degree of deviation is allowed (the same applies throughout this specification). Further, as an example, the longitudinal width l of the fastener 1 is about 14 mm (millimeters), the lateral width w is about 6.4 mm, and the thickness d is about 3 mm. Also, in the fastener 1 of this example, the thicknesses of the first part 10 and the second part 20 are substantially the same. Thereby, in a state where the first part 10 and the second part 20 are connected as shown in FIG. 2, there is almost no step at the boundary between the first part 10 and the second part 20 on the surface portion of the plate-like shape of the fastener 1, and the surface portion of the plate-like shape has a smooth appearance. Thereby, the first part 10 and the second part 20 exhibit an integrated appearance, contributing to the aesthetic appearance.
[0012] Further, FIG. 3 shows an example of a perspective view of a state where the first part 10 and the second part 20 of the fastener 1 according to the present embodiment are separated. FIG. 3(a) is a perspective view of the fastener 1 viewed from direction A in FIG. 2, and FIG. 3(b) is a perspective view of the fastener 1 viewed from direction B in FIG. 2. The first part 10 of the fastener 1 includes an annular first connection portion 12 for connection to one end 51 of the jewelry. Also, the first part 10 has an inner surface portion 15 formed in a substantially V shape. Further, the inner surface portion 15 includes at least a part of a first magnet portion 17 (hatched portion 17). In the present embodiment, the first magnet portion 17 is constituted by providing two substantially rectangular magnets respectively in a part of the portions corresponding to the two sides of the substantially V shape of the inner surface portion 15, but this is merely an example. The first magnet portion 17 may be formed in a substantially V shape along the substantially V-shaped inner surface portion 15, for example.
[0013] Also, in this example, the second component 20 has a substantially triangular prism shape with two bottom surfaces being substantially isosceles triangles. The second component 20 includes a second magnet portion 27 (hatched portion 27) on at least a part of the outer surface portion 26. In this example, the second magnet portion 27 is provided on two side surfaces that constitute two equal sides of the substantially triangular prism shape of the second component 20. Note that, in this example, the second magnet portion 27 is formed by two substantially rectangular magnets, but it may be a continuous single magnet portion. Further, the second component 20 has a protruding portion 23 at one end of the base of the substantially isosceles triangle. The second component 20 also includes an annular second connection portion 22 for connecting to the other end 52 of the ornament, and the second connection portion 22 is provided on the protruding portion 23. Thereby, when the first component 10 and the second component 20 are attracted to each other by the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 as shown in FIG. 2, the two ends of the ornament are respectively connected to both ends of the base of the substantially isosceles triangle as a whole, and it becomes symmetric including the ornament with respect to the symmetry axis of the substantially isosceles triangular shape of the fastener 1, contributing to the aesthetics. Also, when attaching and detaching the ornament, since the user can hold the protruding portion 23 with one hand, providing the protruding portion 23 also contributes to the operability.
[0014] Note that, in this embodiment, the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 are respectively formed by embedding magnets in the first component 10 and the second component 20 (details will be described later). However, the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 may be respectively formed by attaching magnets to the first component 10 and the second component 20. The magnetic force of the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 is, for example, 3400 gauss (340 millitesla).
[0015] Also, the fastener 1 of this embodiment is configured to be connected to the ornament 5 by the first connection portion 12 and the second connection portion 22. The ornament 5 may be detachable from the fastener 1 at the first connection portion 12 and the second connection portion 22, or may be fixed so as not to be removable.
[0016] Further, a non-magnetic substance may be provided on at least a part of the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10. As shown in FIG. 2, it is ideal for the second component 20 to be adsorbed in such a manner as to be sandwiched from both sides on the substantially V-shaped inner surface portion 15 side of the first component 10. However, for example, the second component 20 may be adsorbed to the outer surface portion 16 side of the first component 10. Therefore, by providing a non-magnetic substance on at least a part of the outer surface portion 26 of the first component 10, it becomes difficult for the second component 20 to be adsorbed to the outer surface portion 16 side of the first component 10. More specifically, for example, at least a part of the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10 may be covered with an aluminum foil having a thickness of about 0.01 to 0.02 mm.
[0017] Further, FIG. 4 shows an example of a front view, a top view, a bottom view, a right side view, and a left side view of the first component 10. FIG. 4(a) is a front view of the first component 10, FIG. 4(b) is a top view of the first component 10, FIG. 4(c) is a bottom view of the first component 10, FIG. 4(d) is a right side view of the first component 10, and FIG. 4(e) is an example of a left side view of the first component 10.
[0018] As shown in FIG. 4, the first component 10 has an inner surface portion 15 formed in a substantially V shape and has a columnar shape with two substantially V-shaped surfaces as the bottom surfaces. Also, as a whole, one side 102 of the V shape is shorter than the other side 104. When the protruding portion 23 of the second component 20 is fitted into the shorter portion of one side 102, as shown in FIG. 2, the entire fastener 1 becomes a substantially isosceles triangle shape with two sides having substantially the same length. The length of one side 102 and the thickness of the protruding portion 23 of the second component 20 (the length in the vertical direction in FIG. 2) are designed. Further, an annular first connection portion 12 for connecting one end 51 of the ornament is provided at the other end 108 of the longer other side 104, which is different from one end 106 in contact with one side 102. In this example, the first connection portion 12 is annular (ring), but the first connection portion 12 may be a hole or the like capable of connecting a ring or a chain.
[0019] Also, as shown in FIGS. 4(a) and 4(c), the vertex portion (end portion) 106 where the two sides 102 and 104 are in contact has a rounded shape, and a third connecting portion 112 is provided at the vertex portion 106 so that a chain or the like can be connected. In the example of FIG. 4, two holes are provided in the third connecting portion 112 so that a ring or a chain can be connected (see FIG. 1). Note that the third connecting portion 112 may be the third connecting portion 112 with a ring for connecting a chain connected to the two holes.
[0020] FIG. 5 also shows an example of a front view, a top view, a bottom view, a right side view, and a left side view of the second component 20. FIG. 5(a) is a front view of the second component 20, FIG. 5(b) is a top view of the second component 20, FIG. 5(c) is a bottom view of the second component 20, FIG. 5(d) is a right side view of the second component 20, and FIG. 5(e) is an example of a left side view of the second component 20.
[0021] As shown in FIG. 5, the second component 20 is generally in a substantially isosceles triangular shape as a whole, but has a protruding portion 23 at one end of the base of the substantially isosceles triangle. The lateral length of the protruding portion 23 is substantially the same as the thickness of the side 102 of the first component 10 (the width in the lateral direction in FIG. 4). Also, in the present embodiment, the length of one side 202, which is one of the two sides other than the base and is connected to the protruding portion 23, is substantially the same as the length on the inner surface portion 15 side of the side 102 of the first component 10, and the length of the other side 204 is substantially the same as the length on the inner surface portion 15 side of the side 104 of the first component 10. Further, the outer surface portion 16 of the second component 20 having the second magnet portion 27 has substantially the same shape as the inner surface portion 15 formed in a substantially V-shaped in the first component 10 (the apex angles of the substantially isosceles triangles of the first component 10 and the second component 20 are substantially the same). Thus, when the second component 20 is fitted in such a manner as to be sandwiched from both sides on the substantially V-shaped inner surface portion 15 side of the first component 10, as shown in FIG. 2, the outer surface portion 26 of the second component 20 and the inner surface portion 15 of the side 102 and the side 104 (substantially V-shaped) of the first component 10 can be fitted so as to be in close contact with each other as a whole. Thereby, when the first component 10 and the second component 20 are fitted together, the entire fastener 1 becomes a substantially isosceles triangular shape as shown in FIG. 2, and the appearance of the fastener 1 becomes well-balanced. However, this is merely an example, and the second magnet portion 27 may have a shape that can be adsorbed at least partially in surface contact with the first magnet portion 17. For example, the length of the side 202 may be longer or shorter than the length on the inner surface portion 15 side of the side 102 of the first component 10. Also, the length of the side 204 may be longer or shorter than the length on the inner surface portion 15 side of the side 104 of the first component 10. The lengths of these sides are such that the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 can be in contact with each other at least partially.
[0022] Further, the protruding portion 23 is provided with an annular second connecting portion 22 for connecting to the other end 52 of the jewelry. In this example, the second connecting portion 22 is annular (ring), but a hole or the like capable of connecting a ring or a chain may be used as the second connecting portion 22.
[0023] In the example of FIG. 5, there are regions 271 and 272 where substantially rectangular magnets are exposed on the outer surface portions corresponding to sides 102 and 104, respectively, and these regions constitute the second magnet portion 27 (see FIGS. 5(d) and 5(e)). However, the second magnet portion 27 may be configured as one region with these regions being continuous.
[0024] Furthermore, the details of the configuration example of the fastener 1 according to the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 6 is an example of a front view of the fastener 1 in a state where the first component 10 and the second component 20 are separated. In the first component 10 in this example, two magnets 17a and 17b are embedded, and by being exposed in inner surface regions 15a and 15b, which are parts of the inner surface portion 15 formed in a substantially V - shape, respectively, the first magnet portion 17 is formed. Note that this is just an example. For example, the magnets 17a and 17b may be provided by being attached to the surfaces of the inner surface regions 15a and 15b, respectively. Also, in this example, the first magnet portion 17 is realized by two magnets 17a and 17b, but it may be realized by one physically continuous magnet, or may be realized by three or more magnets. Also, in this example, the first magnet portion 17 is provided such that the magnets 17a and 17b are exposed in the inner surface regions 15a and 15b which are parts of the inner surface portion 15, but it may be provided over the entire inner surface portion 15.
[0025] Further, in this example, the second component 20 has, as the second magnet portion 27, a magnet 27a in the shape of a prism (quadrangular prism) with two substantially trapezoidal bottom surfaces embedded inside the second component 20, and a part of it is realized by being exposed in outer surface regions 26a and 26b which are parts of two substantially triangular prism-shaped side surfaces of the second component 20. Note that this is just an example, and instead of the magnet 27a, for example, two thin plate-shaped magnets may be respectively attached to the surfaces of the outer surface regions 26a and 26b to realize the second magnet portion 27. Also, in this example, the second magnet portion 27 is constituted by one magnet 27a, but it may be realized physically by two or more magnets. Further, in this example, the second magnet portion 27 is provided only in a part of two substantially triangular prism-shaped side surfaces of the second component 20, but it may be provided over the entire two side surfaces.
[0026] Also, in this embodiment, the polarities in the inner surface regions 15a and 15b of the magnets 17a and 17b are different from each other, and the polarities in the outer surface regions 26a and 26b of the magnet 27a are different from each other. Also, for example, when the polarities in the inner surface regions 15a and 15b of the magnets 17a and 17b are the N pole and the S pole respectively, the polarities in the outer surface regions 26a and 26b of the magnet 27a are the S pole and the N pole respectively. Thereby, when the user tries to wear the ornament, for example, by simply holding the first component 10 and the second component 20 in the left and right hands respectively and bringing the first component 10 and the second component 20 closer, the inner surface region 15a and the outer surface region 26a attract each other and the inner surface region 15b and the outer surface region 26b attract each other, and the first component 10 is likely to adsorb to the side of the inner surface portion 15 of the second component 20.
[0027] Also, at this time, due to the magnetic forces of the magnets 17a, 17b, and 27a, the second component 20 may be attracted to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10. However, when the second component 20 is attracted while being sandwiched between the V-shaped first component 10 on the side of the inner surface portion 15 of the first component 10 and when it is attracted to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10, the force that the two components pull on each other is stronger in the former case. Therefore, even if the user does not directly visually recognize the fastener 1, the user can feel the force with which the first component 10 and the second component 20 held in the left and right hands respectively pull on each other, and determine whether the second component 20 is attracted to the side of the inner surface portion 15 of the first component 10 or to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10. Alternatively, when the second component 20 is attracted to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10, after the user feels with the left and right hands that the first component 10 and the second component 20 are attracted, if the user gently pulls in the direction of separating left and right (the direction of arrow 40 in FIG. 6), the second component 20 can be easily detached, thereby recognizing that the second component 20 is attracted to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10, and it is possible to reconnect the two components, etc.
[0028] Also, when the user is wearing an ornament connected to the fastener 1 according to this embodiment (when the first component 10 and the second component are connected), due to the weight of the ornament, a pulling force is likely to be applied mainly in the parallel direction (the direction of arrow 40 in FIG. 6). However, at this time, since the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 are attracted to pull each other in a direction almost opposite to this pulling force, the first component 10 and the second component 20 are difficult to separate. That is, the ornament is unlikely to fall off. On the other hand, when the user intends to take off the ornament, by pulling the second component 20 in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 pull on each other, that is, in the vertical direction (the direction of arrow 30 in FIG. 6), the first component 10 and the second component 20 can be relatively easily separated without applying a strong force. That is, according to the fastener 1 according to this embodiment, when the ornament is worn, the fastener 1 is unlikely to come off and the ornament is unlikely to fall off, while when the user intends to attach and detach the ornament, fine operations are not required and the ornament can be easily attached and detached. (Modification example) Next, a modification example of the fastener 1 according to the present embodiment will be described.
[0029] In the fastener 1 described above, as shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 5, the thicknesses of the first part 10 and the second part 20 are assumed to be substantially the same, but the thicknesses of the two may be different. FIG. 7 is a diagram for explaining an example of the thicknesses of the first part 10 and the second part 20. Each diagram shown in FIG. 7 is a side view in a state where the first part 10 and the second part 20 overlap. Note that each diagram in FIG. 7 is shown in a simplified manner. In the above description, the case where the side surfaces of the first part 10 and the second part 20 are substantially rectangular and have substantially the same thickness as shown in FIG. 7(a) has been described. However, in the fastener 1 according to the present embodiment, as exemplified in FIG. 7(b), the second part 20 may be thinner as a whole than the first part 10. Further, as exemplified in FIG. 7(c), the first part 10 and the second part 20 may be tapered in one direction. In the example of FIG. 7(c), the first part 10 and the second part 20 are tapered downward, but they may be tapered upward.
[0030] FIG. 8 is a diagram showing another modification example of the fastener 1 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 8(a) shows a configuration example of the fastener 1 in which the second part 20 does not include the protruding portion 23. In this case, the first part 10 has a substantially V-shaped shape that is symmetric about the left and right as a whole, and the second part 20 has a substantially isosceles triangular shape that is symmetric about the left and right as a whole. Also, in this configuration example, the positions of the first connection portion 12 and the second connection portion 22 of the fastener 1 that are respectively connected to one end 51 and the other end 52 of the ornament 5 may be as shown in FIG. 8(a) as an example.
[0031] Further, FIG. 8(b) shows a case where the shapes of the first component 10 and the second component 20 are the same as those of the fastener 1 according to the above-described embodiment, but characters 50 are attached to one or both of the two bottom surfaces 206 having a substantially triangular prism shape of the second component 20. In this way, for example, by attaching characters such as the user's initials, messages, designs, etc., the fastener 1 becomes unique to the user. Further, a decoration 70 such as a pearl or a diamond or other gemstone may be attached to the side surface corresponding to the bottom side portion of the substantially isosceles triangle shape of the second component 20. As a result, the fastener 1 not only functions as a fastener, but also improves the design of the fastener 1 to have an aesthetic appearance, and the fastener 1 itself can also become a part of jewelry.
[0032] Further, FIG. 8(c) shows an example where the overall shape of the first component 10 is a shape other than a substantially V-shaped. In the example of FIG. 8(c), the shape of the second component 20 is a substantially triangular prism shape having two bottom surfaces which are substantially isosceles triangular shapes with a protruding portion 23 as in FIG. 8(b). Also, the first component 10 includes an inner surface portion 15 formed in a substantially V-shape, and the outer surface portion 16 having a cylindrical shape has a rounded shape. In the example of FIG. 8(c), the bottom surface of the cylindrical shape is heart-shaped as a whole. When the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10 is in a rounded shape in this way, even if the first magnet portion 17 and the second magnet portion 27 are attracted to each other by magnetic force and the second component 20 is adsorbed to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10 (the second component 20' shown by a broken line), the area where the first component 10 and the second component 20 are in contact becomes small. As a result, it becomes difficult for the second component 20 to be adsorbed to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10, and even if it is adsorbed, if the user pulls the first component 10 and the second component 20 with a small force, the two components can be easily separated. Therefore, even when the user does not directly view the fastener 1, it is easy to determine whether the second component 20 is adsorbed on the inner surface portion 15 or the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10. Also, the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10 may be other shapes. For example, the outer surface portion 16 may be a shape other than a linear shape such as a star shape or a wave shape. Even in such a shape, since the area where the second component 20 is in contact with the first component 10 becomes small, it becomes difficult for the second component 20 to be erroneously adsorbed to the outer surface portion 16 of the first component 10, and if the user pulls the first component 10 and the second component 20 with a small force, the two components can be easily separated. Also, the shape of the second component 20 in the modification example of FIG. 8(c) may be a substantially isosceles triangular shape which is symmetric as a whole and does not include the protruding portion 23 as in FIG. 8(a). In this case, the first component 10 becomes a substantially V-shaped which is symmetric as a whole. Also, the positions of the first connecting portion 12 and the second connecting portion 22 of the fastener 1 may be the same as in FIG. 8(a).
[0033] Returning to FIG. 1, the usage method of the fastener 1 will be further described. As shown in FIG. 1, the fastener 1 can be connected to one end 51 and the other end 52 of the ornament 5. In the example of FIG. 1, the end portions 51 and 52 of the ornament 5 are configured as metal chains such as gold, silver, and platinum, and subsequently, ornaments 55 such as jewels and mirror balls, a metal chain 56, and a jewel 57 are connected in this order. Further, a third connection portion 112 is provided at the apex portion of the substantially isosceles triangular shape of the fastener 1. To the third connection portion 112, a metal chain 61, an ornament 62 such as a jewel or a mirror ball, a metal chain 63, and an ornament 64 such as a jewel or a mirror ball are connected in sequence. Also, the portion of the third connection portion 112 is rotatable with the metal chain 61. By being configured as shown in FIG. 1, the fastener 1 in this example not only functions as a mere fastener but also has high design quality. When the user wears the ornament 5, the fastener 1 usually locates at the back side of the user's neck. However, due to the design as shown in FIG. 1, the fastener 1 itself can also beautifully adorn the user's neck muscles. Further, when the first part 10 and the second part 20 of the fastener 1 are connected, the whole has a substantially isosceles triangular shape that is symmetric about the left and right. Thus, at least a part of the outer surface portion 26 of the second part 20 adheres to the inner surface portion 15 of the substantially V-shaped of the first part 10 in a surface contact manner, providing a high function of being difficult to come off when the ornament 5 is worn, and at the same time, it is a fastener that also has an aesthetic appearance.
[0034] Also, in the above description, in each drawing, the fastener is illustrated in a state where the base of the substantially isosceles triangular shape of the fastener 1 is upward (a state where it looks like a V as a whole). However, for the convenience of explanation, it is only illustrated in this way.
