Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a pelvic orthosis.
Background Art
[0002] The pelvis (lumbar vertebra) is a bone structure that forms an extremely thick and solid wall. It supports the movable part of the spine above the lumbar vertebrae and also supports the weight of the trunk. In particular, it helps to hold the intestinal tract and pelvic organs and also serves as the base of the lower limb bones. However, the pelvis is prone to distortion and opens with age. Pelvic distortion causes problems such as low back pain and body shape changes.
[0003] Conventionally, as a pelvic orthosis for correcting pelvic distortion, there is already known a pelvic orthosis for the waist and lumbar vertebra having a waist tightening belt, an extension continuous belt, and a lumbar vertebra tightening belt, and provided with a plurality of ore bodies (Everest α stone) (Patent Document 1). However, in the conventional pelvic orthosis, the upper side of the extension continuous belt is connected to the waist tightening belt, and the bottom side of the extension continuous belt is connected to the lumbar vertebra tightening belt. When the pelvic orthosis is worn, the lumbar vertebra tightening belt only pulls up the user's buttocks and is fixedly coupled to the waist tightening belt. Therefore, there is a problem that the holding and fixing force and the support force of the buttocks and hip joints are weak and it is easy to shift when worn. Also, especially in the sitting position, the abdominal muscle strength is likely to relax, and the pelvis is likely to tilt backward and open, making the hip joint prone to external rotation. The conventional pelvic orthosis is not suitable for caring for such a state.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide a pelvic orthosis that can improve the holding and fixing force and the support force of the buttocks and hip joints, and can correct a posteriorly tilted pelvis in the anterior tilt direction.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventor has found that extremely good results can be obtained by providing a belt that covers and fixes the buttocks together with the waist and a belt that covers and lifts the buttocks, and has completed the present invention.
[0007] That is, the present invention is solved by a pelvic orthosis characterized by including a first belt that covers and fixes the buttocks together with the waist and a second belt that covers and lifts the buttocks.
Effects of the Invention
[0008] According to the pelvic orthosis of the present invention, the entire buttocks are obliquely lifted from the lower part of the back of the buttocks to the front of the abdomen by the first belt that covers and fixes the buttocks together with the waist and the second belt that covers and lifts the buttocks, and the entire pelvis such as the sacrum, coccyx, and ischium can be firmly supported. Therefore, it is possible to prevent displacement during wearing and support the posteriorly tilted pelvis in the anterior tilt direction.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0011] In FIGS. 1 and 2 showing an embodiment of the pelvic orthosis of the present invention, P is a pelvic orthosis main body that is wound and worn around the waist of a user, and includes a first belt 10 that covers and fixes the buttocks together with the waist, and a second belt 20 that covers and lifts the buttocks. The first belt 10 is composed of a wide and stretchable fabric portion 11 that covers the buttocks together with the waist, and narrow and non-stretchable fixed belt piece portions 12 that are respectively connected to both left and right sides of the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11. On the inner surface (the surface on the human body side when worn) of one end portion of the narrow and non-stretchable fixed belt piece portion 12, a hook-and-loop fastener portion 12a is provided, and on the outer surface, a hook-and-loop fastener fabric 12b is provided, so that they can be fastened and detached.
[0012] On the inner surface of the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11 of the first belt 10, a lumbar support plate 13 is attached so as to be positioned at the lumbar vertebrae when worn. The method of attaching the lumbar support plate 13 to the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11 is not particularly limited. For example, direct sewing to the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11, accommodation and sealing in a pocket portion sewn to the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11, etc. can be mentioned. As shown in FIG. 1, the lumbar support plate 13 is accommodated and sealed in a pocket portion 13a that is sewn in a suspended state to the upper edge portion of the wide and stretchable fabric portion 11, and the left and right outer side portions of the pocket portion 13a are respectively connected to both inner side end portions of the narrow and non-stretchable fixed belt piece portion 12 via connecting fabric pieces 13b to hold the suspended state of the lumbar support plate 13. This is desirable for making the lumbar support plate 13 fit better to the waist according to the body build and body shape of the wearer and improving the support force for the lumbar vertebrae. The material of the lumbar support plate 13 is not limited to its type, but from the viewpoint of increasing the pressing and fixing force on the waist, synthetic resins such as EVA resin and urethane resin with excellent elasticity, woven fabrics, and non-woven fabrics are preferably mentioned. The form of the lumbar support plate 13 is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is a plate-like body having a bone shape or a palm outer shape, and having a thickness of about 0.5 to 1.5 cm, which is particularly desirable when sitting as it does not get in the way and enhances the pressing and fixing force on the waist.
[0013] The second belt 20 is composed of a wide stretchable fabric portion 21 that covers the buttocks and narrow non-stretchable fixed belt pieces 22 that are integrally formed on both the left and right sides of the wide stretchable fabric portion 21. Hook-and-loop fastener portions 22a are provided on the inner surfaces (the surfaces on the human body side when worn) of both ends of the narrow non-stretchable fixed belt pieces 22, and hook-and-loop fastener fabrics 22b are provided on the outer surfaces, enabling front-to-back attachment and detachment, and also enabling attachment and detachment to the hook-and-loop fastener fabric 12b on the outer surface of the narrow non-stretchable fixed belt piece 12 of the first belt 10.
[0014] On the inner surface of the wide stretchable fabric portion 21 of the second belt 20, a pair of left and right trochanter pressing pads 23 for the femur are attached so as to be located around the greater trochanter of the femur when worn. The trochanter pressing pad 23 for the femur has a convex and concave surface on the human body side, moderately compresses the area around the trochanter (attachment parts such as the tensor fasciae latae, sartorius muscle, and quadriceps femoris), and supports the stability of the hip joint on the extension of the trochanter. Also, by attaching the trochanter pressing pad 23 for the femur, the buttocks and hip joint are stabilized simultaneously. The method of attaching the trochanter pressing pad 23 for the femur to the wide stretchable fabric portion 21 is not particularly limited. For example, direct sewing to the wide stretchable fabric portion 21, or accommodation and sealing in a pocket portion sewn to the wide stretchable fabric portion 21 can be mentioned. The material of the trochanter pressing pad 23 for the femur is not limited by its type, but particularly preferred are synthetic resins such as EVA resin and urethane resin, which are excellent in elasticity and resilience, as well as woven fabrics and non-woven fabrics. The form of the trochanter pressing pad 23 for the femur is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is a rectangular shape or an elliptical shape, and having a thickness of about 0.5 to 1.5 cm is desirable for moderately pressing the area around the trochanter and supporting the stability of the hip joint.
[0015] When worn, the second belt 20 is overlapped with a part of the hip covering area on the side of the first belt 10 opposite to the human body (the outer surface of the pelvic orthosis), and is fixed to the first belt 10 in the central region of the overlapping portion. The wide-width stretchable fabric part 11 of the first belt 10 and the wide-width stretchable fabric part 21 of the second belt 20 may each use a single-piece cut stretchable fabric. However, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, stretchable fabrics divided into two parts left and right are used, and an integrally formed by interposing a single strip-shaped fabric part 30, and it is desirable to fix the first belt 10 and the second belt 20 to the strip-shaped fabric part 30. The method of fixing is not particularly limited, and examples include sewing.
[0016] As the stretchable fabric of the wide-width stretchable fabric parts 11 and 21, any type of stretchable fabric may be used as long as it has stretchability. However, from the viewpoint of comfort (wearing feeling), for example, a fabric with a thickness of about 0.5 to 1.5 mm for a single fabric is preferably used. The stretchable fabric of the wide-width stretchable fabric part 11 and the stretchable fabric of the wide-width stretchable fabric part 21 may be the same fabric or fabrics of different materials. However, it is desirable that the wide-width stretchable fabric part 11 is thinner and has a weaker stretchability than the wide-width stretchable fabric part 21.
[0017] As the fabric of the strip-shaped fabric part 30 and the fabric of the connecting fabric piece 13b, any type of fabric may be used as long as it has no stretchability. However, from the viewpoint of comfort (wearing feeling), it is desirable to use the same fabric as the stretchable fabric of the wide-width stretchable fabric part 11.
[0018] Also, as the non-stretchable fabric of the narrow-width non-stretchable fixed belt piece part 12 and the narrow-width non-stretchable fixed belt piece part 22, any type of non-stretchable fabric may be used as long as it has no stretchability.
[0019] Next, with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, an example of wearing the pelvic orthosis shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first belt 10 is wound and worn so as to cover the user's waist and hips. Then, the narrow non-elastic fixed belt piece 22 of the second belt 20 is pulled from below upward, and the second belt 20 is wound and worn so as to cover the entire buttocks. Thereby, the entire buttocks can be lifted obliquely, and the entire pelvis such as the sacrum, coccyx, and ischium can be supported. Therefore, not only in the standing position but also when worn in the sitting position, displacement can be prevented, and the posteriorly inclined pelvis can be supported in the forward inclination direction, that is, the direction in which the hip joint is easily internally rotated. Furthermore, since the wearing condition can be adjusted by the second belt 20, the adjustment and holding of the pelvic orthosis can be easily performed particularly in the sitting position.
