A plurality of engaging claws 52 that engage with the engaged hole 16h of the rear cabinet 16 from below are formed on the upper end side of the cover member 46, and the plurality of engaging claws 52 are arranged at intervals in the left-right direction.
[0029] (Operational effects of this embodiment) As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, with the display panel 12 standing upright, by moving it downward relative to the stand 20, each side end portion 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting fitting 28 abuts against the contact surface 44f of each guiding member 44, and the connecting fitting 28 is guided to a predetermined position in the width direction. Further, by continuing the relative downward movement operation of the display panel 12, each side end portion 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting fitting 28 is guided vertically by each guiding member 42. And in that state, each first locking claw 32 locks into each first locking hole 18h of the fixing fitting 18 from below, and each second locking claw 34 locks into each second locking hole 18v of the fixing fitting 18 from below. Thereafter, the connecting fitting 28 is fixed to the fixing fitting 18 by a plurality of set screws 30. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 4, the stand 20 is attached to the back side of the display panel 12.
[0030] That is, according to the television receiver 10 according to this embodiment, with the display panel 12 standing upright, each first locking claw 32 can be easily locked into each first locking hole 18h of the fixing fitting 18 and each second locking claw 34 can be easily locked into each second locking hole 18v of the fixing fitting 18 by each guiding member 42. Therefore, according to the television receiver 10 according to this embodiment, while preventing deformation or damage of the display panel 12, the mounting time of the stand 20 can be shortened, and the mountability (ease of mounting) of the stand 20 can be improved.
[0031] In particular, as described above, the support member 36 is formed with a stepped portion 36d and the fixing bracket 18 is formed with a recess 18d. Therefore, while avoiding interference between the first locking claws 32 etc. of the connecting bracket 28 and the support member, and interference between the first locking claws 32 of the connecting bracket 28 and the fixing bracket 18, the stand 20 can be attached to the back side of the display panel 12. Also, as described above, since the support protrusions 40 are respectively formed on both sides in the width direction of the stepped portion 36d in the support member 36, the connecting bracket 28 can be stably relatively moved from the side of the support protrusion 40 to the side of the guide member 42. Therefore, according to the television receiver 10 according to the present embodiment, the attachment time of the stand 20 can be made shorter and the attachability of the stand 20 can be enhanced more.
[0032] 〔Modification example of the embodiment〕 With reference to FIGS. 8 and 9, a modification example of the present embodiment will be described. FIGS. 8 and 9 are views showing a state in which a stand is attached to the back side of a display panel in a television receiver according to a modification example of the present embodiment. For convenience of explanation, members having the same functions as the members described in the present embodiment are given the same reference numerals and their explanations are not repeated.
[0033] (Auxiliary guide portion 56 etc.) As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, in a television receiver 54 according to a modification example of the present embodiment, auxiliary guide portions 56 having an L-shaped cross section extending in the vertical direction are respectively formed on both sides in the width direction of the stepped portion 36d in the support member 36. Each auxiliary guide portion 56 guides the side end portion 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting bracket 28 in the vertical direction while restricting the movement of the connecting bracket 28 in the left-right direction and the front-rear direction. Each auxiliary guide portion 56 is located below each guiding member 44, and the upper end portion of each auxiliary guide portion 56 and the lower end portion of each support protrusion 40 face each other in the width direction (left-right direction).
[0034] Note that the vertical length of each side end portion 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting bracket 28 in the television receiver 54 is longer than the vertical length of each side end portion 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting bracket 28 in the television receiver 10.
[0035] (Advantages and effects of the modification of the embodiment) With the display panel 12 standing upright, by moving it downward relative to the stand 20, each side end 28s of the vertical portion 28b of the connecting fitting 28 is guided prior to each auxiliary guide portion 56. Thereby, the connecting fitting 28 can be stably moved relative to the guide member 42 from the side of the auxiliary guide portion 56. In particular, since the upper end portions of the respective auxiliary guide portions 56 and the lower end portions of the respective support protrusions 40 face each other in the width direction, when the connecting fitting 28 is moved relative to the guide member 42 from the side of the auxiliary guide portion 56, displacement in the width direction of the connecting fitting 28 can be suppressed. Therefore, according to the modification of the present embodiment, the effects of the above-described present embodiment can be further enhanced.
[0036] 〔Other embodiments〕 Note that the technical idea applied to the television receivers 10 and 54 may be applied to display devices other than the television receivers 10 and 54 such as a monitor display.
