Abstract
To provide a golf club head which can expand a high repulsion area of a face portion in a toe-heel direction without impairing the strength.SOLUTION: A golf club head 1 has a hollow part in the inside and comprises a face portion 2, and a body portion 3 including a crown portion 4 and a sole portion 5 both extending to the back of a head from the face portion 2. In the body portion 3, at least one slit 10 penetrating through the body portion 3 is provided. The slit 10 has a width in a toe-heel direction and a length in a front-rear direction of the head which is larger than the width. In at least a part of a periphery of the slit 10, a thick portion is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
