Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a roll stamping device that can expand the range of product shapes. [Background technology]

[0002] While the general roll forming (RF) method can only form parts with a uniform cross section in the length direction, the flexible roll forming (FRF) method can form parts with variable cross sections by giving the rotating roll linear and curved movement in the direction of material travel, width, or thickness.

[0003] However, the variable roll forming method has a problem in that the material is continuously subjected to tension and compression in the direction of travel in the transition region of the variable cross section, causing warping at the bottom and sides of the material, ultimately resulting in continuous shape errors at the bottom and sides of the product.Furthermore, the variable roll forming method has a problem in that it requires an additional moving device with a complex configuration to move the rolling contact of the rotating rolls in a straight or curved line.

[0004] To solve this problem, the present applicant proposed a roll stamping device as described in Korean Patent Publication No. 2013-0131872. This roll stamping device can reduce shape errors of products and can form parts with variable cross-sectional shapes without complex equipment.

[0005] However, the above-mentioned roll stamping device has a limited range of variable cross-section change rate. For example, if the curvature radius of the variable cross-section is small or the height is high, the pair of rotating rolls may interfere with each other and overlap, or the gap between the rolls may be closer than the thickness of the material, causing the material to be pinched between the pair of rolls. If this occurs, not only will the rolls be damaged, but the product may not be formed. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a roll stamping device that can expand the range of product shapes without being limited by, for example, the radius of curvature or height of the variable cross section. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] A roll stamping device according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an inclined roll set including a first rotating roll and a second rotating roll that rotate facing each other, have fixed positions and angles, and are inclined with respect to a moving material, wherein a first molding portion for molding the material is formed on an outer surface of the first rotating roll, and the first molding portion includes a first circumferential groove portion that is inclined at an oblique angle rather than a right angle with respect to a rotation axis of the first rotating roll, and a second molding portion for molding the material is formed on an outer surface of the second rotating roll, and the second molding portion includes a first circumferential protrusion portion that is inclined at an oblique angle rather than a right angle with respect to the rotation axis of the second rotating roll, and the first molding portion and the second molding portion may have shapes that correspond to each other and fit together. [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] According to the present invention, by applying an inclined rotating roll, it is possible to form a variable cross-section radius of curvature and height that was previously impossible to form, thereby expanding the range of shapes of products that can be formed and improving forming efficiency. [Figure 10] 1 is a diagram for explaining a comparison between inclined roll sets according to a first embodiment and a second embodiment of the present invention; DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings, in which: when referring to components in each drawing, it should be noted that the same components are designated by the same reference numerals whenever possible, even if they appear in different drawings.

[0011] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a roll stamping apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II of FIG. 2, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II of FIG. 2, and FIG. 5 is an enlarged perspective view of a first rotating roll and a second rotating roll.

[0012] A roll stamping apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention may include multiple tilt roll sets 10.

[0013] The tilted roll set 10 can include a first rotating roll 11 and a second rotating roll 12 that are fixed in position and angle.

[0014] Here, unlike the rolls in variable roll forming, the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 of the inclined roll set 10 do not move in the traveling direction x, width direction y, or thickness direction z of the material 1 during forming, and the angle of the roll axis rotated horizontally and the angle of the inclined roll axis relative to the traveling direction x of the material are not changed. Therefore, in one inclined roll set, the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll maintain the posture and direction set at the installed position.

[0015] The first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 may include rotating shafts 13 and 14 parallel to each other and shaped portions (for example, 15 and 16) formed on the outer surfaces.

[0016] The first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 constituting the inclined roll set 10 can be disposed at an inclination. That is, the rotation axes 13, 14 of the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll of the inclined roll set are parallel to each other but not parallel to the horizontal plane of the material 1, and are inclined at a predetermined inclination angle α.

[0017] 3 to 5, the generatrix L of the outer surface of the first rotating roll 11 is not parallel to the center line O of the rotation shaft 13 of the first rotating roll, but is inclined at the above-mentioned inclination angle α. The inclination angle α is the angle between the center line O of the rotation shaft 13 and the generatrix L.

[0018] The generatrix L of the outer surface of the second rotating roll 12 is not parallel to the center line O of the rotation shaft 14 of the second rotating roll, but is inclined at the inclination angle α described above.

[0019] The first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 constituting the inclined roll set 10 may have a substantially truncated cone shape, but are not necessarily limited to this.

[0020] A driving motor (not shown) may be connected to at least one of the rotating shafts 13 and 14 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12, and a transmission mechanism (not shown), such as a gear or belt mechanism, may be interposed between the driving motor and the rotating shaft. The rotating shafts and the driving motor, as well as their connection, are well known, and therefore detailed description of their configurations and functions will be omitted in this specification and drawings.

[0021] The first rotating roll 11 may include a first molding portion 15 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, and the second rotating roll 12 may include a second molding portion 16 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, corresponding to the first molding portion.

[0022] The first molding section 15 is formed so that its interior angle or depth varies along the circumference of the first rotating roll 11, and the first molding section can have a shape that corresponds to and fits into the second molding section 16 of the second rotating roll 12.

[0023] For example, the first molding section 15 can include a first circumferential groove section 17 inclined at an oblique angle β that is not perpendicular to the center line O of the rotation axis 13 of the first rotating roll 11 .

[0024] Optionally, the first molding portion 15 may include a second circumferential protrusion portion 21 adjacent to the first circumferential groove portion 17 and having a predetermined angle with respect to the center line O of the rotation axis 13 of the first rotating roll 11.

[0025] An inclined surface 23 may be formed between the first groove portion 17 in the circumferential direction of the first molding portion 15 and the second protrusion portion 21 in the circumferential direction.

[0026] In addition, a transition portion 19 connecting the first circumferential groove portion 17 or the second circumferential protrusion portion 21 may be formed on one side of the first rotating roll 11. For example, such a transition portion is formed by forming the first groove portion inclined with respect to the rotation axis 13 of the first rotating roll, so that one end of the first groove portion does not meet the other end after one rotation, smoothly connecting the misaligned portion. An example of the transition portion of the first rotating roll is shown in (a) of Figure 5.

[0027] For example, the second molding section 16 may include a first circumferential protrusion 18 that is inclined at an oblique angle β rather than at a right angle to the center line O of the rotation axis 14 of the second rotating roll 12. The first circumferential protrusion is formed to correspond to the first circumferential groove 17 of the first molding section 15, allowing the molds to be matched.

[0028] Optionally, the second molding section 16 may include a second circumferential groove 22 adjacent to the first circumferential protrusion 18 and having a predetermined angle with respect to the center line O of the rotation axis 14 of the second rotating roll 12. The second circumferential groove is formed to correspond to the second circumferential protrusion 21 of the first molding section 15, allowing the molds to be matched.

[0029] An inclined surface 24 may be formed between the first circumferential protrusion 18 and the second circumferential groove 22 of the second molding portion 16 .

[0030] In addition, a transition portion 19 that connects the first circumferential protrusions 18 or the second circumferential grooves 22 may be formed on one side of the second rotating roll 12. For example, such a transition portion is formed such that the first protrusions are inclined with respect to the rotation axis 14 of the second rotating roll, so that one end of the first protrusion does not meet the other end after one rotation, smoothly connecting the misaligned portion. An example of the transition portion of the second rotating roll is shown in Figure 5(b).

[0031] When a continuously supplied sheet-shaped material 1 passes between the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 configured in this manner, the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll rotate facing each other, and at the same time, the first forming section 15 and the second forming section 16 press both sides of the material, thereby forming a variable cross-sectional shape into the material.

[0032] For example, the first circumferential groove portion 17 and the first circumferential protrusion portion 18 can be mated with a mold sandwiching the material 1 to form the first bent portion 7 in the material or change the angle of the first bent portion. Also, the second circumferential protrusion portion 21 and the second circumferential groove portion 22 can be mated with a mold sandwiching the material to form the second bent portion 8 in the material simultaneously with the first bent portion 7 or change the angle of the second bent portion.

[0033] As a result, the first forming section 15 and the second forming section 16 can form the bent sections 7, 8 at the desired bending angle on the material 1 from both sides in the width direction y.

[0034] A plurality of inclined roll sets 10 including the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 can be arranged at predetermined intervals from each other along the traveling direction x of the raw material 1.

[0035] 1 and 2 again, as an example, the multiple inclined roll sets 10 may be arranged in a staggered pattern on both sides of the center of the width direction y of the material 1 so as not to interfere with each other. By arranging the multiple inclined roll sets in multiple stages and offset from each other, the bending angle of the portions of the material on both sides that form the side walls 5 in the recesses 3 of the product 2 can be changed little by little as they pass alternately through the multiple inclined roll sets.

[0036] However, the arrangement of the inclined roll sets 10 is not necessarily limited to this. For example, when the width of the material 1 is relatively wide, multiple inclined roll sets can be arranged in parallel on both sides of the center of the material in the width direction y, and pairs of inclined roll sets can be arranged at a predetermined interval along the material's traveling direction x.

[0037] In this case, the first rotating rolls 11 and the second rotating rolls 12 constituting the inclined roll sets 10 may be inclined at the same inclination angle. However, this is not necessarily limited thereto, and for example, the inclined angle of the rotating rolls may be different for each inclined roll set.

[0038] In addition, the plurality of inclined roll sets 10 may be arranged in a line, such as a straight line, along the traveling direction x of the material 1. This allows for efficient use of space without unnecessarily increasing the space required for the roll stamping device.

[0039] As an example, the first forming portion 15 of the first rotating roll 11 in the inclined roll set 10 located downstream on the left side in the traveling direction x of the material 1 can have a different cross-sectional shape, i.e., a changed interior angle or depth of the first forming portion, from the first forming portion of the first rotating roll of the inclined roll set located upstream on the left side, so that the material passing through the multiple inclined roll sets has a sequentially variable cross-sectional shape.

[0040] In this case, since the second forming portion 16 of the second rotating roll 12 has a cross-sectional shape that matches the first forming portion 15 of the first rotating roll 11, the second forming portion of the second rotating roll in the inclined roll set located downstream on the left side can have a different cross-sectional shape, i.e., a changed protrusion angle or protrusion length (from a rotating shaft of the same diameter), from the second forming portion of the second rotating roll in the inclined roll set located upstream on the left side.

[0041] For example, the interior angle between the first groove 17 of the first forming section 15 and the first protrusion 18 of the second forming section 16 becomes smaller as the inclined roll set 10 arranged downstream becomes smaller, so that the side wall of the recess 3 of the product 2 in the blank 1 is finally formed at the desired angle. 5 The portion forming the curved portion can be bent toward the center of the material in the width direction y.

[0042] In this way, the material 1 can be gradually formed into a product 2 having a variable cross-sectional shape while passing through the multi-stage inclined roll set 10. In particular, when high-strength steel is used, the material is prevented from breaking during forming due to its fragile formability, and the material can be accurately and easily formed without shape errors. At the same time, products having a variable cross-sectional shape can be manufactured without a separate, complex rotating roll moving device.

[0043] The roll stamping apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention may further include a plurality of horizontal roll sets 30 .

[0044] The horizontal roll set 30 can include a third rotating roll 31 and a fourth rotating roll 32 that are fixed in position and angle.

[0045] Here, horizontal roll set 30 Unlike the rolls of variable roll forming, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 do not move in the direction of travel x of the material, the width direction y or the thickness direction z during forming, and the angle of the roll axis rotated horizontally with respect to the direction of travel x of the material is not changed. Therefore, one horizontal roll set 30 In this state, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 maintain the posture and direction set at the installed positions.

[0046] The third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 may include rotating shafts 33 and 34 parallel to each other and shaped portions (for example, 35 and 36) formed on the outer surfaces.

[0047] The third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 constituting the horizontal roll set 30 can be arranged horizontally. That is, the rotation axes 33 and 34 of the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll of the horizontal roll set are parallel to each other and to the horizontal plane of the material 1.

[0048] A driving motor (not shown) may be connected to at least one of the rotating shafts 33 and 34 of the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32, and a transmission mechanism (not shown), such as a gear or belt mechanism, may be interposed between the driving motor and the rotating shaft. The rotating shafts and the driving motor, and their connection relationship, are well known, and therefore detailed description of their configurations and functions will be omitted in this specification and drawings.

[0049] The third rotating roll 31 may include at least one negative angle forming portion 35 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, and the fourth rotating roll 32 may include at least one positive angle forming portion 36 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, corresponding to the negative angle forming portion.

[0050] The negative angle forming portion 35 is formed so that its width or depth varies along the circumference of the third rotating roll 31, and the negative angle forming portion may have a shape that corresponds to and fits the regular angle forming portion 36 of the fourth rotating roll 32.

[0051] For example, the negative angle forming portion 35 formed on the third rotating roll 31 of the horizontal roll set 30 and the positive angle forming portion 36 formed on the fourth rotating roll 32 may be formed to be inclined or curved at an angle other than a right angle relative to the rotation axes 33 and 34 of each rotating roll.

[0052] In this case, a transition portion 39 connecting the negative angle forming portion 35 may be formed on one side of the third rotating roll 31. Also, a transition portion 39 connecting the positive angle forming portion 36 may be formed on one side of the fourth rotating roll 32.

[0053] When the continuously supplied sheet-shaped material 1 passes between the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 configured in this manner, the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll rotate facing each other, and at the same time, the negative angle forming section 35 and the positive angle forming section 36 press both sides of the material to form a variable cross-sectional shape in the material.

[0054] 1 and 2, the negative angle shaped portion 35 and the positive angle shaped portion 36 can form recesses 3 in the blank 1 that have variable widths or variable depths.

[0055] Alternatively, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 may each include a forming section that combines a negative angle forming section and a positive angle forming section.

[0056] A plurality of horizontal roll sets 30 including the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 may be arranged at predetermined intervals along the traveling direction x of the material 1. By arranging a plurality of horizontal roll sets in multiple stages, the material can be bent and shaped little by little as it passes through the multiple horizontal roll sets.

[0057] Among the horizontal roll sets 30 arranged downstream in the traveling direction x of the material 1, the negative angle forming portion 35 of the third rotating roll 31 may have a cross-sectional shape different from that of the negative angle forming portion of the third rotating roll of the horizontal roll set arranged upstream, i.e., the inclination of both inner side surfaces 37 may be changed so that the material passing through the multiple horizontal roll sets has a sequentially variable cross-sectional shape.

[0058] In this case, since the conformal forming portion 36 of the fourth rotating roll 32 has a cross-sectional shape that matches the negative angle forming portion 35 of the third rotating roll 31, the conformal forming portion of the fourth rotating roll in the horizontal roll set arranged downstream can have a cross-sectional shape different from the conformal forming portion of the fourth rotating roll of the horizontal roll set arranged upstream, i.e., the inclination of both outer side surfaces 38 can be changed.

[0059] For example, the inner side surfaces 37 of the negative angle forming section 35 and the outer side surfaces 38 of the positive angle forming section 36 become more steeply inclined as the horizontal roll set 30 is positioned downstream, thereby ultimately bending the portion of the blank 1 that forms the side wall 5 within the recess 3 of the product 2 toward the center of the blank at the desired angle.

[0060] 1 and 2, the multiple horizontal roll sets 30 may be arranged upstream of the multiple inclined roll sets 10 in the traveling direction x of the material 1, but this is not necessarily limited to this. For example, the multiple horizontal roll sets 30 may be arranged downstream of the multiple inclined roll sets 10, or the horizontal roll sets 30 and the inclined roll sets 10 may be arranged alternately in the traveling direction x of the material 1 as needed.

[0061] Alternatively, depending on the shape of the product, a set of inclined rolls may be arranged on one side of the center of the width direction y of the material 1 and a set of horizontal rolls may be arranged on the other side in parallel or alternately.

[0062] Therefore, when the plurality of horizontal roll sets and the plurality of inclined roll sets are appropriately arranged and used through design, the efficiency of forming can be further increased.

[0063] FIG. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating a process in which a blank is formed into a product having a variable cross-sectional shape by a roll stamping device according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0064] Referring to FIG. 6, when a plurality of horizontal roll sets 30 are arranged upstream of a plurality of inclined roll sets 10 in the traveling direction x of the material 1, the plurality of horizontal roll sets are arranged in multiple stages, so that the material can be gradually bent and shaped on both sides in the width direction y from A to E as it passes through the multiple stages of horizontal roll sets.

[0065] In order for the material 1 passing through the multiple horizontal roll sets 30 to have a sequentially variable cross-sectional shape, the negative angle forming portion 35 of the third rotating roll 31 in each horizontal roll set has both inner side surfaces 37 with varying inclinations as it moves from the upstream horizontal roll set to the downstream horizontal roll set.

[0066] Of course, since the conformal forming portion 36 of the fourth rotating roll 32 in each horizontal roll set 30 has a cross-sectional shape that matches the negative angle forming portion 35 of the third rotating roll 31, the conformal forming portion of the fourth rotating roll in each horizontal roll set has a slope on both outer side surfaces 38 that changes as it moves from the upstream horizontal roll set to the downstream horizontal roll set.

[0067] For example, the inner side surfaces 37 of the negative angle forming section 35 and the outer side surfaces 38 of the positive angle forming section 36 become more steeply inclined as the horizontal roll set 30 is arranged downstream, thereby allowing the blank 1 to be formed to have an inclined portion 6 inclined relative to the horizontal plane.

[0068] Next, when multiple inclined roll sets 10 are arranged in a staggered pattern on both sides of the center of the width direction y of the material 1, the multiple inclined roll sets are arranged in multiple stages and offset from each other, so that the inclined portions 6 that form the side walls 5 within the recess 3 of the product 2 on both sides of the material can have their bending angle changed little by little from F to I as they pass alternately through the multiple stages of inclined roll sets.

[0069] In order for the material 1 passing through the multiple inclined roll sets 10 to have a sequentially variable cross-sectional shape, the first forming portion 15 of the first rotating roll 11 of each inclined roll set arranged on the left side in the material traveling direction x can have a first groove portion 17 with a varying interior angle or depth as it moves from the upstream inclined roll set to the downstream inclined roll set.

[0070] In this case, the second forming portion 16 of the second rotating roll 12 has a cross-sectional shape that matches the mold to the first forming portion 15 of the first rotating roll 11, so that the second forming portion of the second rotating roll in each inclined roll set 10 arranged on the left side can have the first protrusion 18 have an angle or protrusion length that changes as it moves from the upstream inclined roll set to the downstream inclined roll set.

[0071] The first forming portion 15 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second forming portion 16 of the second rotating roll 12 of each inclined roll set 10 arranged on the right side in the traveling direction x of the material 1 can also have the interior angle or depth of the first groove portion 17 and the angle or protruding length of the first protrusion portion 18 that change toward the downstream inclined roll set.

[0072] For example, the interior angle between the first groove portion 17 of the first forming section 15 and the first protrusion portion 18 of the second forming section 16 becomes smaller as the inclined roll set 10 is arranged downstream, thereby ultimately allowing the inclined portion 6 of the material 1 to be bent at an approximately right angle so as to form a side wall 5 in the recess 3 of the product 2.

[0073] In this way, the material 1 is gradually curved as it passes through the multi-stage horizontal roll set 30 and the multi-stage inclined roll set 10, and the recesses 3 are formed into the product 2 having a variable cross-sectional shape. As a result, not only is the material accurately and easily formed without shape error, but products having a variable cross-sectional shape can also be manufactured without a separate, complicated rotating roll moving device.

[0074] FIG. 7 is a diagram for comparing the interference between rolls in the roll stamping apparatus of the prior art and the present invention, where (a) is a schematic diagram showing the interference between rolls in the roll stamping apparatus of the prior art, and (b) is a schematic diagram showing that there is no interference between rolls in the inclined roll set 10 of the roll stamping apparatus of the present invention.

[0075] A conventional roll stamping device is configured with a set of multiple rolls, for example, including a pair of horizontal rolls R1 and R2 that rotate facing each other and have stamping forming portions applied to their outer surfaces. In this case, the greater the angle between the rotation axis of the corresponding roll and the side wall of the product, the greater the risk of interference between the rolls or between the roll and the material.

[0076] When the bent product shape (see, for example, Figures 1 and 2) is used as a reference, for example, if the product height is 20 mm and the curvature radius of the variable cross section is 1,500 mm, interference will occur between rolls R1 and R2 or between the roll and the material, as shown in Figure 7(a).

[0077] As another example, when the product height is 40 mm and the curvature radius of the variable cross section is 3,000 mm, interference occurs between the rolls R1 and R2 or between the roll and the material, as shown in Figure 7(a).

[0078] In FIG. 7(a), it can be seen that the rolls R1 and R2 are in contact with each other and interfere with each other.

[0079] The roll stamping device of the present invention includes, in addition to a plurality of horizontal roll sets 30, an inclined roll set 10 in which a first rotating roll 11 and a second rotating roll 12 are positioned at an incline with respect to the horizontal plane of the material 1.

[0080] In this way, the roll stamping device of the present invention includes an inclined first rotating roll 11 and a second rotating roll 12, i.e., by arranging the rotation axes 13, 14 of the rotating rolls at an angle, it is possible to reduce the angle between the rotation axes of the rotating rolls and the part of the material 1 that forms the side wall 5 within the recess 3 of the product 2.

[0081] For example, if the product height is 20 mm and the radius of curvature of the variable cross section is 1,500 mm, and the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 are inclined at an inclination angle α (see Figures 3 and 4) of 30 degrees, smooth forming can be performed without interference between the rotating rolls 11 and 12 or between the rotating rolls and the material, as shown in Figure 7(b).

[0082] Similarly, when the product height is 40 mm and the curvature radius of the variable cross section is 3,000 mm, if the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 are inclined with an inclination angle α (see Figures 3 and 4) of 30 degrees, it can be confirmed that the interference between the rotating rolls 11 and 12 and between the rotating rolls and the material is resolved, as shown in Figure 7(b).

[0083] As described above, according to the roll stamping device of the first embodiment of the present invention, by tilting the rotation axes 13, 14 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 to reduce the angle between the rotation axes and the portions forming the side walls of the recess 3 of the product 2 from the material 1, it is possible to form the material into a product having a relatively complex variable cross-sectional shape without interference between the rolls or between the rolls and the material, which occurs when the radius of curvature of the variable cross-section is small or the height of the product is high.

[0084] FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing a roll stamping apparatus according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 is a front view of FIG.

[0085] Here, the roll stamping device according to the second embodiment of the present invention differs only in that avoidance portions 20 and 40 are formed on the rotating roll, and the other components can be configured and used in the same manner as those described in the first embodiment of the present invention above, so detailed descriptions of the configurations and operations of the remaining components will be omitted.

[0086] A roll stamping apparatus according to a second embodiment of the present invention may include multiple tilt roll sets 10.

[0087] The tilted roll set 10 can include a first rotating roll 11 and a second rotating roll 12, the positions and angles of which are fixed. The first rotating roll and the second rotating roll can include rotation axes 13 and 14 that are parallel to each other and shaped portions (e.g., 15 and 16) formed on their outer surfaces.

[0088] In addition, the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 may include an avoidance portion 20 formed in the circumferential direction by a predetermined length.

[0089] A plurality of inclined roll sets 10 including the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 can be arranged at predetermined intervals from each other along the traveling direction x of the raw material 1.

[0090] 8, the plurality of inclined roll sets 10 may be arranged in a staggered pattern on both sides of the center of the width direction y of the material 1 so as not to interfere with each other. However, the arrangement of the inclined roll sets 10 is not necessarily limited thereto.

[0091] The first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 constituting the inclined roll set 10 can be disposed at an inclination. That is, the rotation axes 13 and 14 of the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll of the inclined roll set are parallel to each other but are not parallel to the horizontal plane of the material 1, but are inclined at a predetermined inclination angle α (see FIGS. 3 and 4).

[0092] The first rotating roll 11 may include a first molding portion 15 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, and the second rotating roll 12 may include a second molding portion 16 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, corresponding to the first molding portion.

[0093] The first molding section 15 is formed so that its interior angle or depth varies along the circumference of the first rotating roll 11, and the first molding section can have a shape that corresponds to and fits into the second molding section 16 of the second rotating roll 12.

[0094] A transition portion 19 may be formed on one side of the first rotating roll 11, for example, connecting a first circumferential groove portion 17 or a second circumferential protrusion portion 21, which is inclined relative to the rotation axis 13 of the first molding portion 15.

[0095] A transition portion 19 may be formed on one side of the second rotating roll 12, which is inclined with respect to the rotation axis 14 of the second molding portion 16, for example, connecting the first circumferential protrusion portion 18 or the second circumferential groove portion 22.

[0096] The avoidance portion 20 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 may be formed, for example, on the opposite side of the transition portion 19 by a predetermined length in the circumferential direction of each rotating roll.

[0097] In the avoidance section 20, the center line of the rotation axes 13 and 14 O (See Figures 3 and 4) At any one point on the surface, the radial distance from the center line O to the outer surface of the rotating rolls 11 and 12 is shorter than the inherent radius of the rotating rolls centered on that point.

[0098] Alternatively, although not shown, the avoidance portions 20 can be formed in a concave shape from the outer surfaces of the rotating rolls 11 and 12 toward the rotating shafts 13 and 14 .

[0099] As a result, the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12, which have the avoidance section 20 formed thereon, do not come into contact with the material 1 at the avoidance section, and the material passing through such an inclined roll set 10 can pass through without being shaped.

[0100] In other words, the avoidance section 20 is formed over a predetermined length in the circumferential direction on the outer periphery of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12, so that when the material 1 passes through the avoidance sections of the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll, it is not molded over a certain length.

[0101] The avoidance portion 20 of the first rotating roll 11 and the avoidance portion 20 of the second rotating roll 12 may be arranged to face each other, but this is not necessarily limited to this.

[0102] When the continuously supplied sheet-shaped material 1 passes between the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 configured in this manner, the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll rotate facing each other, and at the same time, the first forming section 15 and the second forming section 16 press both sides of the material, thereby forming a variable cross-sectional shape in a portion of the material.

[0103] As a result, the first shaping section 15 and the second shaping section 16 can shape a partial section of the raw material 1 at a desired bending angle on both sides in the width direction y.

[0104] Subsequently, when the material 1 passes between the avoidance section 20 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12, the material does not come into contact with the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll, and can pass through other certain sections of the material without being shaped.

[0105] FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining the inclined roll sets in the first and second embodiments of the present invention in comparison with each other.

[0106] As shown in FIG. 10(a), the inclined roll set 10 of the first embodiment does not have an escapement section, and during one rotation of the rotating rolls, the first shaping section 15 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second shaping section 16 of the second rotating roll press against both sides of the blank 1, thereby continuously forming a variable cross-sectional shape.

[0107] On the other hand, as shown in (b) of Figure 10, in the inclined roll set 10 of the second embodiment, the avoidance sections 20 facing each other prevent the material 1 from coming into contact with either of the rotating rolls when passing between the avoidance sections of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12, and therefore the material is not formed over a certain length.

[0108] In this way, when the avoidance sections 20 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 are arranged facing each other, the material 1 does not come into contact with the first rotating roll and the second rotating roll at all, so even if the spacing between the sections formed by the forming sections 15 and 16 changes, forming is possible without changing the inclined roll set 10, which ultimately has the advantage of being able to form products 2 of various lengths.

[0109] More specifically, if the traveling speed (m / min) of the material 1 is constant, the rotation speed (rev / min) of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 in the multiple inclined roll set 10 can be maintained constant when a certain section of the material is formed by the forming sections 15 and 16.

[0110] The avoidance sections 20 of the first rotating roll 11 and the second rotating roll 12 are arranged facing each other, and when the material 1 passes through another certain section without being formed, the length of the section that is not formed in the material can be adjusted by slowing down (or even stopping rotation) or speeding up the rotation speed of the multiple inclined roll sets 10.

[0111] In other words, by keeping the forward speed of the material 1 constant and varying the rotation speed of the inclined roll set 10 during forming and the rotation speed of the inclined roll set when not forming, it becomes possible to form products 2 that have the same shaped parts but different overall lengths.

[0112] For example, a product 2 such as a vehicle beam member having a constant section to be formed but a variable length can be formed and manufactured by a single roll stamping device.

[0113] The roll stamping apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention may further include a plurality of horizontal roll sets 30 .

[0114] The horizontal roll set 30 may include a third rotating roll 31 and a fourth rotating roll 32, the positions and orientations of which are fixed. The third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll may include rotation axes 33 and 34 parallel to each other and shaped portions (e.g., 35 and 36) formed on their outer surfaces.

[0115] In addition, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 may include an avoidance portion 40 formed in a predetermined length in the circumferential direction.

[0116] A plurality of horizontal roll sets 30 including the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 can be arranged at predetermined intervals from each other along the traveling direction x of the raw material 1.

[0117] The third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 constituting the horizontal roll set 30 can be arranged horizontally. That is, the rotation axes 33 and 34 of the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll of the horizontal roll set are parallel to each other and to the horizontal plane of the material 1.

[0118] The third rotating roll 31 may include at least one negative angle forming portion 35 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, and the fourth rotating roll 32 may include at least one positive angle forming portion 36 formed on its outer surface so as to have a variable cross section along its circumference, corresponding to the negative angle forming portion.

[0119] The negative angle forming portion 35 is formed so that its width or depth varies along the circumference of the third rotating roll 31, and the negative angle forming portion may have a shape that corresponds to and fits into the regular angle forming portion 36 of the fourth rotating roll 32.

[0120] For example, the negative angle forming portion 35 formed on the third rotating roll 31 of the horizontal roll set 30 and the positive angle forming portion 36 formed on the fourth rotating roll 32 may be formed to be inclined or curved at an angle other than a right angle relative to the rotation axes 33 and 34 of each rotating roll.

[0121] Alternatively, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 may each include a forming section in which a negative angle forming section and a positive angle forming section are combined, as shown in FIG.

[0122] The avoidance portions 40 of the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 can be formed, for example, on the opposite side to the forming portions 35, 36, by a predetermined length in the circumferential direction of each rotating roll.

[0123] The avoidance portion 40 is an arbitrary position on the center line of the rotating shafts 33, 34, and the radial distance from this center line to the outer surface is shorter than the radius of the rotating rolls 31, 32 having the corresponding position as the center.

[0124] Alternatively, although not shown, the avoidance portions 40 can be formed in a concave shape from the outer surfaces of the rotating rolls 31 and 32 toward the rotating shafts 33 and 34 .

[0125] As a result, the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32, on which the avoidance section 40 is formed, do not come into contact with the material 1 at the avoidance section, and the material passing through such a horizontal roll set 30 can pass through without being shaped.

[0126] In other words, the avoidance section 40 is formed over a predetermined length in the circumferential direction on the outer periphery of the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32, so that when the material 1 passes through the avoidance sections of the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll, it is not molded over a certain length.

[0127] The avoidance portion 40 of the third rotating roll 31 and the avoidance portion 40 of the fourth rotating roll 32 may be disposed to face each other, but are not necessarily limited thereto.

[0128] When the continuously supplied sheet-shaped material 1 passes between the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 configured in this manner, the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll rotate facing each other, and at the same time, the negative angle forming section 35 and the positive angle forming section 36 press both sides of the material to form a variable cross-sectional shape in the material.

[0129] As a result, the negative angle shaped portion 35 and the positive angle shaped portion 36 can form recesses 3 in the material 1 that have variable widths or variable depths.

[0130] Subsequently, when the material 1 passes between the avoidance section 40 of the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32, the material does not come into contact with the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll, and can pass through other certain sections of the material without being shaped.

[0131] For example, when the avoidance section 40 of the third rotating roll 31 and the avoidance section 40 of the fourth rotating roll 32 are arranged facing each other, the material 1 does not contact all of the third rotating roll and the fourth rotating roll. Therefore, even if the spacing between the sections formed by the forming sections 35 and 36 is changed, forming is possible without changing the horizontal roll set 30, and ultimately products 2 having various lengths can be formed.

[0132] More specifically, if the traveling speed (m / min) of the material 1 is constant, the rotation speed (rev / min) of the third rotating roll 31 and the fourth rotating roll 32 in the horizontal roll set 30 can be maintained constant when a certain section of the material is formed by the forming sections 35 and 36.

[0133] The avoidance sections 40 of the third rotating roll 31 and the avoidance sections 40 of the fourth rotating roll 32 are arranged to face each other, and when the material 1 passes through another certain section without being formed, the length of the section that is not formed can be adjusted by slowing down (or even stopping rotation) or speeding up the rotation speed of the multiple horizontal roll sets 30.

[0134] In other words, by keeping the traveling speed of the material 1 constant and varying the rotation speed of the horizontal roll set 30 during forming and when not forming, it becomes possible to form products 2 that have the same shaped parts but different overall lengths.

[0135] The avoidance sections 40 of the multiple horizontal roll sets 30 and the avoidance sections 20 of the multiple inclined roll sets 10 can be linked together, and the rotating avoidance sections 20, 40 can be positioned adjacent to each other toward the material, for example, at the same portion of the material, to allow the material to pass through.

[0136] The horizontal roll sets 30 may be arranged upstream of the inclined roll sets 10 in the traveling direction x of the material, but this is not necessarily limited to this. When the horizontal roll sets and the inclined roll sets are used and arranged appropriately according to design, the efficiency of forming can be further improved.

[0137] In this way, the material 1 can be gradually formed into a product 2 having a variable cross-sectional shape while passing through the multi-stage horizontal roll set 30 and the multi-stage inclined roll set 10. This not only allows the material to be accurately and easily formed without shape error, but also makes it possible to manufacture a product having a variable cross-sectional shape without a separate complicated rotating roll moving device.

[0138] Furthermore, when the avoidance sections 20, 40 are provided, products 2 having various lengths can be formed without changing the roll set.

Therefore, the embodiments disclosed in the specification and drawings are for illustrative purposes only, and do not limit the technical concept of the present invention.
