Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a composition for thermal evaporation, a thermal evaporation agent, and a method for enhancing a deodorizing effect. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, various deodorizers have been used to remove unpleasant odors such as cigarette smoke and sweat odors that remain in cars, rooms, etc. Bad odors tend to linger in small spaces such as cars, toilets, and kitchens, so there is a growing demand for deodorizers.
[0003] Known preparations for eliminating malodors include hand-pump agents and stand-alone deodorizers containing deodorizing ingredients, but hand-pump agents are time-consuming to distribute and apply evenly to the target space or surface, and stand-alone deodorizers do not provide satisfactory deodorizing effects. Therefore, deodorization has been carried out using a thermal vaporizer. A thermal vaporizer uses heating means to vaporize the active ingredient, and includes a chemical agent containing the active ingredient and a heating device. The chemical agent is heated by the heating device, and the active ingredient is vaporized into the space.
[0004] For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a heat-transfer formulation that is solid at room temperature, melts when heated, and becomes liquid as a whole, and from the components of the formulation that have become liquid upon heating, a drug as an active ingredient evaporates, and it is indicated that this formulation is suitable for use inside vehicles or indoors where metal products, ornamental plants, etc. are present. [0005] [Patent Document 1] International Publication No. 00 / 42117 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] In recent years, there has been growing awareness of air purification in pursuit of a cleaner environment, and further improvements in thermal vaporizers have been desired. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a composition for thermal evaporation to be used in a thermal evaporation agent, which can efficiently obtain an excellent deodorizing effect against malodors. [Means for solving the problem]

[Effects of the Invention]
[0009] The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention has an excellent deodorizing effect against malodors and can reduce the unpleasantness of malodors. Furthermore, isopropyl methylphenol hardly produces soot when it adheres to the surfaces of structural components that make up a space or to items placed in the space through evaporation, thereby reducing contamination of the area where it is used. Therefore, a thermal evaporation agent using the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention can be used safely and efficiently inside a vehicle or room. [0011] The composition for thermal evaporation, the thermal evaporation agent, and the method for enhancing the deodorizing effect of the present invention will be described in more detail below.
[0012] <Composition for thermal evaporation> The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention contains (A) isopropylmethylphenol and (B) a fragrance component.
[0013] (Isopropylmethylphenol) Isopropylmethylphenol (hereinafter referred to as "IPMP") is a component known as a bactericidal component. Through investigations by the present inventors, it has been found that IPMP has the effect of deodorizing malodors, and the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention contains IPMP as an active ingredient.
[0014] The IPMP content in the composition for thermal evaporation is preferably 50 to 80% by mass. By including 50% or more by mass of IPMP, the composition can fully exert its deodorizing effect against malodors upon thermal evaporation. Furthermore, if the IPMP content exceeds 80% by mass, although a deodorizing effect can be expected, the IPMP odor may be too strong, potentially impairing the user experience. Therefore, it is preferable to use an IPMP content of 80% by mass or less. The IPMP content is preferably 50% by mass or more, more preferably 55% by mass or more, and even more preferably 60% by mass or more. It is also preferably 80% by mass or less, more preferably 70% by mass or less, and even more preferably 65% by mass or less.
[0015] (Fragrance ingredient) In the present invention, the composition for thermal evaporation contains, as a fragrance component, at least one fragrance compound (hereinafter also referred to as "specific fragrance compound") selected from the group consisting of macrocyclic musk, nitro musk, polycyclic musk, chain musk, cycloalkane, cyclic alcohol other than IPMP, cyclic ketone, and chain ketone. These include musk-like fragrance compounds, and when thermally evaporated together with IPMP, the deodorizing effect against malodors is synergistically improved.
[0016] Examples of macrocyclic musks include 3-methylcyclopentadecanone (muscone), (E)-3-methyl-5-cyclopentadecen-1-one (muscenone), cyclopentadecanone, 5-cyclohexadecen-1-one, 8-cyclohexadecen-1-one, and (E)-3-methylcyclotetradec-5-en-1-one. macrocyclic ketones such as 1,4-dioxacycloheptadecane-5,17-dione (ethylene brassylate), 1-oxacycloheptadec-7-en-2-one (ambrettolide), 15-pentadecanolide (exaltolide), and oxacyclohexadec-12-en-2-one (habanolide).
[0017] Examples of nitro musks include 1-tert-butyl-3,5-dimethyl-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (musk xylol) and 3,5-dinitro-4-tert-butyl-2,6-dimethylacetophenone (musk ketone).
[0018] Examples of polycyclic musks include 4,6,6,7,8,8-hexamethyl-1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydrocyclopenta[g]isochromene (Galaxolide), 7-acetyl-1,1,3,4,4,6-hexamethyltetrahydronaphthalene (1-(5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-3,5,5,6,8,8-hexamethyl-2-naphthyl)ethan-1-one (Tonalide), 4-acetyl-6-tert-butyl-1,1-dimethylindan-4-yl methyl ketone, celestolide), 1,2,3,5,6,7-hexahydro-1,1,2,3,3-pentamethyl-4H-inden-4-one (cashmeran), etc.
[0019] Examples of chain musks include 2-[(1S)-1-[(1R)-3,3-dimethylcyclohexyl]ethoxy]-2-methylpropyl propionate (2-[1-(3,3-dimethylcyclohexyl)ethoxy]-2-methylpropyl propionate, Helbetolide).
[0020] Examples of cycloalkanes include cyclopentadecane.
[0021] Examples of cyclic alcohols other than IPMP include cyclopentadecanol (cyclopentadecan-1-ol).
[0022] Examples of cyclic ketones include cyclohexanone, cyclodecanone, and cycloundecanone.
[0023] Examples of the chain ketone include pentadecan-2-one and pentadecan-8-one.
[0024] The specific fragrance compounds may be used alone or in combination of two or more. (B) It is more preferable that the fragrance component (B) contains at least one fragrance compound selected from the group consisting of macrocyclic musks, polycyclic musks, cycloalkanes, cyclic alcohols other than IPMP, cyclic ketones, and chain ketones.
[0025] The specific fragrance compound is preferably contained in the composition for thermal evaporation in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by mass. By containing the specific fragrance compound in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more, an excellent deodorizing effect can be achieved through a synergistic effect with IPMP. Furthermore, if the content of the specific fragrance compound exceeds 10% by mass, the fragrance may become too strong, potentially impairing the feel of use. Therefore, it is preferable to use the specific fragrance compound in an amount of 10% by mass or less. The content of the specific fragrance compound is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more, and preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 7% by mass or less.
[0026] The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention may contain, in addition to the specific fragrance compounds described above, fragrance compounds known as fragrance components. Other fragrance compounds include, for example, floral fragrance compounds such as hydroxymethylpentylcyclohexenecarboxaldehyde (lyral), hydroxycitronellal, cyclamen aldehyde, geraniol, dihydromyrcenol, lilial, linalool, linalyl acetate, γ-methyl ionone, α-ionone, β-ionone, nerol, and phenoxyethyl isobutyrate; green fragrance compounds such as n-octanal and cis-3-hexenyl salicylate; gourmand fragrance compounds such as vanillin; and menthol fragrance compounds such as L-menthol.
[0027] The total content of the fragrance components in the composition for thermal evaporation is preferably 0.1 to 10% by mass. When the total content of the fragrance components is within this range, an excellent deodorizing effect can be exhibited due to the synergistic effect with IPMP. The total content of the fragrance components is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more, and is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 7% by mass or less.
[0028] The specific fragrance compound preferably accounts for 5% by mass or more, more preferably 10% by mass or more, of the total fragrance components. The proportion of the specific fragrance compound in the total fragrance components may be 100% by mass, i.e., the entire fragrance components may be composed of the specific fragrance compound.
[0029] The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention may contain other optional components within the range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. Examples of other optional components include evaporation aids, disintegrants, rust inhibitors, stabilizers, excipients, and pigments.
[0030] Examples of evaporation aids include foaming agents such as azodicarbonamide, zinc stearate, aluminum stearate, barium stearate, calcium stearate, zinc oxide, zinc carbonate, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, carbon black, antimony trioxide, decabromodiphenylene oxide, trimellitic anhydride, maleic anhydride, benzotriazole, 4,4'-oxybis(benzenesulfonylhydrazide), and urea. By using these in combination, the evaporation efficiency of the active ingredient can be adjusted.
[0031] The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention may contain a vaporization aid, but even if it does not contain a vaporization aid, IPMP and the fragrance component will be vaporized by thermal evaporation. 3When used in small spaces such as those listed below, IPMP and fragrance ingredients can be vaporized to every corner of the space without the use of a vaporization aid. Azodicarbonamide is a well-known and excellent vaporization aid, but when azodicarbonamide is heated and vaporized, soot is generated, which makes the surrounding area more susceptible to soot contamination. Therefore, not using azodicarbonamide reduces contamination of the surrounding area.
[0032] Examples of disintegrants include organic acid esters such as parahydroxybenzoates, stearates, ethyl lactate, and chlorophenyl salicylate; organic acids such as lactic acid, malic acid, fumaric acid, tartaric acid, adipic acid, and succinic acid; and inorganic acids such as phosphoric acid. The inclusion of a disintegrant promotes disintegration of the composition for thermal evaporation by heating, thereby increasing the efficiency of evaporation of the active ingredient.
[0033] Examples of the rust inhibitor include 1,2,3-benzotriazole and dicyclohexylammonium nitrite.
[0034] Examples of the stabilizer include dibutylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, and tocopherol.
[0035] Examples of excipients include minerals such as perlite, talc, diatomaceous earth, clay, bentonite, and clay minerals; sugars such as sucrose and glucose; and sugar alcohols such as maltitol, sorbitol, and xylitol.
[0036] Furthermore, other active ingredients such as deodorants, insecticides, pest repellents, bactericides and disinfectants other than the above-mentioned IPMP may be contained as needed, provided that the effects of the present invention are not impaired.

[0039] Examples of pest repellents include DEET, dibutyl succinate, hydroxyanisole, rotenone, and ethyl-butylacetylaminopropionate.
[0040] Examples of disinfectants and sterilizers include parahydroxybenzoic acid esters, PCMX, IPBC, chlorhexidine gluconate, chlorhexidine hydrochloride, benzethonium chloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride.
[0041] The form of the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention is not particularly limited, and it can be in any form, such as a solid form such as granules, lumps, particles, powder, tablets, etc. Among these, it is preferable to use it in granular form. When a solid composition for thermal evaporation is prepared, each component may be molded into a desired shape using a known granulator or molding machine.
[0042] To produce the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention, component (A) IPMP and component (B) a flavor component are mixed in predetermined amounts, granulated using a binder, solvent, etc., and dried to form granules, powders, fine granules, etc. When granules are granulated, for example, the particles are preferably cylindrical with a particle size of about 0.5 to 5 mm and a length of about 1 to 30 mm. The particle size of the granules is preferably 1 mm or more at the lower limit and 3 mm or less at the upper limit.
[0043] Examples of binders used during granulation include one or more of celluloses such as carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxymethyl cellulose, and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose; starch-based compounds such as pregelatinized starch, beta-starch, dextrin, and starch; natural polymer compounds such as gum arabic; and synthetic polymer compounds such as polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone. These binders may be blended in an amount of 0.5 to 5.0% by mass relative to the composition for thermal evaporation.

Examples of suitable solvents include glycol ethers such as cholesteryl monomethyl ether, tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether, tripropylene glycol monobutyl ether, propylene glycol monopropyl ether, dipropylene glycol monopropyl ether, propylene glycol monobutyl ether, propylene glycol tert-butyl ether, dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether, dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether, phenyl carbitol, phenyl cellosolve, and benzyl carbitol; paraffins such as liquid paraffin and n-paraffin; esters such as diethyl phthalate, benzyl benzoate, triethyl citrate, and isopropyl myristate; and others such as 3-methyl-4-methoxybutanol, N-methylpyrrolidone, and propylene carbonate. These solvents may be used alone or in any combination of two or more. They may also be mixed with the above-mentioned fragrance components to form a fragrance composition.
[0045] When IPMP and a flavor component are blended into the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention, IPMP and the flavor component can be mixed and kneaded together during granulation, or they can be sprayed or immersed in the composition after granulation to retain the components.
[0046] <Heat evaporation agent> The composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention is housed in a self-heating device 1 as shown in FIG. 1 and used in the form of a thermal evaporation agent 10. The self-heating device 1 comprises a cylindrical container 2 with a bottom, which contains a hydrated exothermic substance 8 extending from the bottom to the side. The container 2 has a plurality of water-passing holes 21 at its bottom, which are blocked by a water-permeable member, such as a nonwoven fabric sheet 3. The interior of the container 2 is divided into two spaces by a partition member 4. The partition member 4 is cylindrical with a roughly hollow hemispherical bottom, and its sidewall is arranged concentrically with the peripheral wall of the container 2. The hydrated exothermic substance 8 is filled in the space formed by the peripheral wall of the container 2, the partition member 4, and the nonwoven fabric sheet 3, and the heated evaporation composition 7 is contained inside the partition member 4. The open upper surface of the container 2 is covered with a lid member 5 having multiple openings formed in an area corresponding to the open upper surface of the partition member 4, and the openings of the lid member 5 are further closed with a hot-melt resin film 6 having ventilation holes.
[0047] The heating temperature of the thermal evaporation composition of the present invention is preferably in the range of about 200°C to 470°C, more preferably 250°C to 350°C, when measured at the bottom of the partition member 4.
[0048] The hydrated exothermic substance 8 used in the self-heating device 1 is a substance that generates heat by reacting with the hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W, and examples thereof include calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, a mixture of iron powder and an oxidizer, a mixture of sodium sulfide and iron carbide, and mixtures thereof. Of these, calcium oxide and calcium carbonate are preferred in terms of the speed of reaction when reacted with the hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W and their ease of availability. The hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W may be water or a liquid in which various additives have been added to water.
[0049] In the present invention, the hydrated exothermic substance 8 and the hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W are preferably used in a mass ratio of 1:0.01 to 1:3 in order to generate heat efficiently. Furthermore, by adjusting the molar ratio of the hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W to the hydrated exothermic substance 8 to be 0.25 to 3, heat generation can be improved.
[0050] In such a heat generating system, the hydrated exothermic substance 8 is preferably used in an amount of 1 to 30 times by mass relative to the heating / evaporation composition 7, and more specifically, 30 to 300 g of the hydrated exothermic substance 8 is preferably used for 1 to 100 g of the heating / evaporation composition 7. Furthermore, the hydrated exothermic reaction liquid W may be added in an amount of 0.05 to 2 times by mass relative to the hydrated exothermic substance 8.
[0051] Therefore, when in use, the self-heating device 1 is placed in the water container 9 containing the liquid for exothermic reaction with hydration W. The liquid for exothermic reaction with hydration W flows into the container 2 through the water passage 21, penetrates the nonwoven fabric sheet 3, and comes into contact with the exothermic substance 8. The heat of reaction generated heats the composition for thermal evaporation 7, causing component (A) IPMP and component (B) fragrance component to volatilize and be released to the outside (such as the interior of a vehicle or a room) through the ventilation holes in the heat-melt resin film 6. Furthermore, because the heat-melt resin film 6 is thermally melted by the heat released from the composition for thermal evaporation 7 and by contact with the volatilized components, IPMP and fragrance component are efficiently released to the outside through the opening in the lid member 5 from a relatively early stage of evaporation.
[0052] Examples of heating means other than the above-mentioned hydration heat generating system include electric heating systems using electric heating wires such as nichrome wire, or flat or ring-shaped heaters or heaters that utilize semiconductors; systems that generate heat through oxidation reactions, such as mixing iron powder with an oxidizer such as ammonium chlorate, mixing a metal with a metal oxide or oxidizer that has a lower ionization tendency than the metal, contacting a mixture of iron and potassium sulfate, iron sulfate, metal chloride, iron sulfide, or the like with water or oxygen, contacting a mixture of a metal with a higher ionization tendency than iron and a metal halide with a lower ionization tendency than iron with water, contacting a mixture of a metal and a bisulfate with water, or adding water to a mixture of aluminum and an alkali metal nitrate; and systems that generate heat by utilizing the oxidation reaction of metal sulfides, in which a mixture of sodium sulfate and iron carbide is contacted with oxygen.
[0053] <Where to use heated vaporizers> The heating evaporation agent containing the heating evaporation composition of the present invention is 10 ml 3 It is suitable for use in the following small spaces, specifically in vehicles such as cars, buses, and trains, and in rooms that form enclosed spaces in the home such as toilets, kitchens, and bathrooms. Furthermore, the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention has an excellent deodorizing effect against various malodors, such as tobacco odor, sweat odor, and mold odor, and is therefore suitable for use as a thermal evaporation agent for cars.
[0054] <How to enhance the deodorizing effect> The present invention also provides a method for enhancing the deodorizing effect inside a room or vehicle. By heating and evaporating the composition for thermal evaporation of the present invention, the deodorizing effect against malodors can be enhanced due to the synergistic effect of (A) isopropyl methylphenol and (B) at least one fragrance compound selected from the group consisting of macrocyclic musk, nitro musk, polycyclic musk, chain musk, cycloalkane, cyclic alcohol other than isopropyl methylphenol, cyclic ketone, and chain ketone. [Example]
[0055] The present invention will be specifically described in the following examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0056] <Test Example 1> Example 1 [Preparation of composition for thermal evaporation] 65 parts by mass of isopropylmethylphenol (IPMP), 33 parts by mass of talc, and 2 parts by mass of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose were mixed, granulated, and dried to obtain cylindrical granules with a particle size of 2 mm and a length of 1 to 30 mm. 0.87 g of the resulting granules (IPMP content: approximately 0.57 g) were mixed with 0.05 g of the fragrance compound 3-methylcyclopentadecanone (muscone) to impregnate the granules with the fragrance compound, producing a composition for thermal evaporation. The composition for thermal evaporation contained 62% by mass of IPMP and 5.4% by mass of the fragrance compound.
[0057] [Preparation of heated vaporizable agent] The composition for thermal evaporation prepared above was used to prepare a thermal evaporation agent 10 as shown in FIG. The self-heating device 1 was equipped with a cylindrical container 2 with a bottom, measuring 53 mm in diameter, 63 mm in height, and 40 mm in depth, and contained 75 g of low-temperature quicklime (a mixture of 65% by mass of calcium oxide and 35% by mass of calcium carbonate) as the hydrated exothermic substance 8. The container 2 had multiple water-passing holes 21 at its bottom, which were blocked with a water-permeable nonwoven fabric sheet 3. The interior of the container 2 was divided into two spaces by a partition member 4. The partition member 4 was cylindrical with a roughly hollow hemispherical bottom, and its side wall was arranged concentrically with the peripheral wall of the container 2. The hydrated exothermic substance 8 was filled into the space formed by the peripheral wall of the container 2, the partition member 4, and the nonwoven fabric sheet 3, and the above-prepared composition for thermal evaporation 7 was contained inside the partition member 4. In addition, a 0.8 cm 2 space was filled into the upper open surface of the container 2 in an area corresponding to the upper open surface of the partition member 4. 2 The container was covered with a lid member 5 having seven openings formed therein, and the openings of the lid member 5 were further closed with a heat-melting resin film 6 having ventilation holes, thereby producing the heat-transpirable agent of Example 1.
[0058] In addition, as a comparison with the heat-transmittable agent of Example 1, a heat-transmittable agent (Reference Example 1-1) in which only granules (0.87 g) were contained inside the partition member 4, and a heat-transmittable agent (Reference Example 1-2) in which only the fragrance compound (0.05 g) was contained inside the partition member 4 were prepared.
[0059] [Test method] 1. Polyester fabric used for automobile roof components was shredded into 5cm x 5cm pieces, 100μL of acetic acid was dropped onto the pieces, and after drying, cigarette smoke was applied to the pieces for 5 to 7 seconds to obtain test pieces. 2. Next, the test piece was attached to a petri dish (diameter 9 cm, height 1 cm). 3.1m 3 A petri dish with a test specimen attached was placed on the ceiling of the chamber, and a heated vaporizer was placed approximately in the center of the chamber floor. Fumigation was initiated by immersing the heated vaporizer in a water container containing 22 mL of water, and the chamber was then sealed and allowed to smoke for 3 hours. After 4.3 hours, the odor of the test pieces was evaluated by a panel. 5. As a control, test pieces were left in the chamber for 3 hours without being smoked with a heated vaporizer, and were evaluated in the same manner.
[0060] [Evaluation method] Ten expert panelists scored the test specimens for malodor intensity and pleasantness / unpleasantness according to the following evaluation criteria, and the average of each score was calculated as the "evaluation score" for each example. (1) Evaluation criteria for odor intensity (6-point scale) 5 points: Strong odor 4 points: Strong odor 3 points: Easily detectable odor 2 points: I can tell what it is 1 point: barely detectable smell 0 points: Odorless (2) Evaluation criteria for comfort and discomfort (9-point scale) 4 points: Extremely comfortable 3 points: Very comfortable 2 points: Good 1 point: Somewhat comfortable 0 points: Neither pleasant nor unpleasant -1 point: Slightly uncomfortable -2 points: Uncomfortable -3 points: Very uncomfortable -4 points: Extremely uncomfortable
[0061] The results are shown in Figures 2 and 3.
[0062] (Examples 2 to 11, Comparative Examples 1 and 2) Examples 2 to 11 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were evaluated in the same manner as Example 1, except that the fragrance compounds were changed to the compounds listed in Table 1. In Example 11, 0.05 g of a fragrance mixture containing 15-pentadecanolide and 7-acetyl-1,1,3,4,4,6-hexamethyltetrahydronaphthalene was used as the fragrance compound. The results are shown in Figures 2 and 3.

[0064] As can be seen from Figures 2 and 3, when the heat-transpirable agents containing only granules containing IPMP (Reference Examples 1-1 to 11-1) and the heat-transpirable agents containing only the specific fragrance compounds of the present invention (Reference Examples 1-2 to 11-2) were each heated and evaporated, a deodorizing effect was obtained compared to the control. However, when the heat-transpirable agents of Examples 1 to 11 were heated and evaporated by combining IPMP with the specific fragrance compound, a high deodorizing effect was obtained and the discomfort level was further reduced. In contrast, when a floral fragrance compound was used, the heat-transpirable agent of Comparative Example 2, even when IPMP and the floral fragrance compound were combined, only achieved approximately the same effect as when each compound was evaporated alone. For green fragrance compounds, the heat-transpirable agent of Comparative Example 1, even when IPMP and the green fragrance compound were combined, did not achieve the same effect as when each compound was evaporated alone. Therefore, it was found that the effect of the present invention is a unique effect achieved when IPMP is combined with a specific fragrance compound.
[0065] <Test Example 2> (Reference example 12) Using the self-heating device used in Test Example 1, 1 g of IPMP was placed inside the partition member to prepare a heated vaporizable agent.
[0066] (Reference example 13) In the same manner as in Reference Example 12, the self-heating device used in Test Example 1 was used to prepare a heated vaporizable agent by placing 1 g of azodicarbonamide inside the partition member.
[0067] [Test method] 1. The heated vaporizer was placed on a piece of black paper measuring 30 cm in length and 30 cm in width, and then immersed in a container containing 22 mL of water to begin smoking. Immediately afterwards, a cylindrical chamber with a diameter of 20 cm, a height of 40 cm, and a bottom with an upward opening was placed in a position facing downwards to cover the heated vaporizer, and the chamber was then sealed and smoked for 30 minutes. After 2.30 minutes, the staining of the black paper was evaluated.
[0068] [Evaluation method] The condition of the black paper was visually inspected and evaluated based on the following criteria. (1) Evaluation criteria for the degree of contamination (5-point scale) 5 points: No difference in surface condition 4 points: Almost no difference in surface condition 3 points: There is some adhesion, but the difference is difficult to see 2 points: Adhesion is easily discernible and the difference is clear 1 point: Adhesion that impairs usability
[0069] The results are shown in Figure 4. As shown in Figure 4, in Reference Example 13, which used azodicarbonamide, white soot stains derived from the decomposition products adhered to the black paper (evaluation score: 1). On the other hand, in Reference Example 12, which used IPMP, only a small amount of IPMP adhered to the black paper (evaluation score: 2). This shows that when azodicarbonamide is used, its decomposition products adhere to interior materials such as floors and sheets when heated and evaporated, causing contamination. IPMP also showed adhesion to interior materials such as floors and sheets, but the degree of contamination was less than that of azodicarbonamide, and because the adhesion is a disinfectant component, a disinfecting effect can be expected in the areas where it adheres.
