Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to ceiling panels. [Background technology]
[0002] BACKGROUND ART Ceiling panels having a configuration in which a surface sheet is provided on the surface of various core materials have been known. For example, Patent Document 1 below discloses a ceiling panel configured such that the interior side and four peripheral end faces of a foamed resin layer are continuously covered with a surface layer. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2019-173537 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, with the ceiling panel described in Patent Document 1, although it is possible to cover the four peripheral edge faces of the core material, there is a concern that manufacturing efficiency will decrease if ceiling panels of different dimensions are required. Also, since both side ends in the first direction are fixed to the ceiling substrate arranged at intervals in the first direction, sagging and the like are less likely to occur, but there is a concern that both side ends in the second direction may be more susceptible to sagging and the like.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned situation, and aims to provide a ceiling panel that can cover the four peripheral end faces of the core material while being able to accommodate dimensional changes in the second direction and suppress sagging at both end points in the second direction. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the ceiling panel of the present disclosure is characterized by comprising a panel body having a core material that is rectangular in plan view and a sheet that covers the surface of the core material and covers the end faces of the ends of both sides in a first direction of the four sides of the core material in a continuous manner from the portion covering the surface; long reinforcing metal fittings that have end face protection piece portions that cover the exposed end faces of both sides in a second direction of the four sides of the core material and are attached along both sides in the second direction of the panel body; and fixing portions that are provided on both sides in the first direction of the panel body and are fixed to the ceiling substructure. [Effects of the Invention]
[0007] The ceiling panel of the present disclosure has the above-described configuration, which allows it to cover the four peripheral edge surfaces of the core material while accommodating dimensional changes in the second direction and suppressing sagging at both end portions in the second direction. [Figure 5] 4(a) to 4(c) are diagrams schematically illustrating a modified example of the ceiling panel, and correspond to FIGS. 4(a) to 4(c), respectively. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. In some drawings, some of the detailed reference numerals used in other drawings are omitted. In the following embodiment, directions such as the up and down directions will be described based on the state in which the ceiling panel according to this embodiment is installed. 1 to 5 are diagrams schematically showing an example and a modified example of a ceiling panel according to the present embodiment.
[0010] 1, the ceiling panel 1 according to this embodiment includes a panel main body 10 that is rectangular in plan view, and elongated reinforcing metal fittings 20, 20, 23, 23 attached along each of the four sides of the panel main body 10. With this configuration, the four peripheral edges (first edge 11 and second edge 12) that make up the four sides of the panel main body 10 can be reinforced by the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 20, 23, 23, and sagging or the like at the four peripheral edges can be suppressed when installed, making this a suitable ceiling panel 1. The reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 include first reinforcing metal fittings 20, 20 attached along first end portions 11, 11 that constitute both first-direction sides of the four sides of the panel body 10. The reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 include second reinforcing metal fittings 23, 23 attached along second end portions 12, 12 that constitute both second-direction sides of the four sides of the panel body 10 that are perpendicular to the first direction.
[0011] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the ceiling panel 1 includes a fixing member 30 that fixes the overlapping ends 21 a, 28 a of adjacent reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 to the panel main body 10 at the four corners of the panel main body 10. The fixing member 30 includes a covering piece 31 that is arranged to cover the overlapping ends 21 a, 28 a of the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23. The fixing member 30 includes a fastening piece 35 that is inserted into the layer of the panel main body 10 so as to overlap with the covering piece 31 in the panel thickness direction, and to which a fastener 3 that penetrates the covering piece 31 is fastened. With this configuration, the fastening piece 35 and the covering piece 31 are fastened together by the fastener 3 with a portion of the panel main body 10 and the ends 21 a, 28 a of the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 sandwiched between the fastening piece 35 inserted into the layer of the panel main body 10 and the covering piece 31. This allows the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 to be more firmly fixed to the panel body 10 via the fixing members 30, compared to a configuration in which the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 are fixed to the panel body 10 only with adhesive or directly with the fasteners 3. Furthermore, the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 on all four peripheries are connected by the fixing members 30 at the four corners that secure them to the panel body 10. Therefore, compared to a configuration in which the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 are individually secured to the panel body 10, the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 on all four peripheries are less likely to become misaligned, and the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 on all four peripheries can be stably secured to the panel body 10. Furthermore, the covering piece portions 31 of the fixing members 30 and the heads of the fasteners 3 can be positioned on the ceiling substrate 2 side of the ceiling panel 1, improving the appearance from the indoor side.
[0012] Of the reinforcing metal fittings 20, 23 on the four sides, the first reinforcing metal fittings 20, 20 on both sides in the first direction or the second reinforcing metal fittings 23, 23 on both sides in the second direction are provided with fixing pieces 22, 22 that form fixing portions that are fixed to the ceiling substructure 2. With this configuration, the ceiling panel 1 can be fixed to the ceiling substructure 2 via the fixing piece 22 of one of the reinforcing metal fittings on both sides in the first direction or the second direction (in this example, the first reinforcing metal fitting 20). Furthermore, since the other reinforcing metal fitting (the second reinforcing metal fitting 23) is connected to one of the reinforcing metal fittings (the first reinforcing metal fitting 20) fixed to the ceiling substructure 2 via the fixing member 30 and fixed to the panel main body 10, it is expected that the other reinforcing metal fitting (the second reinforcing metal fitting 23) will be prevented from falling off in the event of a fire or the like.
[0013] The panel main body 10 includes a core material 13 that is rectangular in plan view. The panel main body 10 covers a surface (second surface in the panel thickness direction) 13b of the core material 13 and includes a sheet (second sheet) 17 that extends from the portion covering the second surface 13b to cover end faces (first end faces) 14a of end portions (first end portions) 14 on both sides in the first direction of the four sides of the core material 13. With this configuration, the first end faces 14a of the first end portions 14 of the core material 13 can be covered by the second sheet 17. The ceiling panel 1 has end surface protection pieces 25 that cover exposed end surfaces (second end surfaces) 15a of both sides in the second direction of the core material 13, and is equipped with elongated reinforcing metal fittings (second reinforcing metal fittings) 23 attached along both sides in the second direction of the panel main body 10. The ceiling panel 1 is equipped with fixing portions (fixing pieces) 22 that are provided on both sides in the first direction of the panel main body 10 and fixed to the ceiling substrate 2. With this configuration, the fixing pieces 22 on both sides in the first direction of the panel main body 10 can be fixed to the ceiling substrate 2. Furthermore, the second end surface 15a of the second end 15 of the core material 13 can be covered by the end surface protection pieces 25 of the second reinforcing metal fittings 23. This eliminates the need to continuously cover the second end surface 15a with the second sheet 17 that covers the second surface 13b side, making it easy to accommodate dimensional changes in the second direction. The second reinforcing brackets 23 are attached along both second-direction edges of the panel body 10, which are opposite the first-direction edges fixed to the ceiling substrate 2. Therefore, the second reinforcing brackets 23 can suppress sagging on the second-direction edges that are not fixed to the ceiling substrate 2.
[0014] The ceiling substructure 2 to which this ceiling panel 1 is fixed may be a long rafter that is spaced apart in a first direction and extends in a second direction, as shown in Figure 1. The rafters that make up this ceiling substructure 2 may be made of light steel material and constitute a so-called light ceiling substructure (steel ceiling substructure). This ceiling substructure 2 may be configured to be supported by long rafter supports that are spaced apart in the second direction and extend in the first direction. The steel ceiling substructure may include hangers that suspend and support such rafter supports, and hanging bolts that are inserted into the insertion holes of the hangers and secured with nuts. This ceiling panel 1 may be installed as a ceiling for relatively small buildings such as residences and offices, or may be installed as a ceiling for various relatively large buildings such as gymnasiums, halls, shopping malls, factories, and schools.
[0015] The ceiling panel 1 may be substantially square or rectangular in plan view. The size of the ceiling panel 1 in plan view may be any size appropriate from the standpoint of ease of handling and installation. When the ceiling panel 1 is arranged to make up most of the ceiling surface, the size of the ceiling panel 1 in plan view may be approximately the same as that of a typical ceiling panel, and for example, the length of one side may be 0.3 m or more and 2.5 m or less. In a substantially rectangular ceiling panel 1, the length of the short side may be 0.3 m or more and the length of the long side may be 2.5 m or less. In a substantially square ceiling panel 1, the length of one side may be 0.6 m or more and 1.5 m or less, and may be approximately 0.8 m to 1.2 m. The thickness of the panel body 10 of this ceiling panel 1 depends on the layer structure, etc., but may be, for example, about 2.5 mm to 15.0 mm, preferably about 3.0 mm to 12.0 mm, and more preferably about 3.0 mm to 6.0 mm. When this ceiling panel 1 is used as an inspection hatch panel for opening and closing an inspection hatch, the dimensions should be set according to the size of the inspection hatch, and may be smaller than the size of a typical ceiling panel.
[0016] As shown in FIG. 3(b), the panel body 10 includes a first sheet 16 covering a first surface 13a in the panel thickness direction, which is the surface of the core material 13 facing the ceiling substrate. A second sheet 17 covering a second surface 13b, which is the surface of the core material 13 facing the interior of the room, extends from the portion covering the second surface 13b to cover a first end surface 14a of the first end portion 14 and the first sheet 16 on the first surface 13a side of the first end portion 14. In other words, the second sheet 17 includes an end surface sheet portion 18 covering the first end surface 14a and a substrate-side sheet portion 19 covering the first sheet 16 on the first surface 13a side of the first end portion 14. This configuration improves the appearance of the end surfaces of the first end portions 11, 11 on both sides of the panel body 10 in the first direction. Furthermore, compared to a configuration in which the second sheet 17 is not provided on the first surface 13a side or a configuration in which an edge sheet is attached to the first end surface 14a, peeling of the second sheet 17 (end surface sheet portion 18) covering the first end surface 14a can be suppressed.
[0017] The core material 13 of this panel body 10 may be gypsum board, calcium silicate board, or the like, but is a foamed resin or fiber-based core material 13. With this configuration, the weight of the panel body 10 can be reduced compared to a configuration in which the panel body 10 includes a wood-based board, gypsum board, or the like. Examples of the foamed resin core material 13 include those formed from resin compositions such as polyurethane resin, polystyrene resin, polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin, phenolic resin, and epoxy resin. Examples of the fiber-based core material 13 include those formed from mineral fibers such as glass wool and rock wool. In the illustrated example, the core material 13 is a foamed resin layer. This core material 13 occupies the majority of the panel body 10, and its thickness may be, for example, approximately 80% to 99% of the thickness of the panel body 10. The first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17 may include a flame-retardant layer. Such a flame-retardant layer may be appropriately configured so that the ceiling panel 1 meets the technical standards for performance required for non-combustible materials, etc., set forth in the Building Standards Act. For example, the ceiling panel 1 may be configured to meet the technical standards for "flame-retardant materials," preferably, the standards for "semi-non-combustible materials," and more preferably, the standards for "non-combustible materials." For example, the flame-retardant layer may be a metal sheet, such as a thin foil aluminum sheet.
[0018] The first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17 may be provided with a reinforcing layer containing reinforcing fibers such as glass fibers. The reinforcing layer may be a reinforcing fiber sheet such as glass cloth, or a fiber-reinforced resin layer such as a glass fiber-reinforced resin layer in which a reinforcing fiber sheet is impregnated with resin. In this case, the first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17 may be laminated and integrated with the core material 13 via the fiber-reinforced resin layer when the core material 13 is formed. The surface (indoor side) of the second sheet 17 may be a decorative surface that has been subjected to an appropriate surface treatment such as attachment of a decorative sheet, printing, or painting. The width dimension in the first direction of the substrate-side sheet portion 19 of the second sheet 17 may be an appropriate dimension from the viewpoints of reinforcing the first end portion 11, preventing peeling, and reducing weight. For example, the width dimension of this substrate-side sheet portion 19 may be about 1 to 15 times, and preferably about 2 to 10 times, the thickness dimension of the panel main body 10. A recessed step portion for receiving this substrate-side sheet portion 19 may be provided on the ceiling substrate side of the first end portion 11.
[0019] 1, the first reinforcing brackets 20, 20 are elongated in the second direction and are provided so as to extend over substantially the entire second direction of the panel body 10. These first reinforcing brackets 20, 20 include mounting pieces 21, 21 that are attached to the substrate side surface of the first end parts 11, 11, and fixing pieces 22, 22. The first reinforcing brackets 20, 20 on both sides in the first direction have the same configuration except for the fixing pieces 22, 22, and therefore the same configuration will be described using one of them as an example. The mounting piece portion 21 is plate-shaped with its thickness direction aligned with the panel thickness direction. As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the mounting piece portion 21 is provided with a plurality of elongated holes with their major axes extending in the second direction and spaced apart in the second direction. End portions 21a, 21a located at the four corners of the panel main body 10, which are both longitudinal ends of the mounting piece portion 21, are sandwiched between the covering piece portion 31 and the fastening piece portion 35 of the fixing member 30. The mounting piece portion 21 may be attached to the substrate side surface of the first end portion 11 of the panel main body 10 using an appropriate adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive, or the like in addition to the fixing member 30.
[0020] The fixing piece portion 22 is plate-shaped, with its thickness direction being the panel thickness direction. The fixing piece portion 22 is provided so as to be located outside the mounting piece portion 21 in the first direction. As shown in FIG. 3(b), the fixing piece portion 22 is provided so as to extend outward in the first direction from the rising tip of a rising piece portion that rises from the outer end of the mounting piece portion 21 in the first direction toward the ceiling substrate 2 in the panel thickness direction. The fixing piece portion 22 is provided so as to extend outward in the first direction beyond the end face of the first end 11 of the panel main body 10. As shown in FIG. 1, the fixing piece portion 22 has portions recessed in the first direction and portions protruding in the first direction that are alternately provided in the second direction. Some of the protruding portions have insertion holes through which fasteners that are fastened to the ceiling substrate 2 are inserted. The ceiling panels 1, 1 adjacent in the first direction may be fixed to the ceiling substrate 2 in a state where their protruding portions overlap each other, so that the protruding portions of the fixing piece portions 22 of one of the fixing pieces 22 cover the recessed portions of the other fixing piece portion 22. In the illustrated example, recessed portions are provided at both ends in the second direction of the fixing piece portion 22 on one side in the first direction, and protruding portions are provided at both ends in the second direction of the fixing piece portion 22 on the other side in the first direction. The fixing piece portion 22 fixed to the ceiling substrate 2 is not limited to this configuration, and various other configurations may be used.
[0021] The second reinforcing metal fittings 23, 23 are elongated in the first direction and are provided so as to extend over substantially the entire first direction of the panel main body 10. The second reinforcing metal fittings 23, 23 on both sides in the second direction have the same configuration, so one of them will be described below as an example. 1 and 4, the end surface protection piece 25 of this second reinforcing bracket 23 is provided with an engaging portion 26 that engages with an engaging portion 26 provided on the end surface protection piece 25 of the ceiling panel 1 adjacent in the second direction. With this configuration, by engaging the engaging portions 26, 26 of the end surface protection piece portions 25, 25 of the ceiling panels 1, 1 adjacent in the second direction, it is possible to suppress steps at both side ends in the second direction. The engagement portion 26 may include engagement protrusions 26a and engagement recesses 26b that are alternately arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the end surface protection piece 25 and that are positioned dyad-symmetrically about the longitudinal center. With this configuration, the engagement protrusions 26a and engagement recesses 26b of the end surface protection piece portions 25, 25 of adjacent ceiling panels 1, 1 in the second direction can be engaged with each other to reduce steps at both end portions in the second direction. Furthermore, the second reinforcing bracket 23 on one side in the second direction and the second reinforcing bracket 23 on the other side in the second direction can be formed as a common component.
[0022] The dimension of the engagement recess 26b in the first direction is larger than the dimension of the engagement protrusion 26a in the first direction. With this configuration, even if there is a misalignment in the first direction between the ceiling panels 1, 1 adjacent to each other in the second direction, the engagement protrusion 26a can be engaged with the engagement recess 26b. The engaging protrusion 26a and the engaging recess 26b may be formed so that, when engaged with each other, the dimension (engagement dimension) of the engaging protrusion 26a in the second direction within the engaging recess 26b is 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm. This configuration allows the engaging protrusion 26a and the engaging recess 26b to be appropriately engaged with each other, reducing the likelihood of unevenness and facilitating removal after installation. In other words, if the engagement dimension is too small, sufficient engagement is not achieved, and unevenness tends to occur between adjacent ceiling panels 1, 1 in the second direction. On the other hand, if the engagement dimension is too large, removal tends to be difficult when the ceiling panel 1 is disengaged by moving it roughly in the panel thickness direction. The engagement dimension may be the dimension in the second direction from the opening periphery of the engaging recess 26b facing outward in the second direction to the protruding tip of the engaging protrusion 26a inserted into the engaging recess 26b when properly engaged with each other. The engagement dimension may preferably be 2.0 mm or less.
[0023] Specifically, the end surface protection piece 25 is formed in a plate shape with its thickness direction being the second direction, as shown in Figures 3(a) and 4. The end surface protection piece 25 is provided so as to cover substantially the entire second end surface 15a of the second end portion 15 where the core material 13 is exposed. In this example, the end face protection piece 25 is provided with one engaging protrusion 26a and one engaging recess 26b. The engaging protrusion 26a and the engaging recess 26b are provided so as to be equidistant from the longitudinal center of the end face protection piece 25. The dimension in the first direction from the longitudinal center of the end face protection piece 25 to the first direction center of the engaging protrusion 26a may be the same as the dimension in the first direction from the longitudinal center of the end face protection piece 25 to the first direction center of the engaging recess 26b. The engaging protrusion 26a and the engaging recess 26b are provided so as to be engaged with the engaging recess 26b and the engaging protrusion 26a of the other end face protection piece 25 rotated 180 degrees around an axis along the panel thickness direction relative to the end face protection piece 25 on which they are provided.
[0024] Instead of providing one engaging protrusion 26a and one engaging recess 26b in the end face protection piece 25, two or more engaging protrusions 26a and two or more engaging recesses 26b may be provided. In this case, too, the engaging protrusions 26a and the engaging recesses 26b may be provided alternately at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the end face protection piece 25 and at positions that are dyad-symmetrical about the longitudinal center. For example, an engaging recess 26b further provided longitudinally outward of the engaging protrusion 26a on the longitudinal center side and an engaging protrusion 26a further provided longitudinally outward of the engaging recess 26b on the longitudinal center side may be provided at positions equidistant from the longitudinal center of the end face protection piece 25.
[0025] The engaging protrusion 26a is provided so as to protrude outward in the second direction from the surface of the end surface protection piece 25 facing outward in the second direction. The protruding dimension of the engaging protrusion 26a may be set appropriately so as to ensure the above-mentioned engagement dimension. The engaging protrusion 26a is formed so as to taper outward in the second direction when viewed (in vertical cross section) in the longitudinal direction (first direction) of the end surface protection piece 25. The tip of the engaging protrusion 26a in the protruding direction has a convex curved surface. In the illustrated example, the engaging protrusion 26a has approximately the same dimension in the first direction and in the panel thickness direction, and is approximately hemispherical. The engaging protrusion 26a may be fixed to the end surface protection piece 25 by adhesive, welding, or the like, but in the illustrated example, it is integrally formed with the end surface protection piece 25 by pressing or the like.
[0026] The engagement recess 26b is provided on the surface of the end surface protection piece 25 facing outward in the second direction so as to open outward in the second direction. In this example, the engagement recess 26b is a bottomed hole. With this configuration, the second end surface 15a of the core material 13 is not exposed in the engagement recess 26b, compared to a through hole, thereby improving the appearance. The engagement recess 26b is formed to widen outward in the second direction when viewed in vertical cross section. The bottom of the engagement recess 26b has a concave curved surface. In the illustrated example, the shape of the engagement recess 26b in vertical cross section corresponds to the shape of the engagement protrusion 26a. The portion defining the engagement recess 26b may be fixed by adhesive, welding, or the like so as to close the through hole formed in the end surface protection piece 25, but in the illustrated example, it is integrally formed with the end surface protection piece 25 by pressing or the like. In the illustrated example, the portion defining the bottom side of the engagement recess 26b is embedded in the second end portion 15 of the core material 13.
[0027] The depth dimension (dimension in the second direction) of this engagement recess 26b and the dimension along the panel thickness direction may be set to appropriate dimensions so that the engagement protrusion 26a can be received. In the example shown, the depth dimension of the engagement recess 26b is greater than the protrusion dimension of the engagement protrusion 26a. Also, an example is shown in which the dimension along the panel thickness direction of the opening edge of the engagement recess 26b is approximately the same as the dimension along the panel thickness direction of the base end of the engagement protrusion 26a. The dimension in the first direction of the engaging recess 26b may be an appropriate dimension from the viewpoint of absorbing the positional misalignment in the first direction between adjacent ceiling panels 1, 1 in the second direction, and may be, for example, approximately 1.5 to 5 times the dimension in the first direction of the engaging protrusion 26a. When the engaging recesses 26b and engaging protrusions 26a of adjacent ceiling panels 1, 1 in the second direction are engaged, the end surface protection pieces 25, 25 are configured to abut or come close to each other, as shown in Figure 4(c).
[0028] The second reinforcing bracket 23 is substantially U-shaped (or C-shaped) when viewed in the longitudinal direction so as to define a receiving groove 24 that receives the second end 12 of the panel body 10. This receiving groove 24 opens inward in the second direction, toward the panel body 10, and is provided to extend the entire length of the second reinforcing bracket 23. The bottom of this receiving groove 24 is defined by an end face protection piece 25. The second reinforcing bracket 23 is provided with a substrate-side piece 28 that defines one side of the receiving groove 24 in the groove width direction (the ceiling substrate 2 side), and an indoor-side piece 29 that defines the other side of the receiving groove 24 in the groove width direction (the indoor side). The base side piece 28 is provided so as to extend inward in the second direction from the edge of the end surface protection piece 25 on the ceiling base 2 side, and is plate-shaped with its thickness direction being the panel thickness direction. This base side piece 28 has a plurality of elongated holes with their major diameters long in the first direction and spaced apart in the first direction. The illustrated example shows an example in which a rising piece is provided that rises from the tip end (inner end in the second direction) of this base side piece 28 in the extension direction toward the ceiling base 2 side. With this configuration, the rigidity of the second reinforcing bracket 23 can be improved.
[0029] Ends 28a, 28a (see FIGS. 2(b) and 3) located at the four corners of the panel main body 10, which are both longitudinal ends of this base side piece 28, are sandwiched between the covering piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 of the fixing member 30. This base side piece 28 may be attached to the base side surface of the second end 12 of the panel main body 10 by an appropriate adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive, or the like in addition to the fixing member 30. The indoor-side piece 29 extends inward in the second direction from the indoor-side edge of the end-face protection piece 25 and is plate-shaped with its thickness direction being the panel thickness direction. The dimensions (extension dimensions) of this indoor-side piece 29 and the base-side piece 28 in the second direction may be appropriately determined from the perspectives of protecting the second end 12 of the panel body 10, reducing weight, making it less noticeable on the indoor side, etc. In this example, the extension dimension of the indoor-side piece 29 is smaller than the extension dimension of the base-side piece 28. With this configuration, the indoor-side piece 29 exposed on the indoor side can be made less noticeable. The extension dimension of this indoor-side piece 29 may be approximately 1 / 5 to 4 / 5 of the extension dimension of the base-side piece 28, and in the example shown, it is approximately 1 / 3.
[0030] Four fixing members 30, 30, 30, 30 are provided to fix the first reinforcing brackets 20, 20 on both sides in the first direction and the second reinforcing brackets 23, 23 on both sides in the second direction to the four corners of the panel main body 10. These four fixing members 30, 30, 30, 30 each have the same configuration, so one example of a specific configuration will be described below. As shown in FIG. 3 , the fastening piece 35 of the fixing member 30 is inserted into the core material 13 at a portion of the first end 11 that is covered by the substrate-side sheet portion 19 of the second sheet 17. In other words, the fastening piece 35 is inserted into the layer of the panel main body 10 so as to be located closer to the second surface 13b than the first sheet 16 at the portion of the first end 11 that is covered by the substrate-side sheet portion 19. With this configuration, the substrate-side sheet portions 19 of the first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17, which form part of the panel main body 10, are sandwiched between the fastening piece 35 and the covering piece 31, together with the overlapping ends 21a, 28a of the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23. This allows the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23 to be more firmly fixed to the panel main body 10 via the fixing member 30. The sandwiched layer 10a, which is part of the panel main body 10 sandwiched between the fastening piece portion 35 and the covering piece portion 31, may include a part of the core material 13 in addition to the first sheet 16 and the underlying sheet portion 19.
[0031] As described above, the first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17 contain a glass fiber reinforced resin layer that forms a reinforcing layer, so the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23 can be more firmly fixed to the panel body 10 via the fixing member 30. This can also be expected to have the effect of preventing the first sheet 16 and the second sheet 17 from falling off the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23 in the event of a fire or other disaster. As shown in Figures 2(b) and 3(a), the fastening piece 35 is inserted into the layers of the panel main body 10 from the exposed second end surface 15a of the core material 13. With this configuration, the fastening piece 35 can be inserted into the layers of the panel main body 10 without cutting or otherwise processing the second sheet 17, thereby simplifying the assembly work.
[0032] The end surface protection piece 25 has an insertion hole 27 through which the fastening piece 35 is inserted. With this configuration, it is possible to cover the exposed second end surface 15a of the core material 13 with the end surface protection piece 25, while still allowing the fastening piece 35 to be easily inserted into the layers of the panel main body 10 via the insertion hole 27. Furthermore, because the fastening piece 35 is inserted into the insertion hole 27 of the second reinforcing bracket 23, separation of the second reinforcing bracket 23 from the fixing member 30 can be more effectively prevented. The first reinforcing bracket 20 has an insertion hole 21b through which the fastener 3 attached to the fastening piece 35 is inserted. With this configuration, inserting the fastener 3 into the insertion hole 21b of the first reinforcing bracket 20 more effectively prevents separation of the first reinforcing bracket 20 from the fixing member 30. As a result, the first reinforcing metal fitting 20 and the second reinforcing metal fitting 23 can be firmly connected by the fixing member 30 and the fastener 3.
[0033] Specifically, the insertion hole 21b of the mounting piece 21 of the first reinforcing bracket 20 is configured by an elongated hole formed in the end 21a of one of multiple elongated holes provided in the mounting piece 21. This end 21a is overlapped with the end 28a of the base-side piece 28 of the second reinforcing bracket 23 so as to be located closer to the panel main body 10 than the end 28a of the base-side piece 28. In other words, the end 28a of the base-side piece 28 is overlapped on the ceiling basement 2 side of the end 21a of the mounting piece 21. The end 28a of the base-side piece 28 is positioned closer to the ceiling basement 2 than the base-side piece 28, which is on the inside in the first direction, in accordance with the thickness dimension of the mounting piece 21 (see also FIG. 4(b)). The insertion hole 27 of the end surface protection piece 25 is formed so as to be continuous with a part of this end portion 28a. The insertion hole 27 is formed so as to cut out the corner between the end surface protection piece 25 and the end portion 28a.
[0034] In this example, the fixing member 30 has a configuration in which the covering piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 are integrally provided via a bent portion 34. This configuration improves handling compared to a configuration in which the covering piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 are separate. Furthermore, as will be described later, if fastening holes 36 and insertion holes 32 are provided in the fastening piece 35 and the covering piece 31, alignment of these holes becomes unnecessary, thereby improving attachment. The covering piece 31 is plate-shaped with its thickness direction being the panel thickness direction. The covering piece 31 is elongated in the second direction. The covering piece 31 is provided with an insertion hole 32 through which the fastener 3 is inserted. The covering piece 31 is provided with a gripping portion 33 that rises toward the ceiling substrate 2. The illustrated example shows an example in which the gripping portion 33 is provided at the end of the covering piece 31 on the inside in the second direction (the tip side in the insertion direction of the fastening piece 35).
[0035] The fastening piece portion 35 is plate-shaped with its thickness direction coinciding with the panel thickness direction. The fastening piece portion 35 is elongated in the second direction. The dimension of the fastening piece portion 35 in the second direction is greater than the dimension of the covering piece portion 31 in the same direction. The insertion direction tip portion 37 of the fastening piece portion 35 is tapered in the thickness direction. The fastening piece portion 35 is provided with a fastening hole 36 to which the fastener 3 is fastened. The fastening hole 36 is provided so as to be aligned with the insertion hole 32 of the covering piece portion 31 in the thickness direction. The fastening hole 36 may be a female threaded hole into which the fastener 3 is screwed, or may be a pilot hole into which the fastener 3 is screwed. This fastening hole 36 and insertion hole 32 are positioned inward in the second direction from the end 28a of the base side piece portion 28 when the fixing member 30 is attached to the panel main body 10, and are positioned so as to overlap the insertion hole 21b of the mounting piece portion 21 in the panel thickness direction.
[0036] The fastening piece 35 and the covering piece 31 are formed so that the sandwiched layer 10a, the end 21a of the attachment piece 21, and the end 28a of the base piece 28 can be inserted between them. The thickness of the fastening piece 35 and the covering piece 31 may be set to an appropriate size from the viewpoint of strength and weight reduction, for example, about 0.5 mm to 3 mm. 2 and 3 , this fixing member 30 may be attached by overlapping the end 21a of the mounting piece 21 with the end 28a of the base-side piece 28, inserting the fastening piece 35 into the layer of the panel main body 10 from the second end surface 15a, and fastening the fastener 3 to the fastening piece 35. In this state, the fastening piece 35, which is integrally formed with the cover piece 31, is inserted through the bent portion 34 into the insertion hole 27 of the second reinforcing bracket 23, and the cover piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 are fastened together by the fastener 3 inserted through the insertion hole 21b of the first reinforcing bracket 20. In addition, the sandwiched layer 10a, including the first sheet 16 and the base-side sheet portion 19, is sandwiched between the cover piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 together with the end 21a of the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the end 28a of the second reinforcing bracket 23.
[0037] In the above example, the covering piece 31 and the fastening piece 35 are provided integrally, but they may also be separate pieces. The fixing member 30 that fixes the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23 to the panel main body 10 so as to connect them at the four corners of the panel main body 10 is not limited to the configuration described above, and may have various other configurations. The first reinforcing metal fitting 20, the second reinforcing metal fitting 23, and the fixing member 30 may each be formed from an appropriate metallic material by extrusion molding, pressing, bending, or the like.
[0038] Next, a modified example of the ceiling panel will be described with reference to FIG. In the following modifications, differences from the above-described example will be mainly described, and the same components will be denoted by the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted or simplified. Also, the same effects as those of the above-described example will be omitted or simplified.
[0039] As shown in FIGS. 5(a) to 5(c), the ceiling panel 1A according to this modification differs from the above-described example mainly in the configuration of the engagement portion 26A provided on the end face protection piece portion 25A of the second reinforcing metal fitting 23A. In this modification, the engaging protrusion 26Aa constituting the engaging portion 26A is elongated in the first direction. The engaging protrusion 26Aa is provided in the end surface protection piece 25A in a cut-and-raised shape. The engagement recess 26Ab is a through-hole that penetrates the end surface protection piece 25A in the thickness direction. The engagement recess 26Ab is an elongated hole whose dimension in the first direction is larger than the dimension in the same direction of the engagement protrusion 26Aa. As described above, the engagement dimension between the engagement recess 26Ab and the engagement protrusion 26Aa may be the dimension in the second direction from the opening periphery of the engagement recess 26Ab facing outward in the second direction to the protruding tip of the engagement protrusion 26Aa inserted into the engagement recess 26Ab when they are properly engaged with each other. In this modified example, when the engagement recesses 26Ab and engagement protrusions 26Aa of adjacent ceiling panels 1A, 1A in the second direction are engaged with each other, a small gap is formed between the end surface protection piece portions 25A, 25A, as shown in Figure 5(c).
[0040] In each of the above examples, the dimension in the first direction of the engaging recesses 26b, 26Ab is larger than the dimension in the same direction of the engaging protrusions 26a, 26Aa, but it may also be approximately the same dimension as the dimension in the same direction of the engaging protrusions 26a, 26Aa. In the above-described examples, the engaging protrusions 26a, 26Aa and the engaging recesses 26b, 26Ab are alternately arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the end surface protection piece 25, 25A and are positioned dyad-symmetrically about the longitudinal center, but this configuration is not limited to this. For example, the ceiling panel 1, 1A may have engaging protrusions 26a, 26Aa on one side in the second direction and engaging recesses 26b, 26Ab on the other side in the second direction, or various other engaging portions 26, 26A may be provided. Furthermore, the ceiling panel 1, 1A may not have such engaging portions 26, 26A.
[0041] In the above example, the fastening piece portion 35 of the fixing member 30 is inserted into the layer of the panel body 10 on the indoor side of the substrate-side sheet portion 19 and the first sheet 16, but this is not limited to such an example. For example, the fastening piece portion 35 may be inserted into the layer of the panel body 10 on the indoor side of the first sheet 16 in a portion where only the first sheet 16 is provided, or may be inserted into a layer of the panel body 10 where such a sheet is not provided. In the above example, the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23, 23A are provided to reinforce the four sides of the panel body 10, but the first reinforcing bracket 20 may not be provided. In this case, the fixing members 30 that fix the first reinforcing bracket 20 and the second reinforcing bracket 23, 23A to the four corners of the panel body 10 may not be provided. In this case, the panel body 10 is not limited to the above-described embodiment in which the fixing piece 22 extends over substantially the entire length in the second direction. For example, the first end 11 of the panel body 10 may be provided with multiple fixing portions spaced apart in the second direction, or the first end 11 of the panel body 10 may be directly fixed to the ceiling substrate 2. The configuration of each part of the ceiling panels 1, 1A according to the above embodiment is not limited to the above-described aspects, and various other modifications are possible.
