AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Hypochlorous acid volatilization from the generation section can lead to corrosion within the space purification device, especially when the spraying operation is stopped, as the accumulated vapor increases concentration inside the device.

Method used

A control unit manages a blower to circulate air through the device without micronization, expelling volatilized hypochlorous acid when the purification operation is halted, and maintains hypochlorous acid generation or storage during non-operation periods to prevent corrosion.

Benefits of technology

This approach effectively suppresses corrosion by removing volatilized hypochlorous acid from the device, ensuring safe operation and prolonged device lifespan.

Abstract

To provide a technique for suppressing corrosion of the inside of a space purifier caused by a hypochlorous acid volatilized from a hypochlorous acid water generation part.SOLUTION: In a space purifier 10, an air blowing part 12 guides air to a blowout port from a suction port. A hypochlorous acid water generation part 19 generates hypochlorous acid water. An atomization part 14 atomizes the hypochlorous acid water supplied from the hypochlorous acid water generation part 19, to be included in the air circulated in a case 1. A control part 41 performs a purifying operation where the atomized hypochlorous acid water is included in the air taken in through the suction port so as to be blown out from the blowout port by performing atomization by the atomization part 14 and performing air blowing by the air blowing part 12. The control part 41 performs an anticorrosive operation where the volatilized hypochlorous acid is blown out from the blowout port by blowing air by the air blowing part 12 without performing atomization by the atomization part 14 when the hypochlorous acid water exists in the hypochlorous acid water generation part 19 during stopping the purification operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
