Such containers are often characterized by a hand-held size that allows for easy storage and transportation. Examples of consumable products that are often packaged in such containers include a wide variety of consumer products, including smokeless tobacco-related products.

In certain embodiments, the container can be used for storing smokeless tobacco products.
