We provide buildings that make efficient use of space. [Solution] The building 10 comprises a living room zone 20, a backyard zone 60 adjacent to the living room zone 20, and a first circulation route L1 passing through the living room zone 20 and the backyard zone 60. The first circulation route L1 passes through a first passage A1 passing through the living room zone 20, a second passage A2 along the second direction D2 from the living room zone 20 to the first workroom 61, a third passage A3 along the second direction D2 from the living room zone 20 to the second workroom 71, and a passage P connecting the first workroom 61 and the second workroom 71. Between the second passage A2 and the third passage A3, there is a first space 91 accessible from the second passage A2 and a second space 92 accessible from the third passage A3.
