AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional fire-fighting supply devices face issues where firefighting liquid remains in the hose after use, leading to leakage and contamination during tank replacement due to the hose being disconnected.

Method used

A fire extinguishing device with a guide pipe having a non-porous region above the inlet-forming area and an air reservoir, ensuring air flows into the hose to push out remaining liquid, preventing leakage.

Benefits of technology

Prevents firefighting liquid from leaking from the hose during tank replacement by ensuring complete discharge, thus avoiding contamination of the joint and surroundings.

Abstract

To provide a fire extinguishing service tool in which a fire extinguishing work liquid hardly flows back and leaks from the base end side of a hose even if the hose is removed from a tank when the tank is replaced.SOLUTION: A fire extinguishing service tool 1 according to the present invention includes: a tank 7 for storing an inner bag 5 filled with a fire extinguishing work liquid 3; and a discharge passage 9 for discharging the fire extinguishing work liquid 3 in the inner bag 5; wherein the inner bag 5 is compressed by filling a gas into a gap between the inner bag 5 and an inner surface of the tank 7 to discharge the fire extinguishing work liquid 3 from the discharge passage 9. The discharge passage 9 includes a hose 13 with a nozzle 11 at its tip, and a guide pipe 16 whose upper end is connected to a base end side of the hose 13 and whose lower end is inserted to the vicinity of a bottom part of the inner bag 5 to guide the fire extinguishing work liquid 3 to the hose 13. The guide tube 16 has an inflow hole forming region 19 where a plurality of inflow holes 17 are provided and a non-hole region 21 which is above the inflow hole forming region 19, the non-hole region having no holes formed therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
