To provide a power generation device which can prevent steam in a working fluid from flowing into the atmospheric air and avoid complication and the size increase of the device.SOLUTION: A power generation device 1 includes: a sealed storage part 10 in which a working fluid MC is stored and which is hermetically sealed; a heating part 20 for causing the working fluid MC to boil to generate steam; a rotation part 30 which is disposed within the sealed storage part 10 and rotated by steam of the working fluid MC; and a power generation part 40 which converts rotational motion of the rotation part 30 into electric energy. The working fluid MC has a boiling point lower than that of water, and the heating part 20 heats the working fluid MC from the outside of the sealed storage part 10 to boil the working fluid MC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
