AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing vehicle door devices face inefficiencies in transmitting driving torque from actuators to the driving link, leading to potential twisting stresses and increased operating resistance.

Method used

A vehicle door device with a transmission mechanism that aligns the engaging coupling portion and torque input gear positions in the same axial direction, using a drive lever with a crab claw structure and coaxial pivot shaft, ensuring efficient torque transmission and reduced operating resistance.

Benefits of technology

The configuration maintains a good gear meshing state, allowing for high drive torque transmission efficiency and smooth door operation, with improved mountability and design freedom.

Abstract

To efficiently transmit driving torque to a driving link.SOLUTION: A door device 20 includes a driving device 51 comprising an actuator 65 which outputs driving torque and a transmission mechanism 70 which transmits the driving torque to a driving link 55. The transmission mechanism 70 includes: an axial locking unit 82 provided in the driving link 55; and a driving lever 85 which is equipped with a locking joint unit 84 joined to the axial locking unit 82 and rotatably supported around a support shaft 85x with respect to a vehicle body 2, and equipped with a gear section 86 centered on the support shaft 85x. The transmission mechanism 70 further includes a torque input gear 88 which receives driving torque input thereto, the torque input gear being engaged with the gear section 86 of the driving lever 85. The door device 20 is configured so that a position α1 in which the locking joint unit 84 of the driving lever 85 is locked to the axial locking unit 82 and a position α2 in which the torque input gear 88 is engaged with the gear section 86 are arranged in the same axial position, in an axial direction of a joint shaft 77 of the driving link 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
