Abstract

To provide a technique for allowing an equipment device to execute predetermined operation in a state suitable for executing the predetermined operation.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a portable terminal and an equipment device. The portable terminal is configured to: cause a first memory to store first reservation information when the first reservation information is set by a user; display an inquiry screen for inquiring the equipment device about whether to transmit a first operation instruction when a first reservation time comes or when a time predetermined hour before the first reservation time comes; not transmit the first operation instruction to the equipment device when the user does not select transmitting the first operation instruction to the equipment device on the inquiry screen; and transmit the first operation instruction to the equipment device when the user selects transmitting the first operation instruction to the equipment device on the inquiry screen. The equipment device executes first operation corresponding to the first operation instruction when receiving the first operation instruction from the portable terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
