Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for applying energy to a human body. The device comprises a contact surface 2 that defines an application region in which a human body can be placed within the effective range of the energy. The device further comprises at least one means for delivering the directed energy substantially over the application region, and at least one means for generating a vapor mixture comprising at least one cannabinoid. The device according to the invention also comprises at least one means for guiding the vapor mixture, which has an effective dose of at least one cannabinoid, into the vicinity of the respiratory orifices of a human body. The present invention further relates to a method for operating such a device and to the use of vapor mixtures comprising at least one cannabinoid in designated devices.

Claims

1. A device for applying energy to a human body, comprising: a. a contact surface (2) defining an application zone in which a human body can be placed in the energy application zone; b. at least one means for delivering the energy substantially to the impact zone, and at least one means for generating a vapor mixture comprising at least one cannabinoid, and at least one means for delivering the vapor mixture comprising an effective dose of at least one cannabinoid to the vicinity of the respiratory orifices (A) of the human body.

2. Device according to claim 1, wherein said means for supplying energy directed substantially to the impact zone are adapted to supply electromagnetic energy, in particular radiant energy.

3. Device according to claim 1, wherein the means for supplying energy substantially directed to the impact zone are adapted to supply kinetic energy, in particular, to supply a directed fluid jet.

4. Apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the means for generating a vapor mixture comprise a vaporizer.
