Title: Solid soap dispenser with translating actuation Abstract A device (100) for dispensing scrapings of a solid piece of soap (202), the device comprising: - a housing (102); - a soap holder (104) for holding one or more solid pieces of soap, the soap holder being coupled to the housing; - a scraping module (106) comprising at least one scraping member (108) for scraping scrapings from the solid piece of soap, wherein the soap holder is rotatable relative to the scraping module; - an actuation mechanism (110), comprising: - a pusher handle (1 12); - a rotational output (114); - a coupling mechanism (1 16) arranged to convert a translation of the pusher handle to a rotation of the output; wherein the rotational output is rotationally coupled to the soap holder.
