Abstract

Food service establishments require consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain hygiene and comply with health regulations; however, PPE distribution, attendance recording, and compliance monitoring are commonly performed manually and as separate processes, leading to inconsistent enforcement, human error, and poor record management. Existing automated solutions typically address only dispensing or monitoring and are not tailored for restaurant environments. The utility model is an automated system for dispensing personal protective equipment (PPE) that combines RFID-based employee identification, controlled PPE dispensing, attendance tracking, and camera-based compliance monitoring. It uses machine-learning analysis of images to detect PPE non-compliance and sends real- time alerts. All data are stored in a cloud database for monitoring and reporting, enhancing hygiene enforcement and operational efficiency.
