Surgical suture training apparatus

Abstract

The present utility model relates to a surgical suture training apparatus for use in veterinary and medical training, designed to facilitate hands-on practice and realtime instructional feedback. The apparatus comprises a support member having a base and a fixedly mounted arcuate holder, a hollow cylindrical body removably nested on the arcuate holder and provided with a longitudinal opening, and a suturing silicone sheet removably mounted over the longitudinal opening to simulate biological tissue. The apparatus further includes fastening members configured to secure the silicone sheet to the hollow cylindrical body, allowing easy replacement after repeated use. An internal lighting element may be provided to illuminate the suturing area. The apparatus provides a stable and reusable platform for practicing suturing techniques with improved visibility and ease of use.
