The formulation of an ointment for multiple skin diseases

Abstract

The formulation is an antibacterial and antifungal ointment which comprises of oil of Raphanus sativa seeds, white wax and white petroleum jelly. The ointment acts as a potent antibacterial and antifungal agent and is especially effective against dermatophytes. In clinical trials the ointment was found to be effective, well tolerated and free from irritative and allergic reactions.
