Wheelchair dynamometer

Abstract

The subject of the application is a wheelchair dynamometer comprising a weighing scale system, traction rollers, and a drive unit mounted stationarily on a main base. The weighing scale system (200) is mounted on four strain gauges, on two linear guides, and is also equipped with an actuator, preferably an electric actuator. The traction rollers are connected to a torque sensor mounting module (103) equipped with a torque meter, and the output from the torque meter is coupled via mechanical gears, preferably a chain gear and main shaft, to a motor module (500), a rotating mass module (400), and a brake module (300). Furthermore, the strain gauges and torque meters are connected to a measuring system, and the electric actuator, motor module (500), brake module (300), rotating mass module (400), and measuring system are connected to a power supply and control system.
