Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for manufacturing molded parts for hot and cold water installation systems, in which a plastic material is plasticized and injected into a mold, then removed from the mold and cooled. The method involves adding 10%-15% of an inert gas to the plastic material. The inert gas is added during the plasticization stage. The plastic material is a random polypropylene copolymer. Nitrogen is used as the inert gas. The plastic material is plasticized at a temperature of 170-215 degrees Celsius and injected into a mold at a temperature of 24-40 degrees Celsius at a speed of 16.8-35 mm / s under a pressure of 550-1050 bar and a holding pressure of 200-600 bar at the beginning of the process, decreasing to 50 bar. The clamping force during injection is 800 - 1100 kN, the pressing time is 2 seconds and the cooling time is 80 - 500 seconds.
