Abstract

The automatic machine for grinding and packing freshly ground coffee and its operation procedure allow, based on the weight set via the user interface by the user, to enable the transport and positioning of the empty bag, then its opening and filling, as well as sealing by welding, and measuring and labeling of the filled bag, before it is delivered to the user. Grinding of coffee by means of a coffee delivery and grinding module that includes a grinder (6) for coffee and a dispenser (7) is followed by packaging in flexible preformed free-standing bags with a flat bottom by means of mechanisms (13, 23) for vertical positioning of unopened bags, magazines (10, 20) for bags, mechanisms (12, 22) for extracting unopened bags from the magazine (10, 20), mechanisms (40, 50) for preparing bags for filling stored in the magazine (10, 20), mechanisms (60) for positioning filled bags, mechanisms (30) for preparing bags for welding, mechanisms (36) for welding, mechanisms (70) for positioning measuring bags, mechanisms (90) for vertical positioning of filled bags for labeling, mechanisms (100) for labeling and mechanisms (110) for display, where the operation of the mechanisms is based on linear and rotary drive, as well as on the application of vacuum pumps. Since the machine is fully automated, it is intended to work as a self-service machine in supermarkets or similar retail facilities.
