Abstract

This invention provides a static mixer for fluids, which can be used in welding torches and the like to more efficiently mix and activate flammable gases and fluids such as air. The static mixer A4 for fluids includes: a tube body 1, a linear internal space 4 having a fluid supply pipe 90a and a discharge pipe 90b at both ends in the longitudinal direction; and a guide body 3b, housed in the internal space 4 of the tube body 1b, with helical blades 30a and 30b provided on the outer peripheral surface 39 from the supply pipe 90a toward the discharge pipe 90b, and a gap 400 of a predetermined size provided between the front ends of the helical blades 30a and 30b and the inner peripheral surface 19 forming the internal space 4 of the tube body 1b.
