[0047] The following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field based on the embodiments of the present invention without making any creative efforts shall fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
[0048] Household appliances such as washing machines are often equipped with display panels. The display panel generally includes a housing and a diaphragm for displaying images and text. During processing, the housing of the display panel is often integrally injection-molded with the image and text display diaphragm, and the circuit of the image and text display diaphragm is led out through the outlet of the housing. In order to prevent the position of the lead-out circuit from changing during use, after the circuit of the image and text display diaphragm is led out from the display module, it is often necessary to further fix the lead-out circuit to the housing at the lead-out outlet. In the prior art, the lead-out circuit is often fixed to the display module by applying glue to the lead-out circuit. During processing, it is necessary to wait for the glue to stabilize before proceeding to the next processing step. Since the time required for the glue to solidify and stabilize is relatively long, waiting for the glue to solidify will seriously reduce the production efficiency of the appliance, which is not conducive to mass production.
[0049] To solve the above problems, as shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 8 , the present application proposes a display module 10 . The display module 10 includes a housing 100 , a diaphragm 200 , and a pressing plate 300 .
[0050] As shown in Figure 1, the housing 100 has a first wall surface 110. It should be noted that, in different embodiments, the housing 100 can be formed by injection molding on the diaphragm 200, so that the housing 100 and the diaphragm 200 form a whole. The housing 100 can also be first manufactured by any suitable method, and then the diaphragm 200 can be installed on the housing 100. Specifically, the injection molding material can be injected onto the outer surface of the diaphragm 200 and the housing 100 can be formed by the process of in-mold injection molding. Of course, it is understandable that the diaphragm 200 can also be applied to the housing 100 by other processes, and the technical solution of this application does not limit the manufacturing method and specific installation method of the housing 100 and the diaphragm 200.
[0051] As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 , the diaphragm 200 is connected to the first wall 110 . The diaphragm 200 includes a main portion 210 and an extension portion 220 connected to each other. The extension portion 220 includes a second wall 221 facing away from the first wall 110 .
[0052] It is understandable that, in a specific household appliance, the diaphragm 200 may include a substrate layer, a graphic layer and a circuit layer, and the graphic layer and the circuit layer are both printed on the substrate layer. As a printed carrier, the substrate layer can be configured with a thin sheet having a certain structural strength. The raw material of the substrate layer can be resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), acrylic resin, etc. The type of graphics on the graphic layer can also be arbitrary. Specifically, the graphics on the graphic layer can be any type of language (for example, Chinese characters, English letters, French letters, etc.), numbers, color combinations, patterns, and any one or any combination of graphics presented in areas with different gray values. The circuit layer has a printed circuit, so that the circuit layer as a whole presents the form of a flexible circuit. In different embodiments, the printing method may also be different. Specifically, the circuit can be printed by spraying, laser printing, brushing, etc. In short, each printed layer printed on the substrate layer itself does not have a film carrier, that is, the circuit layer itself does not have a film carrier, and the graphic layer itself does not have a film carrier. Each printed layer uses the substrate layer as a carrier, and each printed layer is printed layer by layer on the substrate layer to achieve the graphic display function of the membrane 200.
[0053] It should be noted that, as shown in FIG1 , a portion of the diaphragm 200 is located inside the housing 100 for graphic display, function control, etc., and this portion of the diaphragm 200 is referred to herein as the main body 210. A portion of the diaphragm 200 needs to be led out of the opening of the housing 100 to connect the internal diaphragm 200 with the outside. In other words, this portion of the diaphragm 200 carries the wiring that connects the entire diaphragm 200 to the outside. This portion is the outlet portion of the in-mold component in which the graphic layer and circuit layer are integrally injection-molded. This portion of the diaphragm 200 is referred to herein as the extension portion 220.
[0054] As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the pressure plate 300 is attached to the second wall 221 and connected to the housing 100. The pressure plate 300 and the housing 100 jointly clamp the extension 220. The first wall 110 is away from the second wall 221, and the pressure plate 300 is attached to the second wall 221. In other words, the pressure plate 300 is arranged on the side of the diaphragm 200 away from the housing 100. The pressure plate 300 is further connected to the housing 100, so that the diaphragm 200 is clamped between the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100. It is understandable that the pressure plate 300 can be made of the same or different material as the diaphragm 200. When the pressure plate 300 is fixed to the housing 100, the fixing of the pressure plate 300 to the housing 100 can also be achieved by adhesive backing (adhesive), spot welding, surface welding, two-color injection molding or multi-color injection molding. Compared with the prior art, which directly applies glue to the extension part 220 and then fixes the extension part 220 to the shell 100 by gluing and fixing, which requires a long time to wait for the glue to solidify, the present application adopts a pressing plate 300 to cooperate with the shell 100 to fix the extension part 220. This not only enables the extension part 220 to be fixed to the shell 100 efficiently and quickly, thereby effectively improving the production efficiency of the display module 10, but also enables the pressing plate 300 to protect the circuit. The contact surface between the pressing plate 300 and the extension part 220 is large and uniform, the pressing plate 300 has a stronger fixing ability for the circuit, and the stress concentration is also significantly reduced. This enables the pressing plate 300 to better protect the circuit when the extension part 220 is pulled, and on the other hand, the large area coverage also enables the pressing plate 300 to provide better moisture-proof protection for the extension part 220.
[0055] It should be noted that, as shown in Figure 1, for the sake of convenience, this application uses the direction parallel to the side of the extension 220 and pointing from the extension 220 to the main body 210 as the first direction Y, and the direction parallel to the second wall 221 and perpendicular to the first direction Y as the second direction X.
[0056] As shown in Figures 2 and 5 , in some embodiments, the length of the pressure plate 300 can vary depending on different usage requirements. It is understood that in different embodiments, the pressure plate 300 can be positioned across the extension 220 along the second direction X, meaning that the pressure plate 300 can cover the extension 220 along the second direction X. The pressure plate 300 can also partially cover the extension in the second direction X. In different embodiments, the display module 10 can include only a single pressure plate 300 or multiple pressure plates 300. When the display module 10 includes multiple pressure plates 300, each pressure plate 300 can completely cover the extension 220 along the second direction X, or can only partially cover the extension 220 in the second direction X. In different embodiments, the manner in which the pressure plate 300 covers the extension 220 can vary depending on different usage requirements. As shown in Figure 4 , in this embodiment, along the second direction X, the pressure plate 300 includes a first end 310 and a second end 320 arranged oppositely. The extension 220 includes a first side 222 and a second side 223 oppositely arranged. The first end 310 is located on the side of the first side 222 facing away from the second side 223, and the second end 320 is located on the side of the second side 223 facing away from the first side 222. That is, in this embodiment, both ends of the pressing plate 300 are arranged along the second direction X. The first end 310 of the pressing plate 300 is located on the side of the housing 100 close to the first side 222 of the extension 220, and the second end 320 is located on the side of the housing 100 close to the second side 223 of the extension 220. The pressing plate 300 covers the extension 220 along the second direction X. In this embodiment, the pressing plate 300 completely covers the extension 220 along the second direction X, which not only helps to strengthen the fixing of the pressing plate 300 to the diaphragm 200, but also helps to further disperse the contact stress between the pressing plate 300 and the diaphragm 200.
[0057] As shown in FIG6 , in some embodiments, depending on different usage requirements, both the first end 310 and the second end 320 of the pressure plate 300 may be connected to the housing 100, or only some of the ends may be connected to the housing 100. Taking the connection of the first end 310 to the housing 100 as an example, when only the first end 310 of the pressure plate 300 is connected to the housing 100, due to the strength of the pressure plate 300, the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100 form a clamping structure with one end open, and the diaphragm 200 is clamped between the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100. Having only one end of the pressure plate 300 connected to the housing 100 facilitates disassembly and maintenance of the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100. In this embodiment, both the first end 310 and the second end 320 are connected to the housing 100. Having both the first end 310 and the second end 320 connected to the housing 100 effectively improves the stability of the extension 220 fixed to the housing 100.
[0058] In some embodiments, the width of the pressing plate 300 along the second direction X can vary depending on different usage requirements. In some embodiments, to facilitate processing, the width of the pressing plate 300 along the first direction Y can also be the same. That is, in some embodiments, the pressing plate 300 can be a regular rectangular parallelepiped pressing plate 300. As shown in FIG4 , in this embodiment, the pressing plate 300 also includes a middle portion 330 that overlaps with the extension 220 in a direction perpendicular to the second wall 221. Along the direction from the extension 220 toward the main body 210, that is, along the first direction Y, the width of the middle portion 330 can be smaller than the width of the first end portion 310. It should be understood that the middle portion 330 herein refers to the portion of the pressing plate 300 that overlaps with the extension 220 in the first direction Y. The fact that the width of the middle portion 330 can be smaller than the width of the first end portion 310 can be understood as meaning that the average width of the first end portion 310 along the first direction Y is greater than the average width of the middle portion 330. In some embodiments, the width of the middle portion 330 can also be smaller than the width of the second end portion 320. Similarly, the width of the middle portion 330 can be smaller than the width of the first end portion 310. This can be understood as meaning that, along the first direction Y, the average width of the second end portion 320 is greater than the average width of the middle portion 330. When the widths of the width ends of the pressure plate 300 are greater than the width of the middle portion 330, the connection areas between the first and second ends 310, 320 and the housing 100 are greater than the connection areas between the middle portion 330 and the diaphragm 200, thereby enabling the first and second ends 310, 320 to be more stably connected to the housing 100. Furthermore, after the pressure plate 300 is positioned on the housing 100, the housing 100 is heat-soldered to connect the first and second ends 310, 320 to the housing 100. Since the widths of the first and second ends 310, 320 along the first direction Y are greater than the width of the middle portion 330, the first and second ends 310, 320 can be engaged with the housing 100, thereby increasing the stability of the connection between the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100.
[0059] As shown in Figure 1, in some embodiments, depending on different usage requirements, the housing 100 may be provided with a connection structure that facilitates connection with the first end 310 and the second end 320. Specifically, the first housing 100 may be provided with connection structures such as connection bosses and connection clips. In this embodiment, the first wall 110 is provided with a first boss 111 and a second boss 112. The first boss 111 and the second boss 112 are respectively provided on both sides of the extension portion 220 along the second direction X. The first end 310 is connected to the first boss 111, and the second end 320 is connected to the second boss 112. Specifically, the first end portion 310 may be provided with a slot for connecting to the first boss 111, and the second end portion 320 may also be provided with a slot for connecting to the second boss 112. The provision of the first boss 111 and the second boss 112 can further enhance the connection strength between the first end portion 310 and the second end portion 320 and the housing 100, thereby improving the connection stability between the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100, and also further enhancing the ability of the pressure plate 300 to secure the extension 220. It is understood that in some embodiments, the housing 100 may be provided with both the first boss 111 and the second boss 112. The forms of the first and second bosses 111, 112, and the methods of connecting the first and second bosses 111, 112 to the pressure plate 300 may vary. In some embodiments, the display module 10 may also be provided with connectors, thereby connecting the first end portion 310 and the second end portion 320 to the first and second bosses 111, 112, respectively, through the connectors. This is not a limitation herein.
[0060] As shown in FIG6 , in some embodiments, in order to enhance the limiting effect of the pressure plate 300 on the diaphragm 200, the pressure plate 300 can also be connected to the main body 210. Specifically, along the first direction Y, the pressure plate 300 can be connected to the extension 220 at one end and to the main body 210 at the other end. Specifically, the pressure plate 300 can abut against the main body 210 through its side edge close to the main body 210, thereby limiting the main body 210. The pressure plate 300 can also directly cover the main body 210 so that the housing 100 directly fixes the main body 210 to the housing 100. In this embodiment, the first wall 110 is provided with a first boss 111 and a second boss 112. Along the second direction X, the first boss 111 and the second boss 112 are respectively provided on both sides of the extension 220. The main body 210 includes a fourth side 211, to which the extension 220 is connected. The fourth side 211 abuts the first boss 111 and the second boss 112 along a direction from the main body 210 toward the extension 220. In other words, in a direction opposite to the first direction Y, the side of the main body 210 near the extension 220 abuts the pressure plate 300, thereby further enhancing the pressure plate 300's ability to retain the diaphragm 200.
[0061] As shown in FIG7 , in some embodiments, the pressure plate 300 can be connected to the housing 100 in different directions depending on different usage requirements. Specifically, the third side 340 of the pressure plate 300 can be disposed on the housing 100 along the second direction X, and the third side 340 of the pressure plate 300 can also form any angle with the second direction X. In this embodiment, the pressure plate 300 includes a third side 340 facing away from the main body 210. The third side 340 has a first section 341 that overlaps with the second wall 221 in a direction perpendicular to the second wall 221. The length of the first section 341 is parallel to the second direction X. The pressure plate 300 is disposed on the second wall 221 of the extension 220. The pressure plate 300 has a third side 340 facing away from the main body 210. The portion of the third side 340 that overlaps with the extension 220 constitutes the first section 341. In other words, the first section 341 is the portion of the third side 340 that extends along the second direction X. The extension direction of the first section 341 is consistent with the second direction X. When subjected to external force, the stress on the extension portion 220 and the pressure plate 300 can be evenly distributed along the second direction X, thereby effectively avoiding localized fracture of the extension portion 220 due to stress concentration along the first direction Y. It is understood that the shape of the portion of the pressure plate 300 away from the third side plate can be arbitrary and is not limited here.
[0062] As shown in FIG6 , in some embodiments, to reduce stress concentration between the pressure plate 300 and the main body 210, the first section 341 of the pressure plate 300 can be parallel to the connection between the extension 220 and the main body 210. It is understood that when the extension 220 is subjected to external forces, due to the connection between the pressure plate 300 and the second wall 221, the stress on the extension 220 at the contact boundary between the pressure plate 300 and the second wall 221 will be greater than at non-boundary locations. Furthermore, because the width of the extension 220 along the first direction Y is significantly smaller than the width of the main body 210, the cross-sectional area where the extension 220 and the main body 210 connect changes significantly. Therefore, stress is also relatively concentrated at the connection between the extension 220 and the main body 210. The difference between the connection boundary between the extension 220 and the housing 100 and the connection boundary between the extension 220 and the main body 210 also increases stress on the extension 220, thereby increasing the risk of damage to the extension 220. To reduce the risk of diaphragm 200 fracture due to stress concentration, in this embodiment, the main body 210 includes a fourth side 211, the extension 220 is connected to the fourth side 211, and the first section 341 is parallel to the fourth side 211. When the extension 220 is subjected to external force, because the first section 341 is parallel to the fourth side 211, that is, the boundary between the pressure plate 300 and the extension 220 is parallel to the boundary between the extension 220 and the main body 210, the stress on the extension 220 can be evenly distributed, reducing the risk of the extension 220 fracture.
[0063] As shown in Figures 4, 6, and 8, in some embodiments, to enhance the securing effect of the pressing plate 300 on the extension 220, the pressing plate 300 may cover the extension 220 at varying distances along the first direction Y. It should be noted that the pressing plate 300 covers the extension 220 along the second direction X. Specifically, in different embodiments, the distance that the pressing plate 300 covers the extension 220 from the first side 222 or the second side 223 along the second direction X may vary. Similarly, the pressing plate 300 covers the extension 220 along the first direction Y. Specifically, in different embodiments, the distance that the pressing plate 300 covers the extension 220 from the fourth side 211 may vary. In this embodiment, the main body 210 includes a fourth side 211, the extension 220 is connected to the fourth side 211, and the pressure plate 300 includes a third side 340 facing away from the main body 210. The third side 340 has a first section 341 that coincides with the second wall 221 in a direction perpendicular to the second wall 221. The distance L between the first section 341 and the fourth side 211 satisfies the following relationship: 0 mm < L ≤ 10 mm. Specifically, the distance between the first section 341 and the fourth side 211 can be 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 3 mm, 7 mm, 9.6 mm, or 10 mm, etc., without limitation herein.
[0064] As shown in FIG8 , in some embodiments, depending on different usage requirements, the pressing plate 300 can cover not only the extension 220 but also the main body 210 along the first direction Y. In this embodiment, the main body 210 includes a fourth side 211, the extension 220 is connected to the fourth side 211, and the pressing plate 300 includes a fifth side 350 facing the main body 210. When viewed in a direction perpendicular to the second wall 221, the fourth side 211 and the fifth side 350 are flush. In other words, to ensure the ability of the pressing plate 300 to secure the diaphragm 200, the fourth side 211 can overlap with the fifth side 350 along the first direction Y. In some embodiments, to further enhance the ability of the pressing plate 300 to secure the diaphragm 200, the fifth side 350 can be located on the side of the fourth side 211 facing away from the extension 220.
[0065] As shown in FIG1 , in some embodiments, to facilitate quick and easy installation of the pressure plate 300 on the housing 100, the housing 100 may be provided with a positioning structure. Similarly, the pressure plate 300 may also be provided with a positioning structure to facilitate installation. In some embodiments, the housing 100 may include positioning posts 120 to assist in positioning the pressure plate 300 on the housing 100. It is understood that the positioning posts 120 may be auxiliary positioning members used when placing the pressure plate 300 on the housing 100, or they may be connecting and positioning members used to secure the pressure plate 300 to the housing 100, without limitation. It is understood that in some embodiments, the pressure plate 300 may be provided with positioning holes 360 for use with the positioning posts 120, and the positioning posts 120 may be inserted into the positioning holes 360. It should be noted that the pressure plate 300 may also be provided with positioning grooves or other structures to enable connection between the pressure plate 300 and the positioning posts 120. In some embodiments, the display module 10 may be provided with one or more sets of positioning posts 120 and positioning holes 360. In this embodiment, the housing 100 includes a positioning post 120, the pressure plate 300 includes a positioning hole 360, and the positioning post 120 is passed through the positioning hole 360. It should be noted that, since in some embodiments, the housing 100 is made by injection molding, in order to avoid defects such as large injection molding dents in the housing 100 during injection molding due to the positioning post 120 having an excessively large diameter, the diameter of the positioning post 120 may be no greater than 1.5 mm, and the height of the positioning post 120 may be no greater than 2 mm. Specifically, the diameter of the positioning post 120 may be any suitable value such as 1.5 mm, 1 mm, or 0.3 mm, and the height of the positioning post 120 may be any suitable value such as 2 mm, 1.5 mm, 0.8 mm, or 0.5 mm, and no limitation is imposed here. It is understandable that, in some embodiments, the positioning post 120 may also be provided on the pressure plate 300, and the positioning hole 360 may also be provided on the housing 100. In some embodiments, the pressure plate 300 may be provided with both a positioning post 120 and a positioning hole 360 . Similarly, the housing 100 may also be provided with both a positioning hole 360 and a positioning post 120 that cooperate therewith, which will not be described in detail here.
[0066] As shown in Figures 1 and 8, in different embodiments, the pressure plate 300 can be fixed to the housing 100 in different ways according to different usage requirements. In different embodiments, the pressure plate 300 can be fixed to the housing 100 by welding or gluing. Specifically, welding can be spot welding, surface welding, etc., and gluing can be gluing on the side of the pressure plate 300 close to the housing 100 to achieve the connection between the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100. Compared to the prior art method of directly applying glue to the extension 220 to secure the extension 220 to the housing 100, the pressure plate 300 can also be glued on the side close to the housing 100, which can effectively improve the production efficiency of the display module 10. On the other hand, in this embodiment, the pressure plate 300 can also be directly fixed to the housing 100 by electric welding. This allows the extension 220 to be quickly and efficiently secured to the housing 100, thereby effectively improving the production efficiency of the display module 10.
[0067] As shown in Figures 1 and 8, in different embodiments, according to different usage requirements, the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100 can be made of different materials. Specifically, the pressure plate 300 and the housing 100 can be made of materials with different melting points. The pressure plate 300 can be connected to the housing 100 in different ways. Specifically, the pressure plate 300 can be connected to the housing 100 by heat melting. It is understandable that when the pressure plate 300 is connected to the housing 100 by heat melting, since the pressure plate 300 is used to connect to the housing 100 and ultimately limit the displacement of the diaphragm 200. Therefore, in order to ensure the fixing effect of the pressure plate 300 on the diaphragm 200, in this embodiment, the pressure plate 300 is connected to the housing 100 by heat melting, and the melting point of the material of the pressure plate 300 is higher than the melting point of the material of the housing 100. During connection, the pressing plate 300 is first placed in advance at the connection point. Then, the connection between the pressing plate 300 and the housing 100 is heated. When the temperature reaches the melting point of the housing 100, the housing 100 begins to melt first. Since the melting point of the pressing plate 300 is higher than that of the housing 100, after the housing 100 begins to melt, the pressing plate 300 gradually sinks into the molten housing 100 toward the side closer to the housing 100. When the molten portion of the housing 100 is sufficient to achieve connection with the pressing plate 300, heating of the housing 100 can be stopped. After the housing 100 cools and solidifies again, the pressing plate 300 is fixed to the housing 100. It should be noted that to facilitate the control of the hot melt connection between the housing 100 and the pressing plate 300, in some embodiments, the pressing plate 300 and the housing 100 can be heated simultaneously. The heating temperature of the hot melt can also be controlled to be between the melting points of the housing 100 and the pressing plate 300, which is not limited here.
